Abstract: We present a fifth-order iterative method for the solution of nonlinear equation. The new method is based on the Noor's third-order method, which is a modified Householder method without second derivatives. Its efficiency index is 1.4953 which is better than that of Newton's method and Noor's method. Numerical results show the efficiency of the proposed method.

Abstract: With the application of the pessimistic decision-making method, we make our portfolio selection with the objective of “maximum loss minimization”. First, we develop a maximum ordinary loss minimization model and then we form a maximum mean excess loss minimization model on the basis of the CVaR risk measurement. On the basis of the two models, we put forward a new concept loss gap and define it. Last, we establish a maximum loss gap minimization model and discuss the relationship between it and the MV model.

In this paper, we shall use the elementary methods to study the mean value properties of ap(Pd(n)), and give an interesting asymptotic formula for it.

Abstract: To further improving the precision of harmonics measurement, a new interpolation FFT algorithm based on Rife–Vincent (I) window is provided in this paper. First the spectrum leakage of FFT briefly and the frequency response of the Class I Rife- Vincent window is discussed, and then paper analyzes the interpolation algorithm on Rife–Vincent (I) window in detail. At last the cubic spine function is adopted to calculate the frequency and the harmonic amplitude modification coefficient. An example of simulation is given, and simulative calculation results show that Rife–Vincent (I) window interpolation algorithm by using cubic spine function has the amplitude error less than 1×10-6 % , the frequency error less than 1×10-7Hz, and the phase error less than 0.0001%. Comparing with other cosine windows interpolation FFT algorithm, the new interpolation FFT algorithm based on Rife–Vincent (I) window has the highest accuracy.

The design have made SAR image target model base management system successfully within the platform of Visual Studio 2005 and have studied on the establishment method of SAR image target model base.

Abstract: In this research, we have verified whether spring-water spots have what it takes to be the core of the mutually supportive network. Based on this verification, we have evaluated whether spring-water spots can become the foundation of a mutually supportive network. The above-mentioned findings show us that elderly persons visit spring-water spots at their own initiative, and they can build better and cooperative relationships with other visitors. Therefore, it is highly probable that spring-water spots have sufficient qualities to serve as the core for a mutually-cooperative network.

Abstract: This paper develops teaching assessment model to resolve the complexity of quality evaluation process of teaching quality, with the structural characteristics and self-learning function of BP neural networks. The concept of teaching evaluation index is quantified to the determinate date as input, teaching effectiveness as output. Through MATLAB software used for the empirical research, it can be found that the method applied to evaluation of teaching quality, not only overcome the subjective factors in the evaluation process, but also receive satisfactory results, has a wide applicability.

Abstract: Text classification is the task of assigning natural language textual documents to predefined categories based on their context. The main concern in this paper is to improve the accuracy of text classification system combined an improved CHI method and category relevance factor. Firstly, use an improved CHI method to select features from the raw features aim to reduce the dimensions of the features. Secondly, through the TF-CRF method to calculate the feature weight, this method mainly consider that the features have different distributions in different categories. Finally, we carried out a series of experiments compared with other methods using the F1-measure. Experimental results show that our new method makes an important improvement in all categories.

Abstract: Abstract:Proposed a method of document image matching based on SIFT-Harris operator, Use of SIFT-Harris operator to accurately search match for the same name point. First use SIFT operator for the coarse search match to find out a rough affine transformation relationship of matched Image and based image, Then used the Harris operator and gray correlation matching algorithm refined search. It improved the matching speed and accuracy. Experimental results show that the method works well for document image matching.
