Abstract: Based on reconsidering modern architecture in the twentieth century in its characteristics of massiness, constant and isolation, the author put forward the opinions that architecture should exist in a light and fadable way. it should bear sufficient correspondence to the environment in which it is located. Through analysis of related works and research on fade theories, such as "Defeated Architecture" of Kengo Kuma, "skin Architecture" of Herzog & de Meuron and "Architecture of Wind " of Toyo Ito etc., this paper summarizes four ways to achieve architectural fading, i.e. fade of form, fade of skin , fade of space and fade in region.

Abstract: Using method of questionnaire survey, we get the customer demand in renovation of Nantou historic area in Shenzhen China. Consulting the experience of similar projects, the product stratagem has been suggested which meets the customer’s demand. At the end, a competitive scheme has been designed to achieve a successful project of resort and entertainment.

Abstract: This paper explores a few issues in residential planning and design, probes into the scientificalness and accuracy of the design under the theoretic of sustainable development. A real example is also used to demonstrate the idea discussed in this paper.

Abstract: As the external physical manifestation of the architecture, the material characteristics of the ecological building surface is that it is the most intuitive external carrier of its communication with people. On the premise of meeting the demand of energy efficiency, Ecological building should also produce a surface material expression form which resonates with peoples aesthetic needs, to achieve its unique aesthetic value.

Abstract: This paper discusses a method of constructing a system for generating the plan with the characteristics of Huizhou traditional residence. Based on the data analysis of Huizhou traditional houses, this paper summarized the rules of the form composition in Huizhou traditional residence, which include the rules of site, axial direction, total width, functional space, transition space, patio space and total depth etc. Meanwhile, with the help of grammar translation in computer aided architectural design, these rules are transformed into generation grammars from words description by mathematics and computer language expression. Moreover, the plan with characteristics of Huizhou traditional houses has been generated under given conditions through a generation system for computer aided architectural design, which has been proved to be effective through an example of plan generation.

Abstract: In Zeche Zollverein near Essen in the Ruhr Area, the old plants are rebuilt as culture & recreation places such as museum, restaurant and theater and so on, they get the rebirth. The industrial feel was conserved, and the buildings continue the history with immitting of new blood at the mean time. Symbiosis of old and new building proposed new ideas.

Abstract: Stone products are mainly used in civil engineering. The prices of stone products are not too high. If stone is turned into cultural products, its added value will be greatly improved. The key elements of turning stone into cultural products are not processing technology, craft and the place of origin, but the cultural elements attached to stone. When hard stone is turned into emotional things people like, its competitive advantage will be increased and its sales volume will also rise accordingly. From the perspective of different disciplines, this paper discusses the methodology of creative design for stone statues, elaborates how to develop a wide variety of stone statues through a lot of examples and how to make cultural marketing.

Abstract: This paper explains the concept of folk culture in design of Chinese traditional vernacular dwellings, puts forward that we should properly deal with, use and develop traditional culture through analysis of the wide and specific application of humanistic culture and folk culture in design of Chinese traditional vernacular dwellings, and requires modern designers to have a certain cognition and understanding of the deep connotation of Chinese traditional culture.

Abstract: In this paper, it analyzes and elaborates the Harbin-Dalian high-speed rail introduced both the Shenyang Rail Station and Shenyang North Rail Station design involved problems and solutions, also states to pay attention to the problems existing station renovation.

Abstract: Focuses on rockwool as a Class A fire material of exterior wall system. Analyzed by the climatic characteristics of the region north of Jiangxi, and the pros and cons of the various aspect of performance of rockwool insulation materials and the development trend of the regional building energy efficiency and suitable energy-saving technologies, and rockwool exterior insulation technology applications study, discuss and demonstrate the feasibility of the application of this technology in northern Jiangxi building energy efficiency rockwool exterior insulation technology region in the north of Jiangxi has good generalization.
