Abstract: Due to the complex relations among the various factors, the nonlinear calculation of aircraft fuel consumption is very difficult. The purpose of this paper is to present a simplified method to estimate aircraft fuel consumption using a novel particle swarm neural network. Fuel consumption information obtained directly from QAR recorded flight data is trained by the neural network. The method can avoid the high cost of flight testing and wind tunnel testing. An improved particle swarm optimization algorithm embeds neural network topology to replace the network BP learning algorithm. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method integrates a new particle swarm neural network system, and significantly improves the system's learning ability and prediction of evolutionary effects.

Abstract: Rear-end collisions of low speed vehicles on the urban road are common accident scenarios. A judgment of safety distance is a crucial part of a rear-end collision avoidance system which relies on safety distance model. In order to solve the problems of traditional safety distance models, this paper proposes a new model to avoid rear-end collisions. The new model considers the braking performance of the host vehicle and the motion state of the heading vehicle. Then a rear-end collision avoidance system including the new model is established using a combination of CarSim with Simulink software. Three typical working conditions through the co-simulation is simulated for verifying the model. Simulation results show that the new model ensures rear-end collision can be avoided, meanwhile keeping a short relative distance that improves road efficiency.

Abstract: This paper firstly points out the concept of the Motorway Service Area. With the features it included being analyzed, a reasonable index system of Motorway Service Area is being set up. Then the TOPSIS-Entropy analysis model is presented. For this part, entropy method is used for empowering the evaluation indicators of business model, thus the business model is evaluated and sorted. Finally, an example verifies the validity and applicability of the model.

Abstract: This paper presents a multi-objective genetic algorithm to solve the U-shaped assembly line balancing problem. The performance criteria for the number of workstations and the variation of workload are considered. The results of experiments show that the proposed model produced as good or even better line efficiency of workstation integration and improved the variation of workload.

Abstract: This paper makes the operational capability of enterprise production planning system as the research object, in which the four operation modules access to information, scheduling, report processing, system tools are analysised in failure mode. Frequency analysis and entropy method are applied to determine the weight of factors of subordinate operation module, and evaluation matrix is applied to determine the operation ability level. The results of the weighting analysis in a large manufacturing group 8 regional branch 2011 annual production planning system operation module, it finds out the key influence factors of subordinate operation module, which can provide the reference for enterprise to promote production planning system operational ability .

Abstract: Design for enterprise asset management (EAM) evaluation system of power generation enterprises based on key performance indicator (KPI) is proposed according to application of enterprise asset management system in power generation enterprises. KPIs preparations for implementation, goals and design principles are discussed. KPI-based EAM indicators of power generation enterprises are divided into operation management indicators, maintenance management indicators and materials management indicators in three parts. Finally benchmarking management analysis, comparative analysis of time trends and horizontal comparative analysis are used to analyze and evaluate the indicators.

Abstract: The charge plan is a basic problem of the metallurgical industry. Through a comprehensive consideration of the process constraints and production costs, charge plan is a typical multi-objective optimization problem. A multi-objective optimization model of charge plan was built in this paper. As direct encoding is hard to be used in the many constraints problem case, a new method of generate feasible solutions based on constraint satisfaction was proposed. A novel adaptive grid algorithm was also proposed to improve the current multi-objective evolutionary algorithm’s population maintain strategy. Finally, the proposed multi-objective charge plan model was solved, and more meaningful solutions for this problem were obtained.

Abstract: Spare parts are a kind of protective materials for normal equipment maintenance and emergency treatment. Effective management of spare parts can not only guarantee the continuity and safety of production, but also improve the productivity. Firstly, the paper summarized the characteristics of spare parts and current problems existing in their management. Then it established the collaborative management model of spare parts around procurement management and inventory management of spare parts. Finally, the paper proposed the operation mode of collaborative management based on e-marketplaces – the third-party e-marketplace. Furthermore, there provided the functions and operation process of the third-party e-marketplace. Third-party e-marketplaces can realize the collaborative management of procurement and inventory through integrating members of the company alliance in horizon and associating suppliers with purchasers in vertical.

Abstract: Being two promotion forms on online markets, brand and channel contend each other which could influence capacity decisions of the manufacturers. Here the leader manufacturers role becomes complicated who keeps owning a weakest traditional retailer and competing on online markets at the same time. Focusing on brand promotion effect, the paper finds out supply chain partners optimal decisions. The focus of numerical analysis is that how the leader manufacturers brand and channel promotion effects affect three partners optimal revenues, optimal prices, especially to the leader manufacturers capacity decisions. Meanwhile, some interesting managerial inspiration could be carried out.
