Abstract: Solving Problems is the ultimate task of architectural creation. From the point of problem types being Solved, it can boil down to three kinds which are condition problems, contradiction problems and value problems. Architectural creation thinking is systemic thinking which unifies the rational thinking and irrational thinking together. Rational thinking is the dominant thinking mode that solve many kinds of problems of architectural creation, and there are some keys to solve the architectural creation’s value problems base on rational thinking, Such as to develop the function, technology and form of intrinsical creation objects through exhuming the potential properties and expanding possibilities of creation interrelated elements . The basic goal of architectural creation that solving the value problems base on rational thinking is exalting the value of creation objects. It can improve the systematicness, efficiency and stabilization effectively to architectural creation.

Abstract: High-rise building this type of construction has greatly changed the city's construction and the natural environment. At present, many high-rise building design and urban space does not conform with that gave rise to a sense of indifference to it, sense of distance. This paper attempts by high-rise buildings and urban design analysis to advocate for high-rise buildings to the city and public open space development, and bring it into line with the City of integration with the environment to shape the city's image.

Abstract: Urban design for high-intensity central urban areas often ends up with the conglomeration of high-rises, while these areas are then faced with the question as how reasonable planning and design approaches could be employed to reflect the green and ecological design idea, optimize the spatial and environmental quality and carry on the local traditional culture and features. To respond, this paper conducts a case study of the GIFC urban design proposal, and further explores the green and ecological design approaches with the local Lingnan characteristics from the perspectives of the macro-level ecological pattern, the spatial order as well as the establishment of the public space system, with the intent to offer some reference for the development of new urban areas.

Abstract: Much sustainable urban architecture in China is closely related to traditional Chinese inhabitation wisdom, which, as a collection of ancient wisdom, has accumulated for thousands of years. The wisdom, according to which the ancient Chinese constructed their living space in harmony with nature, could continue to be a reliable reference in modern urban construction projects. Moderate development, interconnectedness, and the cyclical patterns of nature are the core concepts of the wisdom. The knowledge and application of such wisdom could help in the construction of more modern, convenient, and environment-friendly cities. The modernization of urban areas should not lose sight of traditional architechual characteristics.

Abstract: Faced double crisis of shortage of energy and deterioration of environment, people begin to pursue the harmony between human and nature. Therefore the green architecture comes into being. Based on the interpret the meaning and the development of green architecture in Linyi, the article analyzes the problems lying in the development of green architecture in Linyi, and then put forward with some proposals to promote the development of green architecture in Linyi.

Abstract: In recent years, green building technologies have been developed greatly and quickly in China. While the green building technologies have been gradually matured, the application practice of green building technologies in landscape design has been increasingly widespread. Combined with the case study on the design of Tianlu-lake Forest Park entrance area, this paper is introducing the green building technologies in landscape design mainly from two aspects: Site design and construction detail. The green building technologies applied in this case were included: (1)Site Analysis: interpretation of the status quo; (2)Site Planning: conform to the terrain; (3) Architecture design: hidden in the earth; (4) Vertical design: suit local circumstances; (5) Vegetation design: the big trees plaza; (6) permeable ground; (7) greening parking lot; (8) Roofs Greening; (9)Retain the ecological corridor. Furthermore, this paper is reflected on this design practice, in order to benefit regional landscape design and study.

Abstract: Combined with available local resources and traditional manufacturing techniques of Yimeng mountain area, several transformation methods, which are ecological economical and practical for the existing rural housing, are put forward. After optimization, the rural residence will be more energy-efficient, more environmental and more comfortable. The aim of the paper is to make the eco-renovation feasible and economical for farmers and popularize the reform measures in more rural areas like Yimeng.
