Abstract: The tensile test to the fiberglass geogrid had been carried on, in the normal temperature, the low temperature, the water immersion, the freezing and the freeze-thaw cycle and so on conditions. The results indicated, the fiberglass geogrid had achieved saturated after been immersed 12h, the water absorption was about 20%, the tensile strength reduced approximately 80%; the tensile strength was dropped slightly on the next freezing test and the freeze-thaw cycle test. So it could be stated that the fiberglass geogrid had the good low temperature performance. Then the interlaminar shearing test had been conducted in the different temperature to the composite structure in which the fiberglass geogrid was laid or not. The result showed that the interlaminar shearing strength had weaken about 20% when laid down the fiberglass geogrid, and along with temperature drop, the shearing strength increased gradually. This research provide the reference for used the fiberglass geogrid correctly in the cold region, had great practical value.

Abstract: A stable 12-phase AC arc was successfully generated and applied in the field of glass in-flight melting, the arc behavior was characterized by image analysis. The effects of electrode configuration and sheath gas flow rate on arc and melting behavior of granulated glass raw material were investigated. Results show that different electrode configurations leads to various arc discharge and high-temperature region. The luminance area with high-temperature region and its fluctuation reflect the change of arc discharge behavior. The vitrification degree of glass raw material is mostly dependent on the center temperature of arc. As the sheath gas flow rate increases, the ratio of luminance area decreases and the center temperature of arc increases.

Abstract: In order to solve the potential conflict problem of product design factor optimization in design for remanufacturing, an idea to transform design conflict problem into mathematical model based on game theory was proposed. In the process of design for remanufacturing, a bargaining theory-based conflict resolution method was established by improving the theory of Nash-Zesen bargaining. Energy consumption and cost were analyzed by the given conflict resolution method, and the validity of the method was verified.

Abstract: As for active magnetic bearing, ordinary electromagnetic force formula based on air gap well-distributed. However, radial active magnetic bearing always face the situation that the rotor is eccentric and the air gap doesn’t well-distributed. This paper gives the calculation method of the electromagnetic force at that situation through calculating the air gap and using integrative approach. Then analysis the influence factors---eccentric rotor distance from center and eccentric angle to electromagnetic force. The result can provide the basis for suspension characteristic of active magnetic bearing.

Abstract: The influence of addition of Y2O3 on the structure of ZrO2 thin films and bulk material was studied employing X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The films were prepared by the electron-beam evaporation method. XRD analysis permits the study of the stabilization process. For pure ZrO2 thin film and coating material, the crystallographic structure is monoclinic phase; with increasing Y2O3 mole percent, the structure of Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) material changes from a mixture of monoclinic and cubic phase to a single cubic phase. Furthermore, calculated results of grain size show that YSZ thin film and coating material have the same crystallization trend.

Abstract: The effect of ultrasonic treatment on some functional properties whey protein isolates (WPIs) was investigated. The water holding capacity of WPIs treated by ultrasound was not significantly changed. The oil holding capacity of WPIs treated by ultrasonic was significantly higher than that by untreated by ultrasonic, especially the power of 50 %. The foaming capacity of WPIs treated by ultrasonic was higher than that by untreated by ultrasonic, while the foaming stability of WPIs treated by ultrasonic was higher than that by untreated by ultrasonic.The emulsifying capacity is almost unchanged. These results showed that ultrasonic treatment could effectively affected some functional properties of WPIs be associated with the sonication time and power density. Therefore, some functional properties of WPIs can be modified by ultrasonic treatment.

Abstract: The research which aimed at low integration and inefficiency of the management in the existing tool management of the machinery manufacturing enterprise (group) in our country, developed tool whole life cycle management system software. It based on the tool whole life cycle theory and adopted Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 language and Access2003 database. The system could do a series of operation, such as, tool purchasing application, tool adding, tool modifying, tool inquiry, tool borrowing and return, tool breakage forecast. And it could make assembling and disassembling tool sheets according to techniques plan. The system could use network database to store the data and output the data by the form of sheet. And it achieved tool information inquiry, distribution and integrated management.

Abstract: This paper presents an optimization study of inlet temperature of methanol synthesis reactor of LURGI type by using commercial simulator Aspen Plus and Aspen Energy Analyzer. The optimization routine is coupled to a steady-state model of the methanol synthesis reactor. By investigating the influences on methanol production and heat exchanger network synthesis, the inlet temperature of the reactor is optimized. when the inlet temperature is 230°C, the economic benefits of the methanol plant is maximized which could be increased by $ 44883.28/ year.

Abstract: Screw thread connection is a common way of detachable connection. The invalidation of screw thread connection will lead to mechanical failure or even retirement. Vibration tapping is essentially a kind of high-energy impact cutting which increases the rigidity of the tool. Composite vibration tapping simultaneously with repeated cutting action reduces the surface recovery of plastic materials and enhances metal cutting rate. Theoretical study and experimental results show that vibration tapping improves the metal cutting rates, enhances the machining accuracy and makes screw thread connection assembly easier. At the same time, vibration tapping process does not reduce the strength of screw thread. As the screw thread can be more uniformed cut at different depths, vibration tapping enhances the strength of screw thread slightly.

Abstract: With the promotion of lightweight structure, hydroformed tubes have been widely used in the automobile industry. In order to join different parts, sheet to tube single-sided spot welding (SSSW) is proposed. In the present study, numerical simulation method is employed, and an electrical-thermal mechanical coupled finite element model is established for predicting the nugget size and shape of sheet to cylindrical tube SSSW. Because of the welding deformation, doughnut weld nugget is formed and the course of the welding deformation can be reflected by the electrode displacement.
