Abstract: Now in china, the professional specialty of construction management began nearly 1980s, so it is very late, and the talent training mode are different in various colleges, especially the analysis to the professional specialty ability is not mature. This article combining with the practice of Disaster Prevention Institute of Science and Technology, analyze and study the professional specialty ability of construction management.

Abstract: The risks weren’t negotiated before the contracts signature would be the barrier of contract enforcement. It would lead to low project management performance, and risks reallocation after the signature is an important method to settle the problems above. The article analyzed the regulations of 2013 Bills of Quantities about risk allocation, together with the discussion on contract enforcement mechanism that caused by incomplete contract based on risks reallocation. It is shown that one of the important means to make the contract optimize is to introduce condition compensation into the flexible terms. The owner could select proper method accordingly to control the risks of investment and improve performance of project management.

Abstract: The information management also plays a crucial role in construction contracts management, because information is associated with the terms of construction contracts, and the construction enterprise can fulfill the management of construction efficiently by using the information. Especially in the modern construction engineering, the transferring, collecting, storage and application of information are associated with the quality and efficiency of construction engineering. So we must strengthen the information management in construction engineering to guarantee the engineering construction.

Abstract: In order to raise the level of management in building construction cost, knowledge management approach is proposed in this paper. An XML (Extensible Markup Language)-based paradigm matrix is established to represent construction cost control knowledge. In the matrix, the row elements are made up of feature attributes, and construction working procedures are the components of the column. Furthermore, based on the Hamming weighted proximity, the closeness between new construction projects and target case is calculated such that the similarity is obtained, by this method the knowledge matching is achieved. These methods remedy non-standardized description of the construction cost control knowledge and inefficient retrieval of the construction cost control cases, which offers a basis for knowledge management in construction cost control.

Abstract: In recently years, Governments actively transform urban landscape construction in Taiwan, causing substantial increase in the pavement area and maintenance of the sidewalk. However, the recurring damage to sidewalk could lead to the risk of pedestrian injury. This study investigated the damage to the sidewalk, and introduced the Building Information Modeling (BIM) to develop a management mechanism applicable to the sidewalk. Analysis results are shown as follows: 1. BIM can create the sidewalk sections, floor tiles destruction type, location and other information with the damaged area. Sidewalk elements of BIM can provide proper sidewalk tiles location and information. 2. Application mode can effectively utilize the characteristics of BIM. The model is through visual control to manage operations. 3. BIM can help managers with quickly destroy the recorded contents and disposal measures. Identification color of damage condition for tiles, and automated statistics can be applied to analyze the damage results of sidewalk. Therefore, it can improve the efficiency and quality for overall maintenance operations.

Abstract: Geoadditive models represent efficient and flexible tools, useful in modeling realistically complex situations. Mainly they are based on semi-parametric regressions often integrated by Kriging techniques for the spatial interpolation of surfaces. One of the choices to be made for determination of interpolated surfaces regards the specific function to be used to estimate the unknown values. The choice may currently occur between exponential, gaussian, linear, rational or spherical functions. In this working paper a geoadditive model based on penalized spline functions has been proposed, in order to obtain improvements in forecasting of interpolated surfaces respect to usual Kriging techniques. The main aim of this study is the identification of methodology in able to define and delineate the real estate market scenarios for urban areas through analysis of property values and their spatial distribution.

Abstract: In cross-country comparisons of construction economy, the purchasing power parity index as a currency conversion coefficient can substitute for the exchange rates reduce construction price distortions. According to BOCC method, the special development conditions of residential construction industry for China and the regional differences of non-tradable goods, we propose the practices estimating purchasing power parity for the basic building, small and micro engineering between the countries of geographical proximity, which help the development of space index of China's construction cost and are an effective ways to accelerate contacts with the international construction market.

Abstract: Design activities occupy the dominant position in the construction engineering, it have an important impact on investment, quality and schedule objectives of construction. But in the design stage, many problems exist in the interface between the owner and the design unit, that brings great latent danger for the smooth implementation of the project.Whether interface management is effective determines the success or failure of the project. Make the interface between owner and design unit as the object, this paper presents methods of coordination center based on the the theory of interface management. The method can be used to manage the interface between owner and design unit effectively.

Abstract: The report analyses the issues existing in the housing industrialization of villages and small towns in our country, as construction of domestic villages and small towns’ house is playing a crucial role in accelerating the development of villages and small towns housing industry and major performance is focus on improving the quality and environment. But compared with the ever-changing urban landscape, villages and small towns’ living environment, comfort and the quality of living are significantly behind. Lagged villages and small towns’ housing industrialization seriously hindered the healthy development of villages and small towns’ house construction. Research shows the effective strategy in promoting domestic construction of villages and small towns by housing industrialization.

Abstract: The appraisal of undivided and indivisible real estate shares represents a recurring and underestimated issue by professional appraisers. This problem requires a logical solution considering that the undivided real estate shares are more difficult to sell and, consequently, there is a decrease of their market value. It follows that issue can be referred, in theoretical and practical terms, to the real estate investment risk valuation and on how to convert this risk into an expected rate that can compensate it. In this paper the Capital Asset Pricing Model has been integrated with Penalized Spline Semiparametric Method in order to obtain an algorithm that allows to rationalize the appraisal of undivided real estate shares using easily accessible data.
