Abstract: Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) is an important unit of the equipments and products. Improving LRU planning can improve the characteristics of RMS of the products, especially on the maintainability and reducing life cycle service cost (LCSC). This paper studies the relationship between LRU planning and Product design, and builds the frame of LRU planning combined with RMS design rules and requirements. Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are adopted to analyze and evaluate the LRU planning synthetically. Analysis and evaluation process include three steps: qualitative analysis, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) quantitative analysis and LCSC quantitative analysis. The mothed in this paper can improve the status quo of traditional product design out of touch with the RMS design.

Abstract: A mathematic model of the grid-side PWM converter based on Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) has been investigated to analyze their operating characteristics. The control scheme to the grid-side PWM converter was presented. And the simulation model of the grid-side converter (GSC) based on DFIG energy generation system was built in Matlab / simulink software. The results show the feasibility and correctness of the control strategy.

Abstract: Since time immemorial, “language” has always been an important tool for conveying messages. Explorations on morphological language applied in visual design are namely researches on visual thinking and representation. Basic shapes of things can be transformed into component elements in visual design. By properly making use of component orders, the shapes will then effectively deliver information. In this paper, we are mainly to analyze how to select and illustrate shapes, how to perform formalized visual representation, how to figure out visual elements from natural shapes, man-made shapes and pure shapes, as well as the corresponding morphological rules used in visual design.

Abstract: The finite-element model of pure electric bus has been built and the free model analysis, displacement and stress analysis under bending condition and torsion condition have been conducted. Optimally design the pure electric bus frame based on multiple constrains. Reduce the body frame quality by 4.3% and meanwhile meet the modal and stress requirements.

Abstract: This paper presents an advanced low-cost temperature control system. The system takes the highest performance-cost ratio as its aim. It uses the low-cost 8-bit MCS-51 MCU and integrated temperature sensor to achieve the on-site control. A lower cost remote host computer can be used in this system. In the case of a relatively larger application, it can be expanded to a control system of master-slave distribution and utilize the computing and storage resources of the microcontroller. It realizes a wider range of temperature adjustment, and then put the state of the system into a database of the microcontroller to be ascertained later.

Abstract: By using gray theory model, the problem with less data and poor information is easy to be solved. Thus, the grey theory and the reliability assessment method were connected to analyze the mechanism motion. At first, the concept and model of mechanism’s grey movement reliability were presented. And then, from the limit state equations of a mechanism’s moving function and kinematic accuracy, the gray reliability calculation formulas were deduced. Finally, combined with two examples the method was applied to the actual reliability analysis. The results show that the method is feasible and efficient, so it is practical to apply the grey reliability model in mechanism reliability analysis.

Abstract: The hydropower station tunnel construction is crossover operation and environment is poor. Installation space and time are limited. The paper introduces corresponding measures and installation method.Through field investigation and vast demonstration, using electric hoist and little bridge machine in equipment assembly area can avoid the effect to power house equipment installation and reduce crossover operation time. Using installation platform on the little bridge in hydro-generator area can reduce the use of the little bridge machine and improve the installation efficiency .

Abstract: The design of Superstructure constructed with aluminum alloy do not have to follow the traditional standard design method. It can be designed by applying strength theory and ANSYS program or MSC Patran / Nastran program, which can ensure the strength requirements with the selected aluminum alloy components and make the weight of the ship lightest. In this paper, the 42.4m catamaran sightseeing boat is used as an example. The structural strength of the superstructure constructed with aluminum alloy is calculated by MSC Patran / Nastran program. The distribution of the superstructure stress is obtained, which proved the size of the selected components of the superstructure can meet the requirements of the local strength and can be the reference of selecting the structure size. As the other conditions are unchanged, the the local thickness of the junction of the front wall and the side wall of the compass deck is changed. the relationship between plate thickness and stress is obtained. It is found that as The plate thickness is thicker, the stress there decreases; and as the thickness is smaller, it is obvious to reduce stress as the plate thickness Increase. when the thickness increases to a certain extent, the effect of the plate stress decreases is not obvious.
