Abstract: According to the harmonic with phase controlled rectifying technology producing applied oil deposit, this paper adopts APF (active power filter) to filter out the harmonic. The current hysteresis, triangular wave and SVPWM-three kinds of control strategies are discussed. The filter effecting of three strategies are sketched. Aiming at the drawback, it show that the strategy and method with APF based on switched linear theory. The simulation results show that the filtering effect of switched linear theory is better where harmonic is serious; the trigger angle and harmonic is small, and there is no obvious difference compared with other three strategies. Therefore Linear switches suitable for harmonic suppression, When the impedance change big and triggering angle of rectifier equipment change small.

Abstract: Apply optimization method to reduce the startup time can improve the maneuverability of vessel and reduce the operation cost of the unit. In this paper, a boiler system model was developed to capture system dynamic and the variety of stress based on the multi-domain modeling language Modelica, then the optimization model was built taking minimize the start-up time as optimization targets, constrained on the thermal and mechanical stress. The optimization process was performed on the platform of JModelica.org, exploiting the direct collocation method. Fuel quantity curve of the start up phase was optimized. Using the optimized fuel quantity curve, the boiler startup time could be reduced without reducing the drum boiler life.

Abstract: Corrosion is a very common defect for pipes under the sea after some service time, and it causes a deterioration of a pipe’s strength due to the reduction of the tube wall thickness. To provide a reliable assessment on the residual strength of a pipe after corrosion is very important in the safety evaluation of such pipes. This study presented both experimental and numerical investigations on the static strength of corroded pipes. Flexural test on a corroded pipe is carried out, and the tested results prove the decrease of the static strength for this corroded specimen. Furthermore, a finite element modeling method is proposed, and the reliability of this model is evaluated through the comparison with experimental results. Using this finite element model, effect of some corrosion sizes on the residual strength of the pipes has been analyzed and discussed.

Abstract: Calculating the takeoff distance is one of important technology with airplane design and operation, which is the arm of this paper. At first, the takeoff rules include four case by FAA is discussed; then the forces on the airplane, the accelerations and the distances with different cases are formulated, and the “step integration” method to calculates the takeoff acceleration distances is used; after that, an example of calculating the takeoff distances is presented; the takeoff distances on Non-Dry runways is discussed at the end. It is also helpful to airline operation safety.

Abstract: According to the simplified mathematical model of photovoltaic cell, a kind of simulation model of Photovoltaic cell based on output characteristics is established by using MATLAB/Simulink simulation software in this paper. By using this model, the output characteristics of different types of photovoltaic cells can be simulated in different light intensity and temperature. This simulation model has a simple model structure, and the parameters of model are easy to be adjusted. Output characteristics of the photovoltaic cell can be accurately reflected, and provide a reference for the research of PV system.

Abstract: Abstract. For analyzing the frame whether meets actual driving needs, LCK6105PHENV-type hybrid (electric and gas) city bus frame as research object, using Solidworks12 and ANSYS-Workbench14 on frame, respectively, for the three-dimensional modeling and finite element analysis. Static analysis obtains frame’s stress and deformation results under the condition of bending and reversing (wheels dangling), modal analysis gets frame’s front 6 order vibration type, inherent frequency and the maximum deformation. Analyzing results shows that the frame basically can meet the design requirements, and in line with the actual needs of living and production. This research will provide references for optimization and improvement of new-energy Auto frame.

Abstract: Urinary tract infections (UTI) are common infection diseases in the hospitals, especially for the elder people. Detecting UTI for the elder people is difficult and time-consuming procedure. Since measuring nitrite directly in urine is often employed in the diagnosis of UTI, a nitrite ion selective electrode (ISE) was investigated in this study in order to detect UTI samples directly on used diapers of patients. With a commercial ISE sensor for nitrite, the detecting system was built to quickly and precisely quantify different concentrations of nitrite ions in both water solutions and real human urine samples. Good results were shown in the experiment that the nitrite can be precisely detected in the fresh urine by the ISE with the relations as Ε=224.7-21.259×Lg (C+13.476), where E is the electrode potential and C is the concentration of nitrite ions. Besides, the method of extracting urine samples from used diapers was also studied for further research. The investigation suggested that a sampling module for used diapers could be simply realized if necessary.

Abstract: In modern communication system, the spacing of channel becomes ever more finely. For communication equipment, it has made high demands on the stability and accuracy of the frequency. Based on DDS technology, combined with the multiplier circuit, we developed a high-speed X-band frequency hopping source. Experimental results show that this frequency source is with excellent frequency stability and low phase noise.
