Abstract: A quantitative analysis based on SPSS is proposed in this paper for semantics maps of modern furniture color. It is assumed that different color factors could initiate different semantics cognition and feelings and analyze the relationships among all the factors, then access to modern furniture color semantic cognition space mapping, which are used to explain the relationships between modern furniture color semantics and color factors such as hue, tone.

Abstract: As same as indoor space, the urban space meets the user’s needs and reflects a city’s characteristics and culture, only through the reasonable furniture settings. This paper firstly started from the system of urban furniture, made a study of the connotation and type, and then discussed the relationship between urban furniture and landscape imagery. Based on research dates and design examples, it proposed design strategies based on landscape imagery from the following aspects: the deeply shaping of functions, styles with the overall and continuous creating, nature factors running through design and the culture’s reconstruction.

Abstract: The urban heat island phenomenon is one of the important problems faced by the metropolitan environment in hot-summer and cold-winter areas. In order to conduct truthful and in-depth analysis on this phenomenon, this study covers temperature data acquisition and a series of data collation and analysis conducted with the mobile testing method, more actually reflects the heat island spatial-temporal changes from the central area of Wuhan in Summer to the urban fringe, analyzes the urban morphology, urban underlying surface characteristics, and impacts of human factors and microclimate, and explores the feasible quantification basis for urban design and planning.

Abstract: Based on the Technical Assessment Handbook for Ecological Residence of China and taking the Summit Residence for example, this paper studies and analyzes the ecological strategy for site selection, planning, landscape design, architectural design and other issues in the design of a residential district.

Abstract: Coal resource cities of Heilongjiang Province had entered a depletion period as a result of long-term immoderate mining and they were facing the huge challenge of economic transformation. This paper analyses the present situation of human settlement of coal cities and then finds out the factors leading to the city environmental pollution and ecological destruction that influence human settlement. Several aspects such as environmental governance, ecological planning, industry scale, economic development and so on are discussed. The countermeasures and measures are put forward which are suitable for the sustainable development of human settlement in coal resource cities of Heilongjiang province.

Abstract: Aiming at the climate warming and drying trend inTianjin and saline-alkali soil, species single, lack of multi-level green landscape, big difference between the city proper and suburbs greening, Lower ecological effects etc., problems, from climate and soil, tree species selection, city proper and suburban difference, circular economy technology etc. several main factors of affecting city environment greening, and put forward the control saline-alkali soil improvement and water salt dynamic regulate and control; suit one's measures to local conditions, selection of salt-tolerant plants, increase of evergreen, the introduction of new species, selection drought tolerant and extensive management ground cover plants, increase the vertical greening, adjust existing forest community structure, increase the illumination, strengthen the city forest construction, the central city and the four suburbs and the five counties overall greening pattern, waste (solid waste and water) Closed-loop use, pollutants resource and the ecological environment virtuous cycle etc. measures.

Abstract: Chinese geomancy Fengshui was the fundamental basis, norm and guiding ideology for site selection of environment, planning, design and building of a residence. Its effect scope showed a homology and similarity with the building goal and environment design. Long-term since, someone put feng shui as a kind of feudal superstition, and give the negate, others believe the praise highly of feng shui, vehemently. However feng shui as a kind of culture, historically have been enmities, which inevitably contains a some reasonable factors. Based on this, the author tries to from scientific point of view, make use of ecology theory to explore the Fengshui cultures scientific, hoping to reveal its rationality, and acquire the correct understanding of Fengshui culture. In this way, the paper attempts to establish an environment designparadigm with Chinese characteristics, which can guide the design of environmental art. This paper uses the ecological system theory in the residential Fengshui on to homestead, explores the external environment and reveals the existing in the residential Fengshui cultures scientific, thereby,we can correctly put forward reasonable views on the residential Fengshui culture.

Abstract: By pointing out problems of the micro climate environment in urban commercial pedestrian streets in cold regions, and around typical issues of cold climate: cold wind, sunshine and temperature, this paper proposes design strategies that embody fully chill feature and stress the influence of winter climate.

Abstract: Traditionally, assessing impacts of urban land use on thermal environment is mainly depended on statistical analysis, which cannot exactly express the internal spatial correlation fundamental between urban land use and thermal environmental effects. This study introduces fractal theory to build radius dimension, and makes a quantitative description of the characteristics change from the center of the urban heat island effect on land use spatial pattern to the surrounding. The results suggested that those radius dimensions of five typical land use types are ranked in descending order: cropland, forest, water, bare land and built-up. It is indicated that built-up has positive effect on the performance of urban thermal environment, while forest, cropland and water have negative effect on urban thermal environment. The effect of bare land is not obvious. It is demonstrated that the radius dimension can effectively distinguish the gathered or mitigated effects from various land use spatial structure on urban heat environmental effects, which scientifically guides government to mitigate the UHI extant and degree by urban land use planning.

Abstract: As a new kind of urban landscaping, roof greening plays an important role in saving energy, easing the heat island effect, reducing dust and improving the urban environment. Taking the existing buildings in Hangzhou Shangcheng District for example, this essay is an analysis of the effects and promotional value of the urban roof greening and a research of the feasibility and necessity of roof greening promotion, which to further demonstrate that as a ground greening supplement, roof greening can expand greening scope and increase urban green coverage ratio, to form a dual interests of both economic and ecological sustainability.
