Abstract: Bluetooth is a low power, short range and promising wireless technology but has limited resources, and encounter the interference from other wireless systems and other Bluetooth piconets. As a flexible, efficient and reliable spectrum access by adapting the radio’s operating characteristics to the real-time conditions of the environment, cognitive radio technology is apply in Bluetooth network. This paper discussed the interference and the coexistence mechanism of Bluetooth network, and analysis the necessity of CR application in Bluetooth. Moreover, a cognitive frequency hopping (CFH) scheme is described, and for resolve multi-relays problem a cognitive relay selection method based on channel quality detection is proposed.

Abstract: Due to business expansion and increased market competition, Tianfu thermoelectric original electric gas marketing system can no longer meet the needs of enterprise development which lead to information islands. In response to these issues, based on the business needs, this paper constructed a marketing network management system platform integrated with electricity, heat and gas for the thermal power enterprises. This system includes: 1) Establishment of enterprise data center and centralized storage of the business system data. 2) Establishment of enterprise portal system for achievement of single sign-on. 3) Establishment of power energy information collection and management system of the power purchase, supply and sale departments. 4) Establishment of "all-in-one-card" system including electricity, heat and gas IC card. 5) Creation of a marketing analysis and strategic decision-making system. The system platform can offer efficient and reliable basis for business processing capabilities to electricity, heat, and gas marketing business.

Abstract: The incomplete traffic data in urban road networks greatly affect the quality and performance of traffic information platform. The importance of effectively imputing the missing values emerges. The paper introduces a three-layer feed-forward neural network to missing traffic index prediction, where the group search optimization (GSO) is proposed to optimize the connection weights and thresholds to solve the problem of falling into the local optima. It is the first time to apply the technique to missing data imputation. Simulations are presented to demonstrate the accuracies and effectiveness of the proposed methodologies. This reveals that it is a promising approach in missing data prediction.

Abstract: Traditional iris recognition systems transfer iris images to polar coordinates, normalize the images and achieve rotation invariance by rotating the feature vector. In order to decrease the complexity of the typical iris recognition method, we propose a new method of iris recognition based on global and local model that are extracted from preprocessed iris image without normalizing. Firstly, we applied a bank of no-tensor product wavelet filters to extract the global features of the iris. Secondly, we used a SIFT method to extract the local features points of the selected regions. Finally, we tested the similarity distances of local and global features with different weights. Experimental results show that the proposed method in this paper has the recognition accuracy of 99.5% when the equal error rate is 0.94%. Without normalizing the iris images, the proposed approach can obtain very good recognition performance.

Abstract: Segmenting the non-ideal iris images accurately is a main problem for iris recognition, due to the impact of the eyelids, eyelashes and deformation. The paper presents an iris segmentation method based on an improved level set. Firstly, we used gray projection algorithm to locate the pupil. Secondly, we applied the least square fitting algorithm to estimate the boundary between the pupil and the iris. Finally, we used the level set method to accurately segment the iris. Experimental results demonstrate the segmentation accuracy for outer boundary of the iris is 98.59%. The method presented in this paper is superior to Daugman method and Hough transform algorithm in iris segmentation, especially for non-ideal iris images.

Abstract: This paper presents the design of mixed H∞/H2Output Feedback Controller for Independent Drive Electric Vehicle Stability Control. It generates yaw moment by applying driving intervention at front Independent driving wheels according to the vehicle states. The performance of the proposed controller is evaluated through a series of simulations under different velocity and different mass. The simulation results show that the controller can help vehicle against a certain range of uncertainty (speeds and loads) and get excellent robust performance.

Abstract: Mach-Zehnder interferometer formed by a pair of long period fiber gratings on single mode fiber is investigated as surrounding refractive index sensors. Interference fringes with bandwidth of 1.68 nm are induced by core mode and the excited cladding mode. High SRI sensitivity of 280.74 nm/RIU at 1437.74 nm in the range of 1.333 to 1.360 is achieved. Whilst the strain sensitivity (~0.33 nm/mε) and temperature response (~20.7 pm/°C) at 1428.64 nm are relatively low, which is superior in avoiding cross sensitivity in refractive index measurement.

Abstract: In a competitive and globalized business environment, the need for the sustainable product development becomes stronger. To meet these trends, the total cost during the product life cycle, called life cycle cost (LCC), should be considered as an important factor in new product development. In this paper, a hybrid life cycle cost model (HLCCM) is developed as a hybrid life cycle cost system (HLCCS) to estimate the cost performance of product design alternatives. It aims at improving the cost performance of products using genetic algorithms and artificial neural networks which consist of high-level product attributes and LCC results. The framework incorporated HLCCM is proposed in cloud computing based collaborative design environment and allows users to estimate the product data and other related information on a wide variety of application. This paper presents approximate LCC estimation of product design alternatives represented by solid models in cloud computing based collaborative design environment.

Abstract: According to the situation that the transistor output interface type of PLC output current is too small to meet requirements of high-speed, frequently on or off electromagnetic valve and other great current load drives, a current driver amplifier was developed which connected PLC output interface and load. Its key realization technologies include signal acquisition input, bidirectional conducting, input and output display, and designs of isolation circuit of input and output and output amplification processing circuit. The device uses bidirectional optocoupler and bidirectional LED to gather small DC current signal which does not distinguish between positive and negative polarities and achieve photoelectric isolation, controls drive load work of MOS transistor conducting and achieves current amplification through amplification driver link of emitter output, and has high frequently on-off operation, simple wiring, great drive current, strong versatility, high reliability and other characteristics.

Abstract: The examination of temperature sensor is a complicated process. Generally speaking that the examination is done by manual. But the manual detection has its disadvantages, such as connection trifles, inefficient and so on. In order to solve above disadvantages, this paper introduces a design of automatic detection system for temperature sensor based on virtual instrument. It elaborates the choice of hardware and the design of software. The system is mainly aimed at temperature sensor for resistance and insulation detection. Then we can determine whether the main parameters of temperature sensor are up to standard or not. The system realizes the automation of detection process. In the practical application, it has achieved better effect. In addition, this system can be used by other sensor detection when it has been part of the modification. So it has wide application range and higher practicability.
