Abstract: Based on the current of higher engineering education, analyzing the barriers of the development, pointing out the deficiencies of China's higher engineering education in the training mode, afterwards, concluding the higher engineering education reform is imperative. In order to solve the existing problems and response training requirements in higher engineering education, learning from the experience of overseas development, particularly American mode and German mode as example. “a body with two wings” new training model is proposed. Moreover, it can solve the contradiction effectively. The mode can be applied to and will bring practical guiding significance for the development of higher engineering education. It can provide some reference value for higher engineering education reform meanwhile.

Abstract: A truly qualified mechatronics talents must organically combine the mechanical knowledge and electronic technology, computer technology and information technology together with a comprehensive and integrated manner to consider electromechanical integration problems, and design mechatronics products. Aiming at solving the problems that mechatronics talents cultivation lack experiences and involve the two fields: mechanics and electronics, in this paper, based on the development of local economic, the knowledge and ability structure requirements for mechatronics talent was expounded, and curriculum, teaching contents and methods etc. were systematically integrated, the structure tree of curricula and practical link were constructed, meanwhile training model of the mechatronics professionals was discussed.

Abstract: With the coming of the popularity of higher education, it is more and more difficulty for college students to find good jobs now. It has become the new tendency of the development and reform of our country’s higher education to carry out college students’ pioneering education, which is to train and improve their existing ability. In a broad sense, it refers to fostering the pioneering people who have pioneering spirit, pioneering ability, the ability to work independently and technical, social and management skills. In this paper, combined with the above situation, the authors analyze the current situation of our country’s college students’ pioneering undertaking , expound the importance of pioneering education and put forward the concrete measures to carry it out.

Abstract: This paper describes the basic concepts of engineering education model-CDIO. Then referring to the CDIO teaching philosophy, take the practice teaching reform about machine design as an example, coordinated development of student-centered knowledge, capability and diathesis serves as the guiding ideology. This combines knowledge impartment and capability cultivation together. Development of the machine design practice teaching project based on CDIO engineering education model are put forward, while requirements involved in the practice project are expounded as well as works in each stage. Additionally, the practice project broke the traditional instruction model with roles of students and teachers changed significantly. Precisely, students are demanded to design and accomplish tasks in the project independently to turn the traditional passive education mode to a self-innovation, excogitation and implementation mode. Thus, engineering and technical personnel, who are needed by modern corporations and possess professional skills, social awareness, and entrepreneur sensitivity, are cultivated for Chinese future development.

Abstract: To find the main problems existed in applied undergraduate engineering graduation project, educational philosophy, teaching and study style, and teaching management have all been analyzed. In the philosophy of education, good relationship should be established between education and popular education, general education and fine professional, education and learning, and study and employment. Then the graduation project management should be strengthened, the process management and quality management should also be firmed, and the evaluation of graduation design quality should be evaluated objectively, fair and impartial. And at last, teachers' moral, the teaching culture, the learning culture and some other favorable atmosphere should be constructed. By these methods, the enthusiasm and initiative of teachers and students can be stimulated conscientiously, so that there will be integrity and pragmatic in the study course. And finally, graduation design quality will be improved certainly in applied undergraduate institute.

Abstract: Syllabus is not only a programmatic document of guiding the teaching, organizing teach, develop lesson plans, writing the main basis of the teaching materials and teaching quality inspection, but also an important part of the course building and course evaluation, which plays an important role in talent training, in the meanwhile, which determines teaching management work whether successfully or not. It was necessary to know the questions existing in syllabus, analysis the cause of the questions and proposed corresponding solving ways so as to a reference of syllabus.

Abstract: Experimental teaching is an important part of higher education. It has an effect that cannot be replaced on training innovative talents. The experimental teaching reform must be carried out to really realize the cultivation of innovative talents. This paper introduces the basic concepts of CDIO, and analyzes the deficiency of the traditional experimental teaching based on CDIO engineering theory. Teaching method, teaching patterns and so on is carried on the beneficial discussion and in practice. Some reform measures are put forward. Good teaching effect is obtained. The students' learning enthusiasm and innovation practice ability is greatly enhanced.

Abstract: Interchangeability and Technology Measurement is an important basic course for machinery majors. This article is based on the demands of cultivation objectives of excellence program, combining the course’s characteristics and years of teaching experiences, analysis of teaching contents optimizing, teaching methods reforming and experimental organizing is investigated. The innovations include the following aspects. Firstly, the teaching content has been optimized and the relation to other courses have been emphasized.Then the teaching method has been improved to inhance students‘ enthusiasm. And at last the link with experimental teaching has been strengthened to improve students‘ innovation ability. As practice shows, the program has significance in improving the teaching quality and students’ engineering and innovation ability.

Abstract: Engineering education is the main way to train the talents for the society. But, at present, the engineering education in our country exist many questions, such as, the concept of engineering education needs to be improved, the target of engineering education is not clear, the curriculum system is behind, teachers are lack of the experience and ability of engineering practice, and so no. In this article, some proposals have been put forward to accelerate the higher engineering education reform in the aspects of the theory into engineering education, such as, take the engineering education concepts into the basic education, optimize curriculum system, improve the teachers' ability of engineering practice, strengthen the system of continuing education for engineering technology personnel, and so on.

Abstract: Effective foreign language education assessment is an issue worthy of exploring. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to facilitate quality language education via the application of e-portfolios as an alternative language assessment tool. After the reserch on e-portfolios and portforlio assessment, several strategies for designing e-portfolio language assessment system are put forward, with the expectation that language learners will become life-long, innovative language users.
