Abstract: The influences of coagulant species, dose, water turbidity, and pollution situation of raw water on the results of enhanced coagulation have been investigated targeted at water contaminated by chemical agent. Ferric trichloride and polymeric aluminum ferric chloride (PAFC) acted as coagulant, poly dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride (HCA) worked as coagulant aid and paraoxon acted as simulation agent of chemical agent VX in this process. The results show that: enhanced coagulation process cannot remove effectively chemical agent (paraoxon) in raw water; the result of treatment by PAFC and PAFC+HCA is better than that by FeCl3 and FeCl3+HCA; the addition of certain amount of HCA based on the condition that coagulant has been added will improve removal rate of both chemical agent and turbidity; the bigger the turbidity of raw water is, the higher the removal rate of paraoxon will be.

Abstract: It developed test devices and carried out test adopting combined process of adsorption-membrane separation targeted at municipal water polluted by military toxicant VX. Investigation on purification effects of sand filtration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, activated carbon adsorption and reverse osmosis was implemented in sections. It also studied on working principles of each section. Furthermore, comparative study has been made for adsorption performance of coaly granular activated carbon and that of shell activated carbon. The results show that the device can remove effectively simulation agent in water and the effluent quality complies with requirements of relevant standards.

Abstract: A static test was applied to study the biosorption of Mn (II) by immobilized dominant bacteria on the surface of chitosan cross-linked GAC(CCG) beads. The Citrobacter sp. was selected from the source water of the Shenyang first water treatment plant. Citrobacter sp. was immobilized on the surface of chitosan cross-linked GAC beads successfully. Langmuir models were applied to describe the isotherms. The Mn (II) removal rate was evaluated by the different dose rate and different contact time of the CCG beads. Results showed the dominant bacteria immobilized on chitosan cross-linked GAC beads were favourable adsorbers.

Abstract: The aim of our research was to find the better treatment progress for dyeing wastewater. It elaborated the source and the quality variation law with time change and harm to environment of the dyeing wastewater. Listed all kinds of treatment methods, including physical, chemical, biological. Thought the development trends of dyeing wastewater treatment was the combination of multiple progress.

Abstract: The objective of this research was to compare enhanced coagulation with anion exchange for removal of natural organic matter (NOM) and bromide. Treatment with a magnetic ion exchange resin (MIEX) was the primary focus of this study. The performance of the magnetic ion exchange resin,MIEX, in the treatment of raw water was investigated. MIEX can effectively remove UV-absorbing substances DOC. The removal of organic substances is accompanied by the elimination of other undesirable components, such as nitrogen and phosphorus. The optimal process parameters are at resin doses of 5-10 mL L1and contact time of 10-15 min, as determined via jartests. Based on this study, MIEX treatment is a suitable and efficient pretreatment method for the removal of extra dissolved organic matters and nitrates in raw water .

Abstract: This experiment adopted supersound and polymeric aluminum ferric chloride (PAFC) dewatering excess sludges. Firstly, aluminum chloride and ferric chloride were synthetized to a novel inorganic flocculant ——PAFC and the optimal molar ratio of A1 and Fe was 7:3. Secondly, PAFC singly dewatered excess sludges. The optimum technological conditionwas the optimum dosage of 120mg/L and pH of 8. As a result , the sludge water content decreased from 87.48% to 70.87%. Thirdly, supersound singly dewatered excess sludges. The optimum technological condition was the optimum power of 150W and time of 2.5min. Lastly, the combination of supersound and PAFC sludge dewatered excess sludges and moisture content was reduced to 70.01%.

Abstract: The characteristics and purification effect of wastewater VOCs from a shijiazhuang bio-pharmaceutical factory were studied throμg h summa canister , preconcentration system and meteorological chromatography - mass spectrometry (GC - MS) . The VOCs are classified according to the functional groups, boiling point, molecular weight and carbon number, and its characteristics and treatment process were discussed based on total emissions, kinds, alkaline cleaning efficiency, biological efficiency and total efficiency. The results show that the largest concentrations of VOCs is the sulfur-containing compounds, boiling point of 81 ~ 110 °C and molecular weight of 20 ~ 50, which has better treatment effect, and efficiencies are above 99%.

Abstract: A hollow fiber membrane biofilm reactor (MBfR) using Polyethylene (PE) membranes was investigated for denitrification in nitrate-contimanitated drinking water. The reactor was operated over 85 days with influent nitrate loading increasing gradually. The result showed that maximum of nitrate denitrification rate achieved was 3.84 g NO3ˉ-N/m3/d (1.36 g NO3ˉ-N/m2/d) and the total nitrogen removal was more than 96%. The results also showed that the membrane pollution was mainly caused by the mineral sedimentation and EPS.

Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a simulation methodology for evaluating the performance of CO2 Emission (CE) of Green Roof shape Integrated Photovoltaic System (GRIPV) of a Wooden Detached House using GA. CE acting as evaluating indicator was studied. Three typical locations in Japan are taken into account: Sapporo, Tokyo and Naha. Optimal solution of each location was achieved.
