Abstract: In this work, Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles with high peroxidase-like catalytic activity and spontaneous pH adjustment ability were successfully prepared by co-precipitation method followed by appropriate thermal treatment. Key synthesis factors were identified and adjusted to tailor the crystallinity, chemical composition and then catalytic property. The crystal structure and Fe (II) content of the catalyst strongly affected its degradation efficiency. Phenol was completely removed by the optimal magnetic nanoparticles under a wide range of pH from 3.0 to 8.0. Additionally, this catalyst exhibited low iron leaching, good reusability and excellent potential to eliminate various organic pollutants from waste water. The reaction mechanism was discussed in terms of the formation of HO• and O2•−/HO2• radicals.

Abstract: Satellite constellation has incomparable superiority compared to the single satellite, and can provide effective global intermittent or continuous coverage. This paper designs a laser navigation satellite constellation by simulating the coverage properties of single satellite. The running track of the satellite constellation covers the specified area and provides intermittent navigation information for mobile platforms.

Abstract: Obstacle detection is a crucial issue for pilotless device guidance function and it has to be performed with high reliability to avoid any potential collision with the front object. The vision-based obstacle detection systems are regarded perfect for this purpose because they require little on all kind of condition. In this paper, an obstacle detection system using stereo vision sensors and structured light is developed. This system realizes rapid feature matching and high precision measurement distance with the help of structured light, avoiding the time-consuming of the initial corresponding pairs. After the initial detection, the system executes the tracking light strip algorithm for the obstacles. The proposed system can detect a front obstacle in vision field and obtain the size of obstacle. The proposed obstacle detection system is set up and its performance is verified experimentally

Abstract: Furnace safety supervisory system (FSSS) is the essential unit of a modern boiler monitoring system to ensure the safety of the boiler combustion system. The FSSS system of the 130t/h full gas-fired boiler has some security flaw. The FSSS system of the boiler system is transformed. The system's software capability is improved, the system hardware is upgraded and the system operability is significantly improved. A 72-hour test run is carried out. The experiment results show that the FSSS system meet the design requirement

Abstract: The energy storage system can be engaged to smooth the fluctuation output of wind power for better power quality and stability of power grid. The paper proposes a low-pass-filter-based smooth control model of the wind-storage combined system. Then the paper proposes the evaluation indices which depict power fluctuation of the combined system without/with smooth control, on which the installation storage capacity is optimized. All simulation is done on the basis of measured data

Abstract: Bamboo lignosulfonate was modified under the role of H2O2 and catalyst in order to improve the dispersing property of lignosulfonate. Results show that the amount of H2O2 and pH value have strong influences on characteristics of lignosulfonate. Cement paste fluidity of lignosulfonate modified at pH5 and 11% H2O2 is 178mm, which is 68% higher than that of unmodified lignosulfonate. Both of oxidative degradation and condensation occur during catalytic oxidation reaction, but oxidation is the main reaction when high amount of H2O2 is applied. The structure of lignosulfonate has some relationship to water reducing property. High molecular weight, high carboxylic content and proper sulfonic group content are the main reasons that enhance water reducing property of lignosulfonate.

Abstract: A soft-switching boost half-bridge converter with high voltage gain and low input current ripple is proposed in this paper. In the proposed converter, a coupled inductor is used at the boost converter stage to reduce the input current ripple. The half-bridge converter stage provides soft-switching operation and high voltage gain. Also, the reverse-recovery problem of output diodes is significantly alleviated by utilizing the leakage inductance of the transformer. Due to the soft-switching operation of all switching devices, the switching loss is significantly reduced and the high efficiency is obtained. The feasibility and performance of the proposed converter were verified on an experimental prototype

Abstract: The finite element method is adopted to simulate the whole process of electromagnetic acoustic emission in this paper. The effects of different voltage on distribution of displacement and temp at the tip of the crack are discussed. The simulation results show that, above voltage loading on the metal plate, the value of the temp around the crack tip can be up to the melting point , which will melt the tip of crack. Larger melting sizes are obtained when loading voltage is increased. At the same case, the displacement duo to electromagnetic force at crack tip is much larger than this induced by thermal expansion
