Abstract: The Common Information Model (CIM) is an abstract data model that can be used to represent the major objects in Distribution Management System (DMS) applications. Because the CIM doesn’t modeling the Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), it can’t meet the requirements of DER operation and management for DMS advanced applications. Based on the DMS function requirements and IEC61850 DER data modal, the article established the corresponding DER information models in CIM for DMS applications integration.

Abstract: Installing heat storage tank (HST) to decouple CHP “heat-load-based” running mode, which will improve operation efficiency of CHP and enhance the ability of peak-adjusting in micro-grid (MG) system, and also be benefit for MG to consume high penetration renewable energy. For the randomness of wind turbines and photovoltaics output and the volatility of loads, a comprehensive optimization method for MG heat and electric energy based on chance-constrained programming is proposed. This method has considered thermal balance constraints and HST operation constraints, which made MG minimum operating cost as optimization goal, and optimize the output of each micro-source by genetic algorithm to form the best operation mode.

Abstract: With the rapid development of energy-saving and environmentally friendly power sources, such as solar photovoltaic and biomass power, the demand of distributed generation (DG) systems connected to the low-voltage distribution network is increasing. Distributed generation systems connected to the low-voltage distribution network will impact power quality, security and stability operation of power grid. So power companies should strengthen the supervision of DG. Based on the research of domestic and foreign DG monitoring standards, this paper sorts out the DG relevant provisions in existing distribution automation standards, and proposes some modified suggestions in the existing distribution automation standards to cope with DG connected to the distribution network.

Abstract: Aiming at the new challenge of Internet of Tings (IOT) and Cyber-Physical System (CPS), the correlative technology and its application in information perception were introduced. Intelligent perception is a synthetic technology, and its core techniques are cyber physic device and remote control. The former concerns sensor technology, embedding technology and the host device’s intelligentize, and the later concerns the adaptable development of inter-networking technology, computer technology and communication technology. It is urgent to pay attention to the confluence of physical world and information world, catch hold of the chance, and research the networked intelligent solution for Smart Distribution Grid information perception.

Abstract: Bad data detection and identification is an important part of state estimation. When the relevant bad data appears, however, there is residual pollution and residual submerged condition in currently available methods of bad data detection and identification. In view of the above problem, this article presents a double-layer bad data detection and identification technique. At first, it is based on regularization residual detection method (Rn detection method) to identify the suspect measurement sets. And then, it presents a fast search technique of interrelated suspect measurements to search interrelated measurements in all the suspect measurements of the entire power grid and produce interrelated suspect measurement sets. Furthermore, use double-layer identification method to fast identify the bad data in interrelated suspect measurement sets, in other words, identify all the bad data in entire power grid. At last, taking IEEE39 node power grid for example, this detection method of bad data is analyzed, the accuracy and effectiveness of this method is to be verified.

Abstract: In order to evaluation the operation of micro-grid comprehensively, this paper builds an index system based on our current definitions and technical characteristics of the micro-grid. There are 20 base evaluation indexes and uses analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to explain the index system from both technical and economic aspects. Through using the index system to some real region, it has been proved reliably that the index system could reflect the advantages and disadvantages of micro-grid operation intuitively. The proposed indexes have been included State Grid Company of micro-grid technical standards.

Abstract: Integrated standardization theory has been applied to work on integrated standardization for the Smart Grid Scheduling and Controlling System (SG-SCS), aiming to improve the overall quality and coordination of technical standards for dispatching and controlling in power system which help to solve practical problems. This Paper presents the definition and history of integrated standardization, and introduces the method to develop integrated standardized work for the SG-SCS which contains 4 phases: preparation phase, planning phase, standard setting or revising phase and organizing and implementing phase. The objects for integrated standardization is analyzed and determined, while the objective is addressed as well. Analysis elements related to the SG-SCS systematically and ascertain the scope of those, for target decomposition of integrated standardization. Make the complex of standards plan based on former results and determine what standards we shall set or revising. Create a detailed work plan and execute it to form a coordinated complex of technical standards. Organize the implementation of standards, with a close-looped feedback work mechanics, the overall quality and reliability of standards for SG-SCS can be ensured. By carrying out the SG-SCS integrated standardization, problems such as partly duplication or Contradiction between old standards, the overall quality of standards is promoted, which helps to the operation and control of electrical power system.

Abstract: Nowadays the disadvantages of large power grids are becoming more and more conspicous. Scholars have come to realize the importance of micro-grids. As the supplement of large power grids, the instability of micro-grids has gathered a huge amount of attention. This paper proposes a solution of the instability problem of micro-grids based on the research on AC-DC power flow. The main idea is to add AC power flow and storage power, which features stable voltage, stable current and stable output, in the micro-grids, thus solving voltage and current fluctuation and other instability problems in micro-grids.

Abstract: The inherent random and intermittence of the renewable energy resources pose a huge challenge to the Microgrid (MG) energy management systems (EMS). In order to mitigate the effects of uncertainties, we propose a novel two-stage stochastic programming model for the energy scheduling optimization by considering the uncertainties in solar and wind generation, and the plug-in electric vehicles (EV). The random nature of uncertainty is characterized by a scenarios generation approach based on autoregressive moving average (ARMA) model according to probability density function of each random variable. By use of the strategy of scenarios simulation, the stochastic problem is decomposed into the deterministic equivalent problem. The firefly algorithm (FA) is used to solve the equivalent model. The effectiveness and robust of proposed stochastic energy scheduling optimization strategy for MG is valid by comparison with the simulation results of deterministic method.
