Natural ventilation is use of pressure or heat to achieve natural ventilation effect, has the advantages of energy-efficient, clean, and is a relatively healthy ventilation mode. This study on wind environment in residential areas of Henan base, exploring hot-summer and cold-winter climate on buildings build the role of development, climate influence architectural design concept.

Abstract: To greatly develop carbon sequestration forestry, conduct carbon sequestration forestation, increase forest carbon sequestration, ensure reduction of forest carbon emission, is an important measure and a completely new work to actively deal with climate change. This paper introduces the development process and research trend of coupling effect of artificial carbon sequestration capacity and ecological environment, explores the coupling development modes, and the relations between function coupling and composition element coupling with the objective of further improving the construction of ecological civilization and ecological environment.

Abstract: As an effective adsorbent, activated carbon is widely used in the treatment of wastewater. Describes some of the regeneration of activated carbon for reference: thermal regeneration method, chemical regeneration, biological regeneration method, electrochemical regeneration, regeneration ozone oxidation, wet oxidation regeneration shown, supercritical carbon dioxide extraction regeneration, regeneration of catalytic oxidation method, microwave and ultrasonic regeneration and so on.

Abstract: The city’s outdoor wind-heat environment which plays an important role of improving citizen's livelihood has become a focus of research. For the outdoor public space similar to the pedestrian street, pedestrian-height wind and thermal comfort directly influence the value. This paper takes Jiefangbei commercial pedestrian street as an example. Based on the regional climate characteristics in Chongqing, simulation has been carried out by ENVI-met software. Then this paper makes comprehensive evaluation on pedestrian-height wind environment and thermal comfort, and proposes optimization measures according to the existing problems so as to create an outdoor space environment suitable for improving people's way of life in city.

Abstract: According to the “harmless, reduction and recycling” processing principle, landfill method, incineration and compost method were studied that secondary pollution and resource waste problems were unavoidable. From the perspective of circular economy, Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) separation and integrated utilization technology was proposed. The composition of MSW was investigated. The influence to sorting equipment by the garbage component properties was analyzed. On the basis of the full analysis of relating technology drawbacks, the sorting equipment, such as crush equipment and air classification equipment, were designed. Organic bacterial manure is produced by organic material, which was sorting from MSW. Plastic-wood is produced by mixing plastic and wood powder. Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is produced by papers and textile.

Abstract: Pot experiments were performed to investigate the effect of compost amendment on the mobility of zinc through analysis of Zn fractions in heavy metal contaminated soil. The results showed that the total Zn concentration decreased 8.11%, 10.15%, 16.15%, 20.05%, 7.28% and 5.02% after the amendment of 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 g/kg compost to soil and Brassica juncea harvest, respectively. Zn was mostly concentrated in the residual fraction and Fe-Mn oxides fraction in soil. The percentage of Zn in water-soluble fraction, organic fraction and residual fraction had no correlation with the amount of compost amendment. The percentage of Zn in the exchangeable fraction decreased and the percentage of Zn in Fe-Mn oxides fractions increased obviously. Furthermore, the mobility factor of Zn decreased significantly from 19.20% without compost amendment to 19.09%, 18.70%, 18.15%, 16.45% and 16.12% after the amendment of 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 g/kg compost to soil, the compost amendment could lowered the mobility and phytotoxicity of zinc through bound to Fe-Mn oxides.

Abstract: Hydropower development and effects on fish assemblages by dams in Lancang River Basin have arisen great concerns. As a compensation measure, Xishuangbanna State Nature Reserve was established at Luosuo River in 2007, to protect fish species affected by dams in lower Lancang River. Based on published data of fish since 1950s, we analyzed the fish biodiversity of Luosuo River and the similarity with species of lower Lancang River, using G-F index and Sprensen similarity index respectively. The results clearly show that fish biodiversity is quite high at the genus level in Luosuo River. 60 species (including 20 endemic species) were recorded in both reaches, accounting for 71.43% of total species in lower Lancang River. Similar composition of fish community and high similarity indicate that Luosuo River has the potential to protect most of fish species (including endemic species) under hydropower development in the downstream of Lancang River.

Abstract: Beta-alumina solid electrolyte (BASE) is a fast ion conductor material which shows high conductivity of sodium ions and low electronic conductivity. Recent Progress on the Application of BASE in energy storage such as Na Based Batteries (NBBS) and Alkali metal thermal to-electric converter (AMTEC), and Non-Faradaic Electrochemical Modification of Catalytic Activity (NEMCA) in environmental protection were reviewed.

Abstract: The physical and chemical characteristics of suspended sediment in Waizhou reach are studied.The particle size is between 0.005-0.75mm.The pH value of sediment sample is 7.1.The desorption experiment after adsorbing total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphorus(TP) saturated was carried out.The experimental results show the desorption of sediment on TN and TP reaches basic equilibrium about 8h.Desorption capacity decreases with the increase of sediment concentration.Desorption process is completed by two steps.The first step is physical desorption process quickly.The second step is chemical desorption and belongs to the process of slow response.Using the Langmuir model can better simulate the process of desorbing.The correlation coefficients of fitting with TN and TP are above 0.8 and 0.75 respectively.The higher the sediment concentration, the better fitting effect.

Abstract: Scientific and reasonable monitoring indexes are the key to establish monitoring system. Based on the single index, it is essential to launch the optimization and selection of indicators. Take thermal power as the research object in demonstration area and adopt comprehensive evaluation and three parameters evaluation methods to select index, successfully construct system of monitoring indicators which include in COD, suspended solids, sulfur, oil, volatile phenol and ammonia nitrogen. It will provide theoretical basis and technical support to build intelligent water environment safety and pollution monitoring system.
