Abstract: The kinetics of the esterification reaction of hydroxymethyl(phenyl)phosphinic acid (HMPPA) with Ethylene Glycol (EG) was studied. The reaction was carried out using benzene as a water carrying agent, and the reactant concentration was determined by titration of NaOH solution. The reaction mechanism was explained. Reaction time and reaction temperature were investigated to find their effect on the reaction. The kinetic model of the apparent reaction was built. It was found that the apparent reaction is a second order reaction, and the activation energy is 41.57 kJ/mol.

Abstract: In this paper, pure, single phase and high crystalline zeolite 4A samples were synthesized by hydrothermal treating by-products of polysilicon production process. The influence of crystallization time and the molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 on degree of crystallinity of synthesized zeolite 4A samples was studied. The degree of crystallinity, skeleton structure and particles morphology of zeolite 4A samples were characterized by XRD,FT-IR,SEM,respectively.The results show that synthesized zeolite 4A samples were identical with commodity zeolite 4A.

Abstract: Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) are potential scavengers for anionic contaminants due to their “memory effect”. Here we report the removal of thiosulfate anion from contaminated water by calcined MgAl–CO3 LDH (CLDH). The results indicate that CLDH exhibits a good performance in adsorption of thiosulfate. We studied the kinetics and thermodynamics of adsorption of thiosulfate from water. The equilibrium isotherm showed that the uptake of thiosulfate anion well agrees with the Langmuir equation, the positive value of △HӨ demonstrates the endothermic feature of the adsorption, the pseudo-second order kinetics model can be uItalic textsed to describe the uptake process and the value of Ea was calculated to be 75.898 kJ/mol. Our results suggest that the process of thiosulfate uptaking was controlled by the reaction rate of thiosulfate with the CLDH rather than diffusion.

Abstract: In the design of tribology pairs, the Rayleigh step bearing is known as a bearing with the highest load capacity amongst all other possible bearing geometries. This paper mainly discusses a new high-speed bearing with shallow and deep cavities on the inner surface of the bearing, and further the physical phenomena in laminar flow and turbulence regimes was revealed. In doing so, the pressure distribution was calculated first using the continuity equations and then performances in the whole flow domain such as pressure distribution, load-carrying capacity, friction force and friction coefficient were calculated. In addition, a set of optimum geometries are shown to provide the highest load capacity for the Rayleigh step bearing under varied Reynolds number. Finally, associated conclusions were drawn by comparison between results under the coexistence state and under the laminar state.

Abstract: Novel technology for producing iron oxide red from bypoduct ferrophosphorus was proposed. The conversion rate of Fe can reach 91% when the acidolysis temperature is 408 K,acidolysis time is 90 min, the dosage of H2SO4 is 1.2 times the theoreti-cal value, the ratio of the mass of water for calcined product is 0.9 and the ratio of the mass of catalyst for calcined product is 0.02. The comprehensive recovery and utilization of ferrophos-phorus is feasible with this process.

Abstract: A High Temperature Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger Consists of Heat Pipes Filled with Different Working Media inside. in Different Temperature Zones, Heat Pipes with Different Working Media Are Linked Safely by Controlling the Vapor Temperature, the Media inside the Heat Pipe. the Vapor Temperature inside the Pipe Is Heavily Affected by the Temperature Field of Fluid outside the Heat Pipes and the Heat Transfer Performance inside the Heat Pipe, while the Heat Transfer Performance inside the Pipe in Turn Has a Bearing on the Temperature Distribution of Fluid outside the Pipe. to Coordinate the Fluid Temperature Distribution both inside and outside the Pipes, Study on Local Heat Transfer Enhancement Has Been Conducted on High Temperature Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger in this Article, and Cfd Computational Software Was Used to Make Rational and Accurate Prediction of Fluid Temperature Distribution both inside and outside the Pipes, so as to Provide Economic and Reliable Design Basis for High Temperature Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger.

Abstract: In this paper, preliminary dynamics analysis of synthesis of polyamide polyamine compounds was deduced by kinetic equation. The dynamic analysis shows that the reaction of polyethylene polyamines with adipic acid belongs to typical three reactions. In the kinetic equation, the concentration of carboxyl failed to reflect the ability of provided protons that reaction system to amine.

Abstract: Liquid-liquid equilibrium tie-line data were examined for ternary mixtures of (water + methanol + geraniol) and (water + ethanol + geraniol) at 298.15 K. The distribution ratios of alcohol between organic and aqueous phases are discussed. The immiscible area of (water + methanol + geraniol) system is wider than that for the ethanol system. The experimental liquid–liquid equilibrium data have been satisfactorily represented by using an extended UNIQUAC model.

Abstract: A theoretical model is established in order to analyze the stress state and estimate the connecting strength of the iron-based shape memory alloy pipe-connector. The effect of the temperature on the connecting strength is investigated using this model. The results show that the enclasp force of pipe joint P and maximal stresses of pipe and pipe joint ( , ) decreases linearly as increasing temperature. P and ( , ) decrease as increasing the thickness of the pipe joint, the decrease of is less than that of . Therefore, the thickness of the pipe joint is small as much as possible in order to enhance the enclaspe force.

Abstract: 2-Acetyl-2'-chloroacetanilide has been prepared using 2-chloroaniline and ethyl acetoacetate as starting material in toluene solution. The compound was characterized by mass spectrum, infrared spectrum, 1HNMR, 13CNMR spectra and X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis. The results show that the C=O bond lengths are 1.206(3) Å and 1.195(3) Å, which implies that the molecule is in the keto form. The complex forms layered structure through ••• stacking interaction.
