Abstract: In order to predict the scale of logistics demand for a new-built regional center, economic indicators and the other related measuring indicator of the scale for logistics demand is studied. The factor analysis and back propagation (BP) artificial neural network theory are applied to set up a model for predicting the scale of the logistics center’ s demand. The factor analysis is applied to this model to reduce the number of indicators of the input layer in the BP artificial neural network, and to reduce complexity. Then model is introduced to fit historical data of the scale of new –built a regional logistics center’ s demand .Finally,a third-layer BP artificial neural network is constructed. This model was applied to predict the scale of the logistics demand in an example and the forecasting result shows that forecasting accuracy of the model is good. It also provides a new way of a new-built regional logistics center’ s demand forecast.

Abstract: Spatial analysis is the core of the space information system and the key function, and also one of evaluation a spatial information system function of the strength of the important index. Buffer analysis is the basic functions of spatial analysis on spatial information system, and is the basis of many space analysis methods. Buffer analysis is to point to identify a geographic entity or space objects on its surrounding of adjacent sex or the effect and in its built around a certain width of the strip area. In this paper, buffer area analysis of the spatial objects and grid theory are explained. On the basis of above, the establishment of grid algorithm of spatial buffer area and its shortage are also discussed. Finally, it makes exploration to the method application of the spatial buffer area analysis and the aspects of port logistics.

Abstract: The factors affecting the modern port logistics development have become more numerous and complex, which is hard to verify the key factors. Principal component analysis which is short for PCA is used to analyze these factors, aiming at finding out the key factors of them. Lianyungang Port was chosen for case study, and nine factors were selected to analyze. By applying PCA, combined with expert scoring and SPSS software, the cumulative contribution rate could be calculated and the principal component was determined. At last the infrastructure factor, collecting and distributing condition factor, information factor and policy factor are found out as key factors. It provides a basis for Lianyungang Port’s planning and policy-making.

Abstract: So far, most of the existing researches regard the key elements of the regional logistics capability as an isolated object and neglect the logical relationship and interdependence among links of regional logistics development’s process. This will slow down the developing speed of the regional logistics. Considering the impelling and linking relationship between the evaluation, prediction and planning of the regional logistics capability, this paper, guiding by the idea “integration”, studies the definition, the main participants, the goal and the key elements of the regional logistics capability, and then proposes that the result of evaluation and prediction as well as the implement measures of planning should be one-to-one correspondence with each key element.

This paper refers to the general impression currently in Nanjing that the distribution of the Auto 4S shop and automotive spare-parts shop is scattered thinly, and the shortage of auto and spare-parts happens oftentimes, then proceeds with systematically planning and detailed feasibility studies from market analysis, strategic positioning, functional design, layout design and business plan, and then provides a scientific and theoretical basis for the planning in building this logistics park in Nanjing.

Abstract: Based on the route risk analysis of regional emergency logistics and combined field investigation , a two-level indicator system of emergency logistics’s route risk, which consists of time risk indicator ,safety risk indicator , information risk indicator,flexibility of the scheme indicator. The higher-level indicator is regarded as t he class of lower-level indicator.Within the same indicator class, principal components analysis method can be used to reduce indicators .The weight of index system are decided by improved analytic hierarchy process (IAHP) evaluation method on the baisi of careful investigations, Then the evaluation process of regional emergency logistics ’s route risk is set up by fuzzy evaluation method,which overcoming neglection of both subjectivity and objectivity.

The application of multimodal transport in military transportation will significantly improve the transportation performance, optimize the transportation structure and promote the reasonableness and cost efficiency in transportation. This paper carries out a SWOT(Superiority Weakness Opportunity Threats) analysis on development of multimodal transport in Chinese military transportation, builds the information flow and supply management mode for multimodal transport in military transportation, and proposes the requirements by multimodal transport on support capacity of transportation equipments.

Abstract: The number of chemical logistics park increases very fast in our country. The thesis uses the thought of SLP to engage in applied research with examples. By analyzing logistics factors and other factors, determine the relativity between districts. Regarding to each district's operation area, applied the methods of correlation diagram and the methods of dynamic-line arrangement separately to design the positions of each district. Finally, give a simple comparison and conclusions to the two methods.
