Abstract: Optical measurement has been widely used in many fields of science and engineering, such as CAD/CAM, machine vision, quality inspection, reverse engineering, etc, due to its properties of non-contact and high speed. Fringe projection methods have caused much more attentions in full field measurement and insensitive to the change of the objects’ reflectivity. This paper reviews state-of-the art progresses in the 3D shape measuring methods using fringe projection techniques. A comparison of the existing methods is performed with their advantages and drawbacks also are pointed out.

Abstract: In design of ultrasonic flow measurement, the reproducibility of constant amplitude periodic signal will lead to a not unique time difference based on the correlation method. The aim of this paper is to design a set of amplitude modulation transmitting signal to solve the multiple values calculation of the time difference. The frequency characteristics of ultrasonic probe and the amplitude frequency characteristic of different duty cycle square wave are researched and tested. We cleverly combine the logic device FPGA with the property of the ultrasonic probe to achieve the amplitude modulation waveform in the circuit design. The experimental results show that FET switch controlled by the logic device FPGA can transmit amplitude modulation signal. The measured error of time difference after correlation is not more than 1.62s.

Abstract: In this paper, miniature air data system is designed based on thermally excited resonant silicon micro structural pressure sensor. The system employs thermally excited resonant silicon micro structural pressure sensor for the pressure measurement. Using miniature embedded computer, calculation of the parameters such as height, airspeed and mach number and real-time display by LCD are realized. The volume and weight of this system is only one-twelfth of the original. In addition, it has the characteristics of high accuracy, high resolution, high stability and repeatability.

Abstract: This paper investigate the problem of Robust H∞ filtering for stochastic networked control system with nonlinearities and missing measurements. In this paper, missing measurements and nonlinearities are considered. The sufficient conditions for the existence of the filter are given, thus, guaranteeing the filter error system exponentially stable in the mean-square sense and the performance satisfies a prescribed level by employing the new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and linear matrix inequality technique, some new sufficient conditions are obtained.

Abstract: Based on the application of radiant energy in various fields, the fundamental knowledge about incident radiation, including physical quantities and units, is summarized. Then, the category and principle of radiant energy detector are introduced, i.e. thermal detectors and photodetectors. Also, their application conditions are compared. It is significantly important for users to understand their operation principles and to choose an appropriate radiation measuring detector.

Abstract: The gas sensor is very important for coalmine production safety. The Fluent software was used to simulate underground gas distribution. Geometry model was established and divided by grids. Gas distribution in fully mechanized coal face was simulated using RNG k-ε model according to conversation equation in turbulent state, turbulent kinetic energy equation and turbulent dissipation rate equation. The results show that gas is likely to accumulate in the upper corner, when wind passes through the corner after washing fully mechanized coal face, wind velocity is unstable, performance of sensor placed in inner side of turning is different from that placed in outer side of turning. The result shows that gas can be monitored effectively with this method which has an important value and instructive significance.

Abstract: Control charts are effective tools for monitoring both manufacturing processes and service processes. Much service data comes from a process with variables having non-normal or unknown distributions. The commonly used Shewhart variable control charts which depend heavily on the normality assumption should not be applied here. Hence, an alternative is desired to handle these types of process data. In this paper, we propose a new Variance Chart based on a simple statistic to monitor process variance shifts. The sampling properties of the new monitoring statistic are explored. A numerical example of service times from a bank service system with a right skewed distribution is used to illustrate the proposed Variance Chart. A comparison with two existing charts is also performed. The Variance Chart showed better ability than those two charts in detecting shifts in the process variance.

Abstract: Industrial Ethernet is a fast-developing technology in automation control field. In this paper, the framework of industrial Ethernet measurement system, which consists of probe and parser, is analyzed. A new multi-channel probe of industrial Ethernet is proposed. It is suitable for low-cost distributed measurement applications. Two different working methods and architecture of FPGA internal blocks are illustrated in details. A dedicated frame called “probe-frame” is presented, which involves the information about original frame. At last, an open industrial Ethernet parser is mentioned to analyze the specific frame.
