Abstract: The application of 3G techniques in the field of embedded system has become one of the hotspots in recent years. This paper designs a CDMA2000 1x smart home system based on Cortex-M3 MCU(micro control unit). The performance of Cortex-M3 based embedded system is analyzed compared with ARM7 platform in terms of code density. From the analysis, it is proved in the paper that ARM Cortex MCU meets the requirement of emerging embedded smart home system.

Abstract: A novel method has been proposed for integrated Beidou and GPS (Global Positioning System) navigation system in vessel monitoring system. Application of integrated Beidou and GPS navigation system's high precision positioning and SMS (Short Messaging Service) communication technology in vessel can well solve the problem of vessel navigation, positioning, remote monitoring and commanding. Based on 27 stations of Crustal Moment Observation Network of China, satellite visibility and availability of integrated Beidou and GPS are calculated and analyzed in detail. A data compression algorithm is proposed for Beidou SMS communication technology to get the continuous location and other state of the target vessel. Experimental results reveal that the integrated Beidou and GPS system is superior to any single system in all respects of positioning performance.

Abstract: This paper describes the design and implementation of MINIX file system for an ARM based multi-process mono-kernel embedded operating system, including overview of MINIX file system, design of SD card driver, design of file system routines such as caching, essential functions, system call functions, and system call interface functions. At the final, the paper provides a demo example to show the effect of the file system routines, including commonly used file operations such as opening, closing, reading and writing by positioning, getting status, and removing, as well as a brief function for listing directories.

Abstract: This paper describes the design and implementation of executing ELF files on an ARM based multi-process mono-kernel embedded operating system, including overview of ELF files, and key techniques of loading and executing ELF files. At the final, the paper provides some demo examples to show the effects of a simple shell interpreter and typical shell commands, echo, date, and pwd. The entire embedded operating system including the routines of executing ELF files are developed by the author of this paper on Linux with GNU tool chain, based on which more powerful shell interpreter and shell commands analogous to that of embedded Linux can be designed.

Abstract: This paper describes the design and implementation of piping functionality for ARM based multi-process mono-kernel embedded operating system, including overview of inter-process communication, key techniques of designing piping routines such as getting i-node for piping, creating pipe, reading and writing pipe, and terminating pipe, etc. At the final, the paper provides a demo example to show the effect. Based on the piping routines described in this paper, more powerful shell interpreter with redirecting and piping functionalities as well as other shell commands analogous to that of embedded Linux can be implemented.

Abstract: A new Power over Ethernet (PoE) proprietary specification known as LTPoE++ and its solution for high power PoE system is introduced. A 90W single port high power PoE system based on the LTPoE++ solution using power sourcing equipment (PSE) controller LTC4274A-4 and powered device (PD) controller LT4275A produced by Linear Technology is illustrated, including overall structure, features, hardware frames, functions and their implementation. Finally working process of the system is analyzed.

Abstract: We used a untraditional techniques --- Drupal, and created a cultural investment services platform. Drupal is superior to traditional techniques in terms of efficiency and safety. Site foreground selected Bartik theme, selected mysql database as background support, core transaction functionality implemented used Ubercart e-commerce module. Site has friendly search and browsing interface, and provide a forum, private messages and other communication means.

Abstract: This paper proposed a model of combination recommendation, focusing on analysis and comparison of content filtering recommendation technology and collaborative filtering recommendation technology based on the mainstream personalized recommendation technology, and the model working process is given. For how to solve the problem of sparse and cold start, the paper gave the solve methods, and discussed the process of combination recommendation algorithm, and then introduced a method of developing and designing personalized courseware recommendation system of rural modern distance learning, and introduced the optimization measures of functional modules and performance. It provides a useful reference for distance education site to carry out personalized training services for rural adult users.

Abstract: After implementing the open laboratory, students can make self-adjustments to their learning plans and choose different levels of experiments according to their learning degree, which will change the traditional passive learning into active learning. From the management reality of open laboratory, employing ASP NET and SQL Server 2008 to develop an opening laboratory management system which is based on the Web. This system has realized the course scheduling algorithm and efficient management of laboratory and students can reserve laboratory to do experiments according to their own time.

Abstract: As an effective platform for networking attacking, the botnet brings the most serious threats. In this paper, botnets are categorized into three classes based on network structure. They are centralized botnet, distributed (P2P) bornet and hybrid botnet. This paper divides botnet defense techniques into three fields: detection, measurement and restraint. It analyzes each field in detail, and discusses that which defense technique is suitable for what kind of botnet.
