The study is focused mainly on the whole arrangement and main components configuration of Belt Conveyor, including driving device, conveyor belt, drum and rollers etc. With increasing demand for the long distance, large capacity belt conveyors, its designing and manufacturing level will be improved.

Abstract: This paper presents a variant of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) that we call the adaptive particle swarm optimization with dynamic population (DP-APSO), which adopts a novel dynamic population (DP) strategy whereby the population size of swarm can vary with the evolutionary process. The DP strategy enables the population size to increase when the swarm converges and decrease when the swarm disperses. Experiments were conducted on two well-studied constrained engineering design optimization problems. The results demonstrate better performance of the DP-APSO in solving these engineering design optimization problems when compared with two other evolutionary computation algorithms.

Abstract: This thesis mainly introduces the basic design process of ARM9 car-inserted GPRS terminal , which applied the Mini2440 inserted hardware platform and developed the new car-inserted GPRS terminal, based on ARM9 terminal. Its processor is ATRM9200T which has the function of ARM9 memory used in industry. It inputs the Linux operation system and uses GPRS communication network for wireless communication . This terminal enjoys high reliability and stability. The application procedure has great functionality and it is a cross-subject program with great prospect.

Abstract: Based on bayesian statistics theory and reliability-based optimization design, the research presents a new reliability-based optimization design approach that solves the form of finite test samples. In the article, the bayesian reliability-based optimization mathematical model is established and the bayesian reliability-based optimization approach of torsion bar is proposed. The method adopts a bayesian inference technique to estimate reliability, gives definition of bayesian reliability. The results illustrates the method presented is an efficient and practical reliability-based optimization approach of torsion bar.

Abstract: Safe escape in the fire disaster of high-rise buildings is a world-wide unsolved problem because of the complicated structure of the building and the huge amounts of resident. Nowadays the chute devices for escaping in high-rise building become important for collective escape, which is easy to use and runs at high speed without extra power. Rigid escape chutes and flexible escape chutes are introduced in this paper. The assembly of escape chutes and their disadvantages are discussed. For more function and more effective, a flexible multi-entrance escape chute with its store box is designed. This device offers a fire-proof, high temperature-proof and multi-entrance passage for collective escapes at the same time. Experiments of its prototype shows that this equipment can release escape chute in time, and bring evacuee more safety and escape efficiency.

Abstract: The specific time-area values describe the circulating ability of two-stroke engine ports during the gas exchange process, so they are the main parameters to affect the engine performances [1]. This paper establishes mathematical models of port parameters for symmetrically timing ports of two-stroke gasoline engine with carburetor and crankcase loop scavenging, the emphasis of analysis is specific time-area values of the ports. The mathematical models of specific time-area values which introduced in this paper give the initiative for further research on the numerical simulation and the optimal design of two-stroke engine.

Abstract: This paper aims to propose a new framework applying analytic network process (ANP) considering with three currently crucial perspectives; quality, environment and cost. At the same time of the ANP processes, a knowledge creation process and also knowledge evaluation method are considered for sustaining and measuring new emerging knowledge from proposed framework. This study provides a rational of this comprehensive framework and selected methods; those are ANP, eight quality dimensions of Garvin, life cycle costing (LCC), socialization, externalization, combination and internalization (SECI) model and Skandia model. All concerning methods are discussed and argued of their potential benefits and strengths delivering to the proposed framework.

Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency and quality of design of complex parts, cycloid gear, in the pin-cycloidal transmission, this paper used SolidWorks to built accurately cycloid gear 3d model, and the VBA to program procedure for the secondary development, realized the parametric design of cycloid gear. Designer just enter the design parameters of cycloid gear , then gain the accurately generated cycloid gear 3d model rapidly , greatly improving the speed of cycloid gear design.

Abstract: Facing the modularization of existing product variant design requirements, this paper presents a multi-scale modeling technology. Discuss the process of the change scope of the parts and modules according to the needs of the user, so divide the modular product model into process model, modules model and parts model. Use associated hypergraph describe the constraint relation between different stages of modular design process, the process model provides network basis for user needs mapping. Use the structured hypergraph to conduct formal description of parts and modules information and establish structured model; then fuse constraint information of the structure model based on the multi-scale data fusion technology, and provide constraint data source for changed coefficients of the components and modules. Finally, the case analysis shows the scientific and practical of the method.
