Abstract: Based on the time window in the vehicle scheduling problem(VSP), we propose the concept of time windows of delivery tasks(TWDT) in the distribution center, and describe the TWDT in a kind of three-tuple. Transferring time windows constraint of multiple tasks to a simple temporal constraint network, we simplify the problem of checking the time constraint of multiple tasks to the problem of checking the temporal constraint network’s consistency. According to the characteristic of delivery task and simple temporal constraint network, we proposed the model of time window conflict checking of delivery task.

Abstract: The ABAQUS software was used to analyze the residual stress of TiN film treated by the single point micro-scale laser shock peening (μLSP). In view of the multi-factor effect of μLSP, the response surface methodology (RSM) of Design-Expert software was utilized to analyze the influence of laser process parameters on the residual stress in TiN film, based on the Box-Behnken experimental design methods, as a result, optimal combination of the laser process parameters was obtained. The results showed that μLSP can transform the tensile residual stress in the TiN film into the compressive residual stress, the compressive residual stress was gradually increasing with the increased laser power density, when the laser power density was 8 GW/cm2, the maximum compressive residual stress of the film surface was up to -350.48 MPa. In addition, as the laser power density increased, the maximum compressive residual stress was moving away from the spot center. The optimal combination of the laser process parameters of μLSP was obtained by the RSM, the laser power density was 7.6 GW/cm2, laser spot diameter was 283 μm, and the number of shocking was 2 times. Simulation results of the average residual stress was -248.76 MPa, while the predicting result of regression model was -245.31 MPa, the error was just 1.38 %. The results showed that μLSP was feasible for improving the residual stress distribution of TiN film, and the RSM can effectively optimize the process parameters of μLSP.

Abstract: Inventory control plays a crucial role for civil aircraft in reducing production cost to improve the competitiveness. Aiming at the special requirements of aircraft manufacturing industry, we propose a solution to classify the material instead of ABC inventory control. In order to balance economy and reliability, we build a new criterion system to classify the aircraft material into nine categories. We investigate the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method to classify the material for it has been proved very powerful and effective in establishing classification model with small sample, nonlinearity, high dimension and local minima. The choice of corresponding parameters, the choice of the training set, and the choice of the SVM kernel highly affect the performance of the classification. The study was done to determine the appropriate kernel function and to optimize SVM’s parameters for the classification of civil aircraft materials. Research results prove the validity of the classification model by the software implementation.

Abstract: Scientific maintenance tasks scheduling can improve maintenance effectiveness greatly. Aiming for the shortage of the research on the equipment maintenance tasks scheduling optimization (EMTSO) problem, this paper proposes a new method based on GA. The detail is as follows: Make the optimization model of the EMTSO problem by analyzing the characteristics of maintenance tasks scheduling systemically. Aiming for the NP hard characteristic of the problem, design the genetic algorithm to solve it. Finally, use the instance to validate the method. The result reflects that the method proposed by this paper can solve the equipment maintenance tasks scheduling optimization problem, and it has good applicable value in the military domain.

Virtual Construction Mode (VCM), the modification and optimization of traditional project management mode, meets the needs for the current large-scale engineering management. With the strong support of Virtual Organization (VO) and Vitrual Technology (VT), VCM has the capacity to promote multi-party coordination, resource conservation, as well as scheme prioritization and so on.

Abstract: This paper develops a simulation model to include the short-sea shipping (SSS) on the intermodal freight flow model the author already developed, in order to measure an impact of policy that encourages the utilization of the SSS. The developed model is applied to the real shipping network connecting the northern Kyushu area in Japan with China and Korea; as a result, the model reproduces the actual maritime shipping market well, and some implications are acquired such that in order to advance utilization of the SSS, a kind of drastic policy such as mutual recognition of chassis is needed.

An Integrated AHP-Entropy Approach for Spare Parts Supplier Evaluation and Order Quantity Allocation
Abstract: This paper employs a two-stage method to the spare parts supplier evaluation problem and the order quantity allocation problem. In the first stage, we integrated approaches of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and information entropy to evaluate the suppliers. In the second stage, the alternative suppliers’ weight scores obtained in the first stage are used as coefficients of the objective functions in a linear programming model. The model is developed to determine the optimal order quantity from the suppliers with consideration of the suppliers’ capacities and the buyer’s quality requirements of the products and service. A numerical example about the typical spare parts - ingot mold purchasing in an iron & steel company is presented to illustrate the approach proposed finally

Abstract: This paper compares legislative difference of EPR on WEEE in eight developed countries and districts. We study the ways of implementing EPR on WEEE through analyzing compliance mechanisms and returned logistics network. Combing with their results and taking national actual conditions into account, certain recommendations for implementing EPR in China are given, from the perspective of local authorities and producers.

Abstract: In this paper, we successfully produced Al-Ti-B-C master alloys through adding mixtures of Ti and B4C powders into Al melt. XRD and SEM examinations suggest that only fine TiB2 and TiC particles are formed in the matrix of Al-Ti-B-C master alloy when the Ti/B4C molar ratio is 3/1, while an additional TiAl3 phase is present when the Ti/B4C molar ratio exceeds 3/1. The produced Al-Ti-B-C master alloys exhibited high grain refinement effect for pure Al. It was found that the presence of TiAl3 phase in the matrix of Al-Ti-B-C master alloy enhanced the grain refinement efficiency and the mechanism was discussed.
