Abstract: In this paper, a framework of 3D Real-time Garment Simulation System for character animation is presented .For the problem of computational efficiency and stability for cloth physical modeling, we proposed a cloth mass-spring model based on constraint. Take geometry sphere and cylinder as example to explaining the whole strategy which used to dealing with cloth deformable bodies colliding with environment object. We described the procedure of physically based simulation, and illustrated the result and analysis of the experiment. By using the technique of parameterized human body modelling, virtual try-on was realized with the different shape of virtual character. Finally, integrating the techniques of character animation, physically based cloth simulation and non-precise deformable object collision handling, we create the real-time simulation animation of virtual character.

Abstract: This paper introduces the advantage and disadvantage of traditional motion compensation way in the stepped-frequency Pulses radar, and analyzes the motion influence on the one-dimension range profile. On the premise of understanding the current speed compensation algorithm, this paper offers an improved method, which is the new two-step approach. This method reduces the operation and enhances the Real-time performance of system. The characteristic of this method is that proposes the concept of the minimum pulse group self adaptive speed researching range. Even though, we don’t have the premise of speed prior knowledge, it also has a well applying prospect and universality. Comparing to the algorithm previously advanced, it has more extensive applications and practicability.

Abstract: One of the most challenging problems in real-time operation of power system is the prediction of transient stability. Fast and accurate techniques are imperative to achieve on-line transient stability assessment (TSA). This problem has been approached by various machine learning algorithms, however they find a class decision estimate rather than a probabilistic confidence of the class distribution. To counter the shortcoming of common machine learning methods, a novel machine learning technique, i.e. ‘relevance vector machine’ (RVM), for TSA is presented in this paper. RVM is based on a probabilistic Bayesian learning framework, and as a feature it can yield a decision function that depends on only a very fewer number of so-called relevance vectors. The proposed method is tested on New England power system, and compared with a state-of-the-art ‘support vector machine’ (SVM) classifier. The classification performance is evaluated using false discriminate rate (FDR). It is demonstrated that the RVM classifier can yield a decision function that is much sparser than the SVM classifier while providing higher classification accuracy. Consequently, the RVM classifier greatly reduces the computational complexity, making it more suitable for real-time implementation.

Abstract: The power line communication (PLC) channel has been a transmission medium that enables to transfer high-speed digital data through the classical electrical wires. Channel characteristics of power lines are very important for communications systems design. In order to get the suitable model for power line communications analysis and improve the PLC communication quality, researchers do lots of study about the PLC channel characterizations based on actual measurement and theoretical analysis. This paper reviews the conclusions of recent studies, summaries the characteristics of PLC channel for medium voltage power lines and low voltage power lines. The further research is also put forward.

Abstract: With the improvement of national economy and living standards of the people, the demand for transport of dangerous goods is greater and greater, the traffic volume of the road dangerous goods is rising constantly. The accidents of road transport of dangerous goods happen frequently, the extent of injury that the accident causes is more and more serious, the accidents destroy and pollute the environment seriously, threaten people’s lives and properties seriously, cause the serious economic losses. This papter is to set up the indicator system of safety evaluation of road transport of dangerous goods, and put forward the countermeasure of our country’s road transport of dangerous goods pointedly, offer real guidance for carrying on road transport of dangerous goods, reduce the emergence of traffic accident of road transport of dangerous goods.

Abstract: The lift-off velocity distribution of saltating particles, which have been proposed to characterize the dislodgement state of saltating particles, is one of the key issues in the theoretical study of windblown sand transportation. But there were various statistical relations in the early researches. In this paper, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for goodness-of-fit is adopted to make an inference of the most probable form of lift-off velocity distribution functions for saltating particles on the basis of the experimental data. The statistical results show that the distribution function of vertical lift-off velocities conforms better to Weibull distribution function than to the normal, log-normal, gamma and exponential ones; while, the distribution function of the absolute values of horizontal lift-off velocities is best described by log-normal distribution in forward direction and Weibull distribution in backward direction, respectively. Finally, two more examples prove to support the above conclusions.

Abstract: The structured light can be used to extract the 3D information through obtaining the three-dimensional points from being measured object, and this method is simple, fast and accurate. However, the key factor of this process is how to inspect the stripes accurately. To improve the accuracy, in this paper, we firstly locate the stripes of the structured light roughly by use of the gray code images, and then locate it accurately by utilizing the line-shift stripes code images. Finally we turn the two dimensions search into one dimension search in the image match by using of epipolar constraint, and the intersection points of the stripes of structured light and the epipolar line are final match points. Finally, space intersection has been used to obtain three-dimensional points. Repeated experiments prove that wonderful effect can be obtained by this method.

Abstract: This paper presents a methodology for car-following models calibration with vehicle trajectory data. A two-step optimization method is performed for searching the best-fit parameters of two popular car-following models, namely, the Helly model and the IDM model. The model calibration results verify the validity of the optimization method. Based on the results of calibrations, the intra-driver heterogeneity of driving behavior between the acceleration process and the deceleration process is studied. It is found that obvious intra-driver heterogeneities exist in driving behaviours between acceleration processes and deceleration processes of car-following. Besides, some criteria are proposed for the selection of sub-trajectories corresponding to both the acceleration and the deceleration processes of car-following. This work not only develops a general approach for car-following model calibration with vehicle trajectory data, but also provides insight into the intra-driver heterogeneity in car-following behaviours.
