Abstract: Based on the SDNS cellular automaton (CA) traffic model, an improved single lane traffic CA model with considering the urged acceleration and safe deceleration was proposed. The model not only simulated the interaction between vehicles, but also reproduced nonlinear phenomena which tallies with real traffic such as the synchronism flow and the metastable state. The time-space diagram of new model shows a gray synchronous band zone rather than that black blocking band zone. The range of synchronization is smaller when ps is bigger, urging has less function, congestion area is wider. Comparing with SDNS model, with the proposed model in this paper, when emerging congestion, the combined action of urging and safe deceleration enabled system self-adjustment so that efficiently mitigated congestion.

Abstract: Recently, switching regulator clock rate and transition time have become faster, making diode turn-on time a critical issue. A potential difficulty due to diode turn-on time is that the resultant transitory overshoot voltage across the diode, even when restricted to nanoseconds, can induce overvoltage stress, causing switching regulator IC failure. This paper provides a testing methology enabling proper diode selection for switching regulators.

Abstract: At present there are few studies on the AVS and SEM in sediments of Chaohu Lake. Most of the previous studies on heavy metals based on the one time, the short-time or a local-scale survey. In this paper, [AVS] and [SEM] in Chaohu Lake surface sediments were studied for different seasons in 2007, 2008 and 2009. The results showed that: (a) The three-year average of [AV and [ΣSE in surface sediments of Chaohu Lake is 4.2μmolg-1 and 2.31μmolg-1, respectively. The maximum of [AV appears on spot 5 (14.845μmolg-1) in summer while the minimum appears on spot 9 (0.13μmolg-1) in winter. (b) In spot 5 which near the estuary of Yuxi River, three-year average of [SE was the maximum (5.81μmolg-1), and the minimum of [ΣSE (0.07μmolg-1) appears on spot 8 which locates in the middle of Chaohu Lake. In spot 13 the [ΣSEM]-[AVS]=3.2>2 and [ΣSEM]/[AVS]=4.45>2.34 indicate that heavy metal contaminants from Hefei city have threatened the biosafety of Chaohu Lake. (c) The spatial autocorrelation of SEMCd is weak, which indicates that spatial distribution of SEMCd is determined by anthropogenic factors rather than sediments' own attribute. Chaohu Lake has been heavily polluted by Cd from no-point source and electronic electroplating industry.

Abstract: The potential of using the waste from simultaneous NOx and SO2 purification bio-trickling process to leach copper ore and to make fertilizer was investigated. It was found there were two main exhausted by-products in the purification process: the acidic liquid in desulfurization tower and the alkalescent liquid in denitrogenation tower. Through operation of leaching the oxide ore sample containing 2.58% copper by the acidic liquid, the effective grade of the metal to be extracted reached 28.37% by weight. With adding proportional dose of ammonia into the alkalescent liquid or the acidic liquid and going through evaporation and concentration, crystal products of ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate were generated, which can be used in fertilizer manufacturing.

Abstract: Using the orthogonal grid processing complex boundary problem, in environmental fluid dynamics model is established based on the Yangtze River Basin in Yangluo, Wuhan channel flow model. in the region to build the port of Yangluo in Wuhan before and after the construction of the water flow numerical simulation, and combining the simulation results puts forward the retionalization proposal. Abstract: According to the analysis results of phytoplankton collected after July 2007, the dominant population is chlorella or cyclotella, and cell density of phytoplankton and content of chlorophyll-a are different as seasonal change. In 2007, reservoir water is classified as light eutrophic. Later degree of eutrophication declines and water quality become better. The occurence of eutrophication is promoted by something including much of nitrogen and phosphorus from upstream water, suitable temperature and illumination. Controlling nitrogen and phosphorus sources and strengthening artificially biologic chain are adopted to prevent eutrophication. Obvious effect has being achieved in recent years.

Abstract: The results showed that DOC, UV254 and SUVA all presented a characteristic that organics was mainly concentrated on molecular weight <1kDa.Except organics with molecular weight <1kDa, the molecular weight of organics in Influent and effluent of Hydrolytic Acidification respectively distributed in the range of <1kDa, 30~100kDa and 1~3kDa, 10~30kDa. Organics in effluent of Anaerobic, Aerobic, Secondary sedimentation tank and Contact oxidation occupied proportions in all ranges of molecular weight distribution but relatively lower.

Abstract: In this study, the adsorption of Cu2+ and Cd2+ in wastewater by modified bentonite was investigated. The effect of adsorption adsorbent dosage, pH, time and temperature conditions, etc. on the adsorption was also studied. The results showed that adsorption of Cu2+ and Cd2+ in wastewater by modified bentonite increased with the increase of the adsorbent. When dosing quantity was 0.6g, the adsorption rate on Cu2+ and Cd2+ can reach respectively 92.4% and 87.3%. In 30 minutes, the adsorption rate on Cu2+ and Cd2+ can achieve above 93.3% and above 91.8% respectively closing to adsorption balance. When pH of the system is between 6-7, adsorption is to equal balance, the adsorption rate on Cu2+ and Cd2+ can reach above 92%. When the temperature is 30°C, absorption rate on Cu2+ and Cd2+ in wastewater by modified bentonite is 93.6% and 91.8%, the adsorption effect is the best.

Abstract: Continuous flow anaerobic fermentation experiments of fruit and vegetable waste were carried out in four laboratory-scale anaerobic acidification reactors with pH controlling system. The organic loading rate (OLR) were 13, 20, 30 kg COD/m3 d gradually and a hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 3 days were constantly. The results, obtained from the three stages operation, showed that hydrolysis rate increased along with the rising of OLR, to the highest of 79.3%, and acidification rate decreased on the contrary, showing that the activity of acidification bacteria was inhibited by high OLR. High pH value contributed to the process of hydrolysis and acidification especially under high OLR in the acidogenic phase of the fruit and vegetable waste.
