Abstract: In response to the situation that social development was seriously lagging behind economic development, China began implementing national sustainable communities (CNSCs) from 1986. The goal is to achieve the simultaneous development of life, production and environment, and achieve the synchronous growth of economic effect, biologic effect and social effect. To date, China has built 120 national sustainable communities, involving regions of different development levels and development conditions in the east, center and west parts of China. Successful experiences are analyzed systematically, including updated development concept, technology-driven, scientific planning program, public participation and social promotion. Some key problems are encountered, such as uneven distribution of resources and the geographical conditions, and administrative region boundary segmentation which affect CNSCs development, complexity and accumulation of resources and environmental problems.

Abstract: This paper has introduced the TOD mode into the optimization design of all levels of urban public transport hubs, and probed TOD mode that effectively combines land use and urban public transport hubs. A TOD planning model for the land use of urban public transport hub was built by means of a multiple objective mathematical programming model. Four objectives were considered: to increase the express public transport capacity, to improve the environment of the planned region, to maximize the returns on investment, to ensure the balance of mixed land use. The model can be used for designing the rate of public transport hub area. The Shisheng public station area in Wuhan is chosen as case study to illustrate the model application and planning results. The result indicates that the model would be efficient in practice.

Abstract: The effective measure of the disorder in a traffic flow has a great significance to improve the traffic condition and reduce the negative impact on environment caused by traffic jams. Since the traffic one-dimension entropy cannot reflect the spatial distribution characteristics, this paper proposed and defined traffic two-dimension entropy that reflected the statistical information of vehicle types and spatial distribution. In order to reflect the actual condition of a road, the weight of space around a vehicle was used in the simulation. The simulation results showed that: traffic two-dimension entropy to quantify and describe the disorder in traffic flow is reasonable and effective.

Abstract: In response to the phenomenon that urban and rural residents travel in short supply caused by rapid economic development, expanded the integration of urban and rural bus line site layout study. Firstly, analyzed the factors that affect the integration of urban and rural bus line site layout. Secondly, used operations research and mathematical methods to site layout model. Finally, taking a brief introduction of the steps that using the genetic algorithm to solve this model. The result shows that the model can solve some of the problems in the integration of urban and rural bus to make some contributions to the integration of urban and rural bus.

Abstract: Resource-based cities in China are numerous, special urban formation mechanism and industrial structure make the resource-based cities to present unique urban spatial structure. Taking Pingdingshan (coal resource-based city) as an example, this article puts forward the corresponding spatial structure optimization strategy for the city's transformation and sustainable development by researching the city's spatial structure evolution, development characteristics and existing problems, and hopes to provide the experience of space structure adjustment and optimization for the similar resource-based cities, and then promotes the implementation of the resource-based cities' transformation and sustainable development in China.

Abstract: The industrial transformation of old industrial cities is attributed to the result of the mutual effect of two important elements which contain social macroeconomic policies and economic stimulus. Macro social policy is the fundamental reason, which determines the inevitability of industrial transformative occurrence and development. Economic stimulus is a direct factor, which is also a direct cause induced transformation. The two elements interact and promote each other to form the industrial transformation mechanism.

Study on the Land Use/Cover Changes of Mangrove Reserve of Shenzhen Bay Based on Remote Sensing Date
Abstract: This study used the remote sensing data of the mangrove reserve of Shenzhen bay in five different times (including 1986, 1993, 2000, 2008 and 2012), extracted the characteristics of land use/cover and got the area data of different land use types. Comprehensive data analysis showed that: in the past 30 years the total area of the mangrove reserve of Shenzhen bay did not change, but the area of different land use types have been changing, where mangroves and terrestrial vegetation expanded year by year, increased by 37.49 hm2 and 34.59 hm2 respectively; waters and surrounded ponds shrinked by 35.33 hm2 and 35.80 hm2, respectively; buildings and bare land changed little. The single speeds of five land types (mangrove, waters, surrounded ponds, terrestrial vegetation and buildings and bare land) is 2.7%, -0.63%, -1.72%, 10.47% and 0.75%, respectively; The comprehensive land use change in four time periods (1986-1993, 1993-2000, 2000-2008 and 2008-2012) were 1.59%, 0.53%, 0.71% and 0.57%, respectively, and the comprehensive index of land use degree in these five times were 2.53, 2.61, 2.62, 2.71 and 2.73, respectively, which showed a slow growth trend in 1986-2012. There has been an obvious mutual conversion between different land use/cover types, i.e., the increased area of mangrove mainly came from the waters and surrounded ponds, the reduced area of waters almost turned into artificial mangrove, and the reduced area of surrounded ponds mainly turned into terrestrial vegetation. However, the buildings and land area had no obvious mutual conversion relations with the other four land use types.

Abstract: This paper investigates the passenger transport problems with thinking about time factor, taking into account the cost of passenger transport time point. This paper argues that the passenger transportation cost is decomposed into of three parts :nodes between transport costs, transport mode conversion at a node when the node cost, time factor cost, and then establishes the optimization model of combined transport.
