Abstract: The 21st century is the one in which knowledge innovation promotes economic development. Our country and society earnestly need a lot of talents who have the abilities of creation, innovation and pioneering. In order to meet the challenge of the times, it is highly necessary for colleges and universities to carry out the education to create, innovate and pioneer. Higher education should undertake the mission of training and improving college students’ such abilities so as to make good preparations for their future. In this paper, combined with the above situation, the authors analyze the characteristics of creating, innovating and pioneering talents, probe into the main points of the creative, innovative and pioneering education and put forward the concrete measures to foster such talents.

Abstract: This article mainly expounds that deepening of teaching reform in higher education and improvement of personnel training quality are important initiatives to strengthen the quality of higher education connotation construction, to improve students' practical and innovative ability, and to satisfy people in the new period. By being effectively consistent with social needs, mechanical major is more closely combined with mechanical engineering characteristics which meet the diverse demand of engineering talents. Cultivating project suitable to diversification of innovation talents is revised. Curriculum group and practical teaching system of creation and execution in parallel are established. We adhere to the people-centered notion and set ability training as the core, quality as the goal, the accumulation of knowledge as the basis to enhance the innovative ability of college students of mechanical engineering steadily.

Abstract: Based on the concept of the “engineering with a big e.”, takes the professional “wind energy and power engineering” as an example, this paper analyzes several main problems occurred in the process of engineering education and performs some exploration and practice of the applied talents cultivation respectively including the positioning of talent cultivation objective, the reformation of talent cultivation mode, the establishment of practice teaching system, the enhancement of teachers’ quality and t he obtainment of students’ self-study ability etc. which should provide the conference for the professional reformation and innovation. Also, points out that the future outstanding engineers must possess the “engineering with a big e.” and carries out the applied talents cultivation based on the concept should improve the talents quality and effect of engineering education and lay a foundation for cultivating the qualified even outstanding engineer.

Abstract: Employment quality is the core indicators of specialty or discipline about engineering education reform effectiveness.Evaluation indicators of specialty employment includes mainly employment rate,specialty matching rate, dimission rate.Specialty employment-quality index is presented, the article lists the mathematical expressions in order to facilitate application. Specialty employment-quality index is suitable for macroscopic evaluation of employment quality,but not suitable for microscopic evaluation such as student employment quality evaluation.

Abstract: In recent years, the higher education system of our country has had many positive changes, but on the whole, the higher education of our country, especially the engineering education is incommensurate with the needs of economic development, the technical personnel can not meet the requirements of modern enterprises. In this article, the engineering training strategy with engineering education is researched and reformed from making a scientific training plan to enhance the quality of the talent, improving the curriculum and optimize the course structure, setting the training courses of engineering capabilities, attaching importance to experimental teaching, and enhancing the practical training, expanding the content of practice, strengthening professional awareness, creating opportunities for extracurricular activities, strengthening practical teaching link, and so on.

Abstract: Engineering education has been a very important branch of Chinese national education and an indispensable part of Chinese national strategy aiming at enforcing the comprehensive national strength. By referring to the Tao, we attempt to argue that engineering education should proceed by its own nature, evolve through establishing certain harmonious relationships and maintain dynamic sources for its development and prosperity. The Tao is mysterious but it provides us a particular angle to consider and evaluate the nature and significance of engineering education. It relates to society, university, engineering students, etc. and unconsciously has effects upon its associated “beings”. Thus, we should know that in the globalized world, engineering education ought to make an adjustment in knowledge absorbing so as to realize the “knowledge recombination” from only academic studies to multiple participations of all required engineering communications.

Abstract: Cultivating students who have innovated abilities is not only an age requirement but also the focus of engineering education. In engineering education, according to the studies and practices for a very long time, this article establish "three-dimension" innovation talents development model which can improve students’ abilities of self-study and help them fit the society better after their graduation. The seven aspects are teaching method, learning approach, teaching material constructs, auxiliary answering strategy, teaching evaluation, students develop environment and innovation channels. “Three-dimensional” innovation talents development model is designed according to students’ character and their best innovation study result .And it can actually form a three-dimensional layered training model includes “General-form Teaching”, “Extensions Expand” and “Elites Cultivating”. The effect of the practice of "three-dimensional" innovation talents development model is very obvious.

Abstract: Originated in the US, WebQuest has been popularized all over the world and gradually integrated into the EFL education. This paper offers a analysis of the needs and benefits of integrating WebQuest approach into EFL teaching in China, and highlights the pratice of designing a project-based course based on WebQuest. It is intended to assist the EFL teachers in utilizing this accessible and low-cost technology to design and implement effective learning activities that meet the specific learning needs of English Language Learners.

Abstract: Researched on the training goal and requirement of agricultural engineering professional talents, the construction characteristics and features of agricultural engineering undergraduate specialty are analyzed based on the modern agricultural industry development. A construction plan of agriculture engineering specialty which interacts with industry is discussed from the curriculum system, teaching team and experiment teaching. Referenced the experience of international engineering specialty certification, the optimization approaches and measures of training mode for modern agricultural engineering professional talents are proposed from three aspects of education notion, teaching conditions and education process. The characteristics of three combinations which build agricultural engineering specialty training plan based on modern industry are concluded to guide the talents training scheme design and teaching implementation of agricultural mechanization and automation specialty.

Abstract: In our country, the training target and cultivation mode of mechanical engineering in universities seems to akin to each other. Besides that, undergraduate students have their own limitations in knowledge, cognitive performance and thinking model. Aiming at that fact, we have set up “an educational mode of multi-level cooperation to personalized cultivate mechanical engineers’ innovation quality” and implemented that effectively through a long time of research and exploration. Furthermore, we have gradually formed a comparative impeccable personalized educational mode in the aspects of training target, talents training scheme, course system, educational mode, teaching evaluation and then constructed a smooth personalized cultivation and management mechanism, personalized training level and teaching contents focusing on the whole progress of education, flexible teaching method and advanced teaching means, a high quality teaching team with composite construction, showing a unique individualized teaching style and personalized teaching quality. We have achieved obvious teaching benefits, educational benefits and social benefits on comprehensively prompting quality-oriented education, especially on the cultivation of ability of innovating, learning and practicing. All these efforts to improve the cultivation quality of innovative talents major in mechanical engineering at universities have been widely recognized by our society.
