Abstract: As the precision and quality requirements for assembly process is very high, with the features of security or irreversibility, assembly has become an key link of restricting the improvement of product quality and productivity for some industries such as automotive, aerospace and other industries. In this paper, based on the construction of the tri-dimensional visual platform, assembly process design process is studied, on the basis of tri-dimensional process model, the assembly process is simulated and analyzed in real-time, the assembly path and assembly interference check is implemented, thus shorten the planning and assembly debugging cycle greatly, improve the quality and efficiency of the process design.

Abstract: Taking environmental factors into consideration is the primary demand and feature of eco-design. But the environmental factors are often numerous, trivial and related to the entire design phases, which make eco-design difficult to carry out. In order to address this problem, Product Information Model for Eco-design (PIMfE) based on the NIST CPM2 was proposed to provide an organizer and a standard representation for eco-design information. By extending the CPM2, environmental aspects, such as environmental norms, regulations, standards, material selection, disassembly, recycling and environmental impact evaluation, were integrated into product information model. Then the key activities of eco-design namely requirement analysis, detailed design and environmental evaluation could be supported by PIMfE. An example of keypad microphone is used to illustrate the suggested product information model and verify its validity.

Abstract: In view of the problems in the process of camouflage materials research and development project quality control subjective and management information of materials is unilateral, C2GS2 quality control model was built to improve the scientific management level. By the establishment of index system for quality control, on the basis of the characteristics of its all output index, output-CCR model was set up to evaluate the management level. In order to further improve the information of both radial direction and non-radial detection, we introduced the non-Archimedean infinitesimal to form C2GS2 quality control model. The example shows that the quality control model can significantly improve the level of research and development, it can provide more detailed manage information.

Abstract: The phase field coupling with the temperature distribution field is used to simulate the dendrite growth during isothermal solidification. The effects of coupling coefficient on the dendrite growth are studied. The results indicate that grain shape is hypertrophy dendritic crystal When the coupling coefficient is low. As coupling coefficient increases, the main branch of dendritic crystal become long and thin, and has the stable front interface. When the coupling coefficient is large, the dendrite growth becomes very complicated and the front interface of it is very unstable. Meanwhile, the temperature distribution field of main branch tip increases slowly first, then decreases; in addition to the main branch ,the temperature field increases monotonously.

Abstract: In this paper, the computation method of the strip crown is analyzed using the measured strip thickness data on a hot strip product line. The better quality of the strip is achieved for the smaller crown and the closer of the mean thickness to the nominal thickness. The polynomial approximation method for the transverse thickness distribution of the strip is used, and the different degrees of the polynomial are selected for calculating the strip crown. The calculated results are compared with the output of the measuring system in a rolling factory.

Abstract: The soft ground improvement employing vacuum preloading is widely used in Tianjin. In the application of vacuum preloading, the bending of plastic vertical drains (PVDs) often occurs accompanying the large settlement of the soft ground or the significant shear strain at the ground surface. In order to investigate the influence of bending of PVDs on the ground consolidation, three different bending shapes of PVDs are assumed and a series soil-water coupled finite element analyses are carried out. It is found that: 1) the macro-element method is available to take the bending effect of PVDs into consideration; 2) the bending at the bottom of PVDs has much impact on the consolidation of ground even though the hydraulic gradient at the bottom is much smaller than that at the top; 3) Due to the bending of PVDs at the bottom the drainage capacity is much influenced and the volumetric compression only occurs at the first few layers of the ground.

Abstract: The intelligent fuzzy control method in thermostatic process of the sand casting and gas forming tester was introduced in this paper. The delayed time of thermostatic control system of the tester was compensated by Smith predictor. The simulation testified that the control method of the research has a higher maneuverability, which is in line with the actual needs of the tester.

Abstract: The forming process of the square cup of TWBs is studied through the numerical simulation by Dynaform, and combined with orthogonal test, analyzed the thickness ratio, strength ratio, weld-line position, total blank-holder force, the thinner side’s blank-holder rate and the friction coefficient’s relations with the square cup of TWBs’ weld-line movement during the stamping process, and using the BP neural network toolbox model to forecast the weld-line movement in the process of forming. Studies show that regardless of the thickness ratio impact on the bottom of the square cup or on the flange, weld-line movements are at the maximum, the strength ratio is the second. The smaller proportion of the thinner side of the base material, the lower weld-line movement is. Selecting the suitable thinner side and thicker side’s blank-holder, and the reasonable lubrication conditions can control the value of the weld-line movement.
