Abstract: In this paper, we propose a new type of threshold proxy signature scheme: hybrid threshold proxy signature (HTPS), in which a signature is cooperatively generated by the partial original signers themselves and the proxy signers on behalf of their own original signer in threshold proxy way. We formalize the notion of security for hybrid threshold proxy signature scheme and prove our schemes security, such as, distinguishability, verifiability, strong unforgeability, strong nonrepudiation, etc.

Abstract: In order to improve the control accuracy of the coiling temperature of strip in the laminar cooling process when working condition is varying, an intelligent setting method of the cooling water volume is researched in this paper. The strip coiling temperature mechanism model is built firstly. Secondly, the key model parameters are identified with case-based reasoning (CBR) technology to improve the model accuracy. Lastly, the cooling water volume setting method based the model is proposed where disturbance input method is applied. The simulation result showed that the proposed method can improve the strip coiling temperature accuracy when the operation condition is changing. The strip coiling temperature accuracy can be improved due to the CBR technology which can adjust the key model parameters according to the varying operation condition. So, the setting values based the improved model are adjusted with the changing working condition, with self-adaptive ability.

Abstract: Mobile operating systems (e.g., iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, etc) are becoming powerful platforms on which various applications can be installed and run. Each mobile OS offers application store (e.g., Apple App Store, Android Play, etc) for developers to easily publish applications and earn profits. However, existing mobile platforms provide little means for mobile users to evaluate risks on allowing certain security permissions when installing mobile applications. Since mobile users may not be able to justify the risks on allowing certain permissions required by an application, mobile users may install malware with extra permissions, which leads to security risk for mobile users, e.g., private information leaked, etc. In this paper, we present process and visual User Interface for mobile users to understand and justify the risks on permissions required by mobile applications during installation. We also present two algorithms for calculating the risks.

Abstract: Temperature and humidity independent control can be made by a new dry-type air-conditioning system, the combination of silica gel rotor and heat pump. Heat pump cycle can simultaneously cool the process air and heat the regeneration air, so it can cancel each other out in the cold and heat energy consumption within the system. This novel form of system not only solves the regeneration energy issues fundamentally but also avoids energy waste by reheating in conventional cooling dehumidification air-conditioning system. Based on the establishment of the component model, MATLAB program has been compiled to simulate the combined system running at nominal operating conditions and calculate the performance parameters and energy efficiency. Comparison of the energy efficiency was made of this dry-type air-conditioning system with ones of other regeneration desiccant wheel air conditioning system and conventional cooling dehumidification air-conditioning system, the results of which show that the new dry-type system provided regeneration energy, overcomes the restriction from climate, region and using conditions of other regeneration. Moreover, compared with conventional re-heat air-conditioning system, its energy saving is up to 35.1% and the energy efficiency is increased by 38.1%.

Abstract: Due to incredibly advancing technology and reduced manning levels in the maritime industry there is now a cultural shift in the maritime industry toward increased levels of automation in tasks, particularly with regard to navigation systems. But there are two sides to the automation advances. Increasing automation causes the loss of situation awareness, which can significantly affect performance in abnormal, time-critical circumstances. This paper presents an overview of the application of automation in marine system and its impact to the systems performance.

Abstract: Study of traditional assist characteristic cure does not take into account the difference of steering resistance torque caused by different road adhesion coefficient. Vehicle dynamics analysis model is established based on ADAMS/CAR. Simulation of steering wheel torque is realized under different road conditions. Departure from the ideal boost characteristics requirements and combined with ideal steering wheel torque under different speed and lateral acceleration., the article built assist characteristic curve under a certain road conditions. The system can real-time select the assist characteristic curve through identifying the vehicle traveling road conditions by the way of BP neural network. The theory provided a feasible method for the improvement of the EPS system performance.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose the combination of two visual features with the Gabor filters and LBP for music genre classification. In addition, we use combined classifiers training and testing data to reach a final decision. The experiment shows that we not only reduce the amount of time extracting features, but also achieve a satisfactory result.

Abstract: This paper proposes a recognition method for Chinese Noun Phrase based on word co-occurrence directed graph. An input document is firstly scanned in which noun word string is retrieved. Atomic word table and word co-occurrence directed graph is then generated according to the word strings. A search is performed on the graph to find the longest paths with priority weight satisfying certain criteria. The word strings corresponding to the paths are considered as noun phrases. As dimensionality reduction is applied, the scale of the word co-occurrence directed graph is reduced significantly, and thus the efficiency of the algorithm is improved. Experimental results demonstrate that the precision of noun phrase recognition reaches 95.4%.

Abstract: The irreversibility of ferroelectric phase transitions has been studied by using the irreversible thermodynamics. The thermal hysteresis of first-order ferroelectric phase transitions and the polydomain structure of ferroelectrics can be explained on the basis of the principle of minimum entropy production. A conclusion has been derived that the thermal hysteresis is not an intrinsic property of a system in which a first-order ferroelectric phase transition occurs. The finiteness of the systems surface is connected with the thermal hysteresis.

Abstract: On the basis of Nagel-Schreckenberg model, this paper presents a modified fuzzy cellular automaton model for one-lane highway traffic. An interval type-2 fuzzy logic system is designed to evaluate the randomization parameter of a vehicle based on the spatial headway and speed difference. Some basic qualitative results and the fundamental diagram of our new model are got through computer numerical simulations. The experimental results show that our new model is able to reproduce some of the real macroscopic traffic characteristics such as stop-and-go waves, hysteresis and metastability phenomena.
