Abstract: Ice slurry is thought to be an ideal material for ice-storage because of its good performance on cold storage and transport. However, the conventional ice slurry producing methods heavily depend on electric power and have their own disadvantages. So, this paper proposed a novel ice slurry producing system which consists of three major cycles: the liquid desiccant deep dehumidification cycle, the evaporative precooling cycle and the evaporative supercooling cycle. Research was made by simulation analyses on each process and the whole system, in order to verify its performance. Results showed that the proposed system can alleviate the burden on electric power and has high ice-producing efficiency.

Abstract: To analyze evaporative supercooled process of single water droplet in the air with low temperature and low humidity ratio, a mathematical model was constructed to simulate the evaporative process of single water droplet. The droplet temperature during its evaporation process and the influence of different initial droplet diameter, initial water temperature, air temperature and air humidity ratio were analyzed. The evaporative process of droplet in supercooled stage was simulated through the mathematical model, results from modeling basically tallies with the experiment. The numerical results show that lower initial temperature of water droplet can lessen the supercooled time of reaching steady state evaporation stage. Additionally it can not only lessen the supercooled time but also acquire lower supercooled temperature of water droplet by reducing air humidity ratio or lowering air temperature. Furthermore, the smaller initial diameter of water droplet is, the shorter supercooled time of reaching steady state evaporation stage becomes.

Abstract: Aiming at the arc plasma characteristics of high voltage circuit breaker, a set of multichannel, high speed, the synchronous detecting system is designed. The space distribution and time variation law of electric arc plasma, specially electric arc shape change law, are well reflected. Based on the ARM + CPLD + SDRAM detecting schemes, the system realized the functions of 64 groups optical fibers sampling, 4M/s sampling rate of every sampling channel, and the synchronous sampling. Through the detailed research and design to EMC, system error analysis, visual interface and database as well as the related interface program of ARM, CPLD, SDRAM and so on, has completed the multichannel, high speed and the real-time synchronized sampling, and mass data memory, computation, analysis, curve and animation demonstration and so on functions. The stability, feasibility and accuracy of the detecting system are proved by the practical application.

Abstract: To solve the problem of automated defect detection for textile fabrics, this paper proposed a method for fabric defect detection which is based on computer vision. After the operations in many aspects of basis image processing, such as gray-scale, denoising, contour detection and morphological, and it can transmit the fabric defect image information to host-computer with the USB interface in time. In order to acquire high processing speed, the captured images from each camera are sent into one dedicate computer for distributed and parallel image processing. The experimental result confirms that the proposed method can is feasible in rapid defect detection, and has a broad market prospect.

Abstract: With the rapid development of the world economy, energy has become tighter. Industrial equipments play an important role in the development process of the world economy, at the same time they also consume a lot of energy. Equipment selections are related to the different working conditions, such as temperature, pressure, load, economy etc. Reasonable and scientifically select the equipment and the auxiliary devices can meet the specifications required, while also help on energy saving and consumption reduction. In this article, this paper discusses on the reasonable correct selection of the 2BE1 series water ring vacuum pumps in the chemical industry.

Abstract: The possibility of application of the advanced hypertrochoid curve in the inner surface of the stator of fixed displacement hydraulic vane pump, theoretically was studied in the last our work. By considering the properties of this curve, sealing action between pressure and suction sides of the pump can be improved. One of the important characteristics of a new profile must be improving of the inertial reaction of the vanes in each position where these vanes have a radial movement because it causes a smooth sliding motion of the vanes, and hence, a higher performance of the pump while attaining a longer life of it. Then at this paper, the effect of the inertial force of the vanes on the performance of the pump with this curve will be studied. The regular motion of the vanes on the inner surface of the stator with smooth profile suppresses the lateral reactional force applied to the vanes and results to diminish local wear of the vanes tip and noise.

Abstract: Pumping station transfers water from Yangtze River, and the head of is varied frequently within a wide range due to the tidal water. Taking Jiangdu parallel pumping stations in China as a case, under the premise of pumping certain volume of water per day, considering head varying and time-varying electrical price, mathematical models were established aiming at the minimum operation cost and solved with Simulated Annealing Particle Swarm Optimization. The number of running pump units and pump unit operation duties were determined in different time periods. The results indicate that operation cost of optimal operation schemes considering time-varying electrical price and adjusting blade angles is saved 13.72% than that of not considering.

Abstract: t is generally recognized that technological progress will help individual energy product or service to improve energy efficiency. And to the whole of energy economic efficiency, the role of technological progress may not always promote the reduction of energy consumption. As rebound effect exists, it may further increase the demand for energy. With the continuous advancement of technology, increasing energy efficiency and rapid growth in energy consumption in our country, the need to further enhance the in-depth study on relationship between the rebound effect and energy efficiency. Currently, study abroad is more abundant in this area and our countrys study has lagged behind in this area. Therefore, the thesis, on the basis of international research, mainly from three aspects which are relationship between direct rebound effect and energy efficiency, indirect rebound effect and energy efficiency, the economy-wide rebound effect and energy efficiency, studies on the models of relationship between the rebound effect and energy efficiency in China. Through what we have mentioned above, we expect to offer useful references.

Abstract: The subject of this study were nano-nanoscale multilayer coatings formed using the process of filtered cathodic vacuum arc deposition in assisting high-energy ions of chromium. We used a special emitter (implantor) to generate chromium ions with high energy. Such key parameters of coatings as composition, structure, a thickness, hardness, adhesion in relation to a substrate obtained at various energy of chrome ions have been studied. It is establish the positive change of key properties of coating deposited on carbide inserts WC/CrC/Co, WC / (Co-Re), TiC/TaC/Co at assisted impact of ions Cr at ion acceleration voltage within the range of 10-40 kV. The results of measurement of parameters of coatings with use nanoindentometer are consistent with the X-ray analysis of the stresses in the coating (XSA study). The mechanisms of the effect of modified properties of coatings formed in assisting the filtered cathodic vacuum arc deposition on the properties of the carbide inserts in cutting structural steels and hard-to-cut nickel alloys have confirmed the high efficiency of the deposition process developed coatings and coating compositions.

Abstract: The depth of cut changed periodically along the contour of the cutting surfaces. The diamond tool of sharp point tip was used in diamond cutting microstructured surfaces with Fast Tool Serve (FTS). All reported the cutting force model were not suitable for accurately predicting cutting force. A cutting forces model concerned with edge radius, spring back and dynamic shear angle was proposed for diamond cutting microstructured surfaces. The model was verified with a series of experimental results. The results showed that the proposed model was able to exactly predict the cutting force.
