Abstract: Combining with the characteristics and control methods of sintering flue gas, several common methods for flue gas desulfurization(FGD) and development trend of desulfurization technology were described in this paper. According to characteristics of sintering flue gas and selection principles, dual-alkali method was used in the FGD. Desulfurization process, basic principle and characteristics of the process were studied in detail. By contrast test, the effect of concentration of the desulfurization, flue gas flow and surface active agent on the desulfurization efficiency was investigated in detail through calculating the pH value of the solution before and after desulfurization reaction.

Abstract: Sulfonated phthalic magnesium salt (SPMS) was used in the leather deliming process. The deliming properties of SPMS was determined with the indicators such as the change of pH, content of NH4-N, COD of deliming float, deliming speed, etc. The results show that SPMS has a mild deliming ability, excellent buffering and calcium removal performance; the total nitrogen content of deliming float is 3.4% of the conventional deliming process. Comprehensive performance of deliming is well and the delimed crust has a fine, smooth grain. It can be used as non-ammonium deliming agent in the clean leather manufacture, and it will benefits for the energy saving and emission reduction of leather industry.

Abstract: The hot deformation behavior of TiNiFe shape memory alloy were investigated by isothermal single-pass compression on Gleeble-3500 thermal simulator at the temperature range of 800°C to 1050°C and the strain rate range of 0.01s-1 to 10s-1. The results showed that the true stress-strain curves of TiNiFe shape memory alloy increase with decreasing deformation temperature and increasing strain rate, which indicating that the hot deformations of these conditions are dynamic recrystallization. The hot compression deformation of TiNiFe shape memory alloy can be represented by Arrhenius model. The constitutive equation of TiNiFe shape memory alloy under hot compression deformation is calculated by a linear regression analysis. The activation energy for hot deformation of the experimental steel is 202.54kJ/mol.

Abstract: New thiol modified mesoporous adsorbent with different pore sizes was synthesized by hydrothermal, with triblock copolymers pluronic (F127) and cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTMABr) functioned as the mixing template, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene (TMB) functioned as pore-expanding agent. Adsorption performance of different pore sized mesoporous adsorbents was studied by treatment of Heavy metal Cu2+. Results showed that the optimum dosage was molar ratio of 1.5 between TMB and surfactant, and under that condition, the BET pore size was 6.554 nm and BET pore volume was 0.6134cm3/g. The adsorption of Cu2+ on mesoporous adsorbents fitted well to Redlich-Peterson isotherm equation, which indicated chemisorption was dominant in the process of heavy metal adsorption on the mesoporous adsorption and monomolecular layer adsorption took advantage. According to Langmuir equation, QL was 0.6210 mmol/g, and that demonstrated pore-expanding treatment could not only enlarge pore volume and diameter, but also effectively increase the contact area with heavy metals. Pore-expanded functionalized mesoporous silica could act as the optimal adsorbents for heavy metal adsorption.

Abstract: The aim of the study was to investigate the grafting process of β-cyclodextrin onto chitosan fibers via epichlorohydrin as a crosslinking agent. The parameters influencing the efficiency of the grafting reaction were studied by L9 (34) orthogonal test. The amounts of β-cyclodextrin grafting onto the treated fibers were estimated in terms of levofloxacin content. The optimum process was found to be epichlorohydrin 0.64 ml, temperature25°C, post-reaction time 48h, pre-reaction time 4.5h when chitosan fibers were 0.48g. In the case, the inclusion amount of levofloxacin was 1.792mg/g, and the releasing amount was 0.845mg/g at 35°C. The modified and unmodified fibers were characterized by FTIR Spectroscopy , which indicated that β-CD grafted with chitosan fibers were prepared successfully.

Abstract: Different materials will offer different physical property and visual effects, where the building form is the result of adapting to the material and showing its effect. This paper made some suggestions on selecting and applying materials involved in building design in terms of structure stress, making technique and artistic appearance. This method is a return to the essentials of building, and a key direction for building innovation.

Abstract: This Magnesium-doped calcium polyphosphate (MCPP) porous bioceramics of different magnesium content were prepared by the method of solid reaction sintering. The effect of magnesium on the structure and density of magnesium-doped calcium polyphosphate bioceramics was studied. Phases, cross section morphologies and porosity of MCPP bioceramics were analyzed with X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that MCPP ceramics were successfully prepared by the solid reaction sintering, and the bending strength of ceramics began to increase and then to decrease with increasing amounts of magnesium content apart with the improvement of the stability improved.

Abstract: The surface modification of natural rubber (NR) latex film by argon plasma pretreatment and subsequent UV-induced graft copolymerization of N-vinypyrrolidone (NVP) was carried out to improve the hydrophilic behavior. The effects of plasma pretreatment time and UV irradiation time on the graft yields were studied. The peroxide functionalities formed by the oxidations in air after plasma pretreatment are the activated species for the subsequent UV-induced graft copolymerization of NVP. ATR-FTIR and XPS analyses indicate that the PVP molecules have covalently bonded onto the surface of NR latex film. The argon plasma pretreatment time of 2min and UV irradiation time of 10min are the proper conditions for the graft polymerization of NVP onto NR latex film, which can reduce the water contact angle value of NR latex film from 95o to about 57o.

Abstract: Surface residual stress distributions introduced by several surface treatments of 7075 aluminum alloy were acquired by non-destructive X-ray diffraction method. On the one hand, stress evolutions of the surface treated specimens were measured and analyzed to guide laboratory tests and engineering practices. On the other hand, the advantages of X-ray diffraction method in some test cases and reliability and accuracy of the measurements are discussed compared with the center hole-drilling method. The results show that X-ray method is flexible and accurate especially in measuring shallow surface layers stresses, which may be difficult or even be impossible to measure using traditional mechanical test methods. Different surface treatments introduce various distributed stresses and the latter treatment may remove the effects of the former one, so a practical treatment containing portable grinding wheel polishing, cross fine metallographic grinding machine polishing or low-speed milling, and mechanical polishing or electropolishing is suggested which can reduce the effects of external stresses introduced by surface treatments.

Abstract: A novel soybean oil monoglyceride based unsaturated polyester resin (SOMGUPR) was prepared using two step polymerization with soybean oil,glycerol,1.2-propanediol,maleric anhydride and phthalic anhydride. FT-IR spectroscopy ,Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) and 1H-NMR spectroscopy were employed to study the chemical structure and molecular weight of this unsaturated polyester resin. The results show that 190°C is the optimal temperature to controll the extent of estification reaction. The number-average molecular weight(Mn) decrease with the increasing value of nglycerol:nsoybean oil in SMOGUPR.Also, the side reaction between SOMG and maleric anhydride has not occured as evidenced by 1H-NMR spectroscopy.
