Abstract: This paper put forward a new methodology of side impact sled test that separated an indoor panel into several parts and parameterized every parts speed curve getting from full scale side MDB impact test and reconstructed every parts motion using parametric speed curve in MADYMO. The advantage of this methodology is that the model validation is simplified and all side dummys injury values according to side impact sled test are very coincident with that according to full scale side MDB impact test.

Abstract: Ship model test in ice towing tank is one of the key technologies for the design of ice-strengthened ship, and is the primary measure of determining the ship required minimum engine output power in ice navigation and checking whether satisfies the requirements of ice class rules. Researched the relevant requirements of 1A ice-strengthened ship based on the Finnish-Swedish ice class rules (FSICR), which is minimum engine output power according to the forward form of hull line and according to standard formulas. Studied the technical requirements of ice model test. Determined the minimum engine output power for 110k oil tanker with ice class 1A based on ice model test.

Abstract: This paper aimed at the evaluation of layout dependence on ESD/LU reliabilities in the 0.35μm 3.3V low-voltage triggered silicon-controlled-rectifier (LVTSCR) DUTs. In this work, the parameter of channel L in a pMOS and the parameter S of an SCR are varied to study the influence on trigger voltage (Vt1), holding voltage (Vh) and secondary breakdown current (It2), respectively. Eventually, it can be found that the layout illustration of type-2 has a higher It2 than that of type-1, i.e., the ratio of (It2)type-2/(It2)type-1 > 3 among all the LVTpSCRs. Meanwhile, the holding voltage of all SCR devices are latch-up free while operated at 3.3V. Therefore, the type-2 layouts of SCR devices are so excellent structure in the ESD/LU reliability considerations for this 0.35μm 3.3V CMOS process.

Abstract: Through the analysis of the sealing mechanism of the oil seals in exhaust gas turbo supercharger and the comparative test of different oil seals with the pressure change in the oil-return chamber, a seal that uses a caulking ring with reverse threads is designed, and an optimum combination of oil seal is selected. The combination of caulking ring and the oil-return thread structure has better complementary action on oil sealing, because for the seal with oil-return reverse thread there is better dynamic and static seal effect on ring seal and has good sealing performance and high reliability at high speed. The test results of screening selection of combination seals show that different combinations of caulking ring and the oil-return threads have great influence on the pressure of the oil-return chamber. The combination of caulking ring outside and oil-return threads inside is recommended to be used. In addition, the smooth return of the oil can be ensured as far as possible by increasing the supercharger oil-return chamber volume. The improved structure of the oil seal has effectively enhanced the reliability of the whole unit of the exhaust gas turbo supercharger.

Abstract: Based on the evolution analysis of Yaojian waterway, it is deemed that in a long period of time, the mainstream will stabilize in Wugui Folder, and that there will be no regulation conditions for making Jianli Left Branch the main branch and main channel. But if we continue to drag on, the river regime, channel, port and the local economy will be adversely affected. This article proposed a conception of regulation works with Wugui Folder as the main branch and main channel. Moreover, it also put forward the detailed regulation scheme for this waterway, including the overall regulation scheme and the first-stage regulation scheme, thus clearly pointing out the direction for the comprehensive treatment of Yaojian waterway.

Abstract: A set of fuel supply system, in place of the carburetor, based on ultrasonic atomization is designed. The fuel for the new system which is atomized into micron grade fog grain with ultrasonic system, increases the fuel and air mixing contact area, make the fuel mix more uniform. The experimental results shows that the HC and CO conce-ntration in tail gas of new system has significantly lower,and CO2 is increased, which demonstrates the fuel burning more fully, achieve the effect of energy saving and emission reduction. The cost is quite to carburetor type.

Abstract: Using long tailrace channel to navigate is a complex development way which has a common channel for navigation and tailrace. It is gradually tried to use in the Angu hydropower station and Shawan hydropower station of the Dahu River. So the flow and sediment movements are the key and decisive factors for navigation safety. Some achievements have been obtained about the influence of unsteady flow to navigation in tailrace channel. But it is very few to study that of sediment movement. Use the Angu hydropower station as an example, sediment movement is studied in long tailrace channel. Firstly, sediment sources are analyzed by measured data. Secondly, a two-dimensional sediment model and the experience formula are also used to simulate the transport of sediments. The transports of suspended load and bed load are studied with different operation of the hydropower station. Finally, with the typical series of 20 years, which includes high flow year, mean flow year and low flow year, riverbed deformation is predicted in the mooring area, the tailrace channel and its outlet. And the effect on navigation is analyzed. The results show that sediment sources are dominated by the local sediment. The deposition in the tailrace channel is not large and has little influence to navigation safety. A small amount of dredging can meet the needs of maintenance. The research results are helpful to the design and operation of long tailrace channel.
