Abstract: On the basis of analyzing some defectiveness in current domestic measure system, design was proposed to base on embedded web server which use AT91M40800+UC/OS-II microprocessors as hardware and software platform to develop temperature and humidity measure system of survey ship computer room. In system integration of embedded Web server, Users can achieve remote measure equipment embedded data and working status through browser. Thereby enhancing the measure efficiency and reduce the cost of measure.

Abstract: This paper introduces IBIS-L (Image by Interferometric Survey-L) and its application on early warning system of embankment slope deformation. Visual Basic programming language and Microsoft SQL Server are used to develop the software of early warning system of embankment slope’s deformation, which can build the model to predict and early warn of the deformation of embankment slope with considering the parameters obtained both by IBIS-L and routine monitoring.

Abstract: The paper introduced the status quo of the gel pen smoothness; developed a new measuring device - smoothness tester for the status quo of the inaccurate measurement; described the measuring principle and system design of the smoothness instrument. Experimental data showed the superiority of the measurement. It basically solved the inaccurate measurement situation. The repeatability is less than 15%, and the correlation with the feeling is not more than 2%.

Abstract: This work presents a new detection system for seed viability assessment. The theoretical of the system is based on laser speckle or dynamic speckle, an optical phenomenon produced by interference of light. In the present work, the detection of a single in a period of time is been concentrate. The various parts and working principle of the laser speckle detection system explain detailed and the feasibility of this system is experiment in this paper. The result shows that this system is available in this field, and it can support the further study.

Abstract: In south-west of China, landslide is a common kind of geologic hazards, which is a very serious potential threat for security operation of power system when it lies very close to transmission corridor. In this paper, an online monitoring device, containing three kinds of fiber optical sensors which respectively measure displacements & water pressure for different locations inside the landslide body, and width variances of the landslide surface fractures, is introduced in details. All these measured data, together with meteorology information obtained by local micro weather station, are transferred back to control center by GPRS, then software processes them to present land slide status. This device was already installed in the place where is near to No. 50 power tower of a certain transmission line in Sichuan, China. Until now it has successfully operated half a year. Large amount of data were obtained. Analysis results prove its effectiveness.

Abstract: There are certain nonlinearity, time variability, randomness and uncertainty in the process of using sequencing batch sludge method in sewage treatment. Therefore, propose a soft measurement technique for sewage treatment parameters basing on the model of Kernel Principal Component Analysis and Wavelet Neural Network. Use Kernel Principal Component Analysis as concise as possible in the case of the input variables can ensure that a smaller amount of loss and combine WNN soft-measurement model and on-line measuring instruments together, do real-time detection for redox potential, dissolved oxygen, PH, COD and so on parameter control information .PLC controller outputs control signals to control the entire system equipment operation. The simulation results show that compared with traditional methods, there is good dynamic performance, fewer error, which is with good robustness and stability.

Abstract: In this study, the detecting device of the steering angle is designed based on the single-chip microcomputer of STC12LE5A60S2 and the wireless communication module of ZICM2410; the hardware structure design and software implementation of the device are proposed. With this detecting device the steering angle can be detected any time which can be shown on the LCD board of the detecting device, and on main controller through the wireless communication; the rules can be modified in the condition of zero drift to ensure a continuous trouble-free operation with high degree of accuracy; the performance detection index is the evidence to judge whether the car is qualified or not. Less cost, greater reliability, flexibility and convenience are the main features of this device.

Abstract: Microwave technology is extensively used for point-to-point telecommunications. Microwaves are especially suitable for this use since they are more easily focused into narrower beams than radio waves, allowing frequency reuse; their comparatively higher frequencies allow broad bandwidth and high data transmission rates, and antenna sizes are smaller than at lower frequencies because antenna size is inversely proportional to transmitted frequency. Microwaves are used in spacecraft communication, and much of the world’s data, TV, and telephone communications are transmitted long distances by microwaves between ground stations and communications satellites. Microwaves are also employed in microwave ovens and in radar technology. The prefix “micro-” in “microwave” indicates that microwaves are “small” compared to waves used in typical radio broadcasting, in that they have shorter wavelengths. The boundaries between far infrared light, terahertz radiation, microwaves, and ultra-high-frequency radio waves are fairly arbitrary and are used variously between different fields of study.

Abstract: This paper derives the performance equation of differential calibration using TDOA and FDOA measurements in the presence of multiple calibration sources when the receiver positions and velocities have random errors. It analyzes the effect of error restraining by differential calibration. It proves through theoretical derivation that the location performance of differential calibration depends heavily on the calibration source amount, position distribution and measurement accuracy. Furthermore, badly selected parameters result in location failure. The theoretical results in this paper are verified by Monte Carlo simulations. The calibration source optimization is proved to be effective.
