Abstract: In this work, a novel photocatalyst with excellent photocatalytic activities was developed by the combination of TiO2 with graphene oxide (GO). GO was firstly prepared by the chemical oxidation of graphite through Hummers method and the subsequent dispersion and exfoliation in water. Then, GO and P25 nanoparticles (commercial TiO2) were used as raw materials to synthesize TiO2/graphene (TiO2/GE) nanocomposites by using a one-step solvothermal method. TEM images clearly showed that TiO2 nanomaterials (the size of about 15~20 nm) were distributed well onto the two-dimensional (2D) graphene sheets, indicating the formation of TiO2/GE nanocomposites. XRD results indicated that TiO2/GE nanocomposites exhibited TiO2 crystalline phase structure. Meanwhile, it was demonstrated from the methylene blue (MB) photodegradation results that TiO2/GE nanocomposites possessed excellent photocatalytic activities with potential applications.

Abstract: This paper makes a study on the stress and deformation of complex steel structure in the process of hoisting and erection combining with an actual project, to determine the proper hosting and erection techniques in order to offer references and examples for other similar engineering construction. Tianjin Gallery is one of six projects of Tianjin Cultural Center. The steel structure project has an intense time limit, complex project requirements, heavy major diameter steel pipe columns, roof steel trusses in large quantity and huge work amount. In this study, we made a computational simulation and analysis to the work progress using ANSYS to find out the weak links and key control points of work progress in advance. Meanwhile, we monitored and controlled the whole process. The actual monitoring results tally with theoretical calculation data.

Abstract: The overall program of the walking aids which is designed to assist patients with lower limb paralysis to walk again is analysed in this paper. A detailed analysis and design is conducted especially for ball screw driving system.A three-dimensional prototype model of the walking aids is established and interference analysis is carried out in CATIA. The results show that the model dose not appear interference, and the structure is reasonable, which could determine the movement. The study results could provide a reference for the structure design and walking control of exoskeleton and humanoid robot and lay a solid theoretical basis for the achievement of a real sense of walking auxiliaryfuction.

Abstract: TiO2-HZSM-5 composite was prepared by solid state dispersion method using phosphoric acid treated HZSM-5 zeolite and TiO2. The composite was studied for photocatalytic degradation of an azo dye ABR X-3B. When TiO2 content in the composite was 10%, decoloration rate increased almost linearly with increasing TiO2 concentration. Too low of TiO2 content was in accordance to low decoloration rate due to insufficient photocatalyst existing. The maximum decoloration rate appeared as 60% removal of the initial dye, when TiO2 content was 10%. When TiO2 concentration was 80 mg/l, decoloration rate on composite photocatalyst was 97.6% after 70 min of irradiation, which was 25.9% higher than that on pure TiO2.

Abstract: Recently, solid-liquid phase change materials (PCMs) have caused much attention due to their large latent heat. In order to solve their sealed problem, shape-stabilized methods have become a popular research topic. In this study, we prepared epoxy/polyethylene glycol (PEG) shape-stabilized PCMs with different mass ratios successfully by in-situ reactive blending. The maximum mass percentage of PEG dispersed into epoxy to form epoxy/PEG shape-stabilized PCM was determined as 70wt % by observing the morphology at the temperature above the phase transition. The thermal properties, such as melting temperature, latent heat, were measured by DSC. The results showed that the melting temperatures ranged from 55.5 OC to 60.4 OC and the latent heat was proportional to the mass percentage of PEG.

Abstract: Graphene oxide (GO) was used as inorganic fillers to enhance the mechanic properties of graphene oxide/poly(vinyl alcohol) composite hydrogels that were prepared by freeze/thaw method. The structure and properties of the composite hydrogels were characterized. Since GO was well dispersed in polymer matrix, the composite hydrogels showed an outstanding mechanical improvement. Significant increase in Young's modulus and compressive strength was achieved, indicating a good load transfer between fillers and matrix.

Abstract: The In Situ Synthesized Tic Particle Reinforced High Chromium Fe-Based Ceramics Composite Coating Was Fabricated on the Substrate of Q235 Steel by Plasma Cladding Process Using Fe-Cr-Ti-C Composite Powder as Reactive Material. Microstructure of the Coating Was Observed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), the Phases Were Determined by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and the Wear Resistance Was Evaluated under Dry Sliding Wear Test Conditions at Room Temperature. Results Indicate that the Composite Coating Consists of the Reinforcing Tic Carbide, (Cr,Fe)7C3 Eutectic as Well as Austenite, and Is Metallurgically Bonded to the Q235 Steel Substrate. the Gradient Distribution of Tic Carbides Is Observed. Tic Particles Present in the Granular Shape in the Fusion Zone and Central Zone while Present in the Dendritic Shape on the Surface of the Composite Coating. Hardness of the Coating from Surface to Fusion Zone Varies a Little; the Average Hardness of the Coating Is about HV0.2750 which Is 3.2 Times as much as that of the Base. the Wear Mass Loss of Q235 Base Material Is 13 Times Higher than that of the Composite Coating.

Abstract: The aim of this work was to optimize extraction procedure of antibacterial compounds from amomum tsao-ko and verify antibacterial ability of yields. Two methods were carried out and compared. One is ethanol reflux extraction, and the other is ultrasonic-assisted ethanol extraction which selected due to better antibacterial efficiency of the extract obtained. In order to improve extraction rate and antibacterial activity which both varied with ultrasonic-assisted extraction conditions, Box-Behnken design was employed. Studies showed that the optimum conditions for extraction antibacterial substances from amomum tsao-ko were determined to be: ethanol density 100%, soaking time 4h, extraction time 120min.

Abstract: Experiment of photocatalytic degradation was conducted through using tetra-n-butyl titanate and ethyl alcohol as raw material, adopting sol-gol method to prepare photocatalyst of nano-TiO2 and using methylene blue solution as analogue dye wastewater. The influences of hydrolyzing temperature, PH value, different water addition, and different speed of adding drops were investigated, as well as the reuse rate of photocatalyst.
