Abstract: A new Ca(II) complex material has been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The results showed that the compound the calcium ion lies in seven-coordinated environments, belonging to monocapped trigonal prism geometry. The complex formed one dimensional chain structure through intramolecule and intermolecule hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interaction. The antibacterial assay of the Ca(Ⅱ) complex was tested using a modified version of the 2-fold serial dilution method. The results show that the complex shows considerable antibacterial activity against escherichia coli, bacillus subtilis and staphylococcus white.

Abstract: It is of great necessity to carry out safety assessment of high risk operations in hydroelectric projects. We analyze the key problems of safety assessment of high risk operations. Specifically, a questionnaire can be designed by applying the method of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) firstly; then the factors and consequences of risks in such operations can be generated by the questionnaire and interviews; further, the relationship among those factors can be determined based on statistical analysis, and a comparison matrix of Analytic Network Process can be constructed accordingly to verify and modify the model for safety assessment; finally, based on the outcome of safety assessment, the weak point in the hydroelectric project can be revealed and monitor, so that the safety of the project can be improved.

Abstract: Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) had good field emission ability and were adopted to form the cold cathode. The backlight field emission unit (BFEU) with CNTs as field emitter was designed and fabricated, and the detailed manufacture process was also given. The flat soda-lime glass was used as substrate plate. With the photolithography process, the indium tin oxide thin film covered on the cathode plate surface was divided into bar stripes to form the meshy bottom electrode for improving the field emission properties of CNT emitters. The sealed BFEU demonstrated better field emission performance, high luminance brightness. With the simple fabrication process, the total manufacture cost was also low.

Research on the Emission Property of Cold Cathode Emitter with Enhanced Bar Electrode in a FED Panel
Abstract: Using carbon nanotube (CNT) as cathode material, the field emission display (FED) panel with enhanced bar electrode was fabricated. With the photolithography process, the indium tin oxide (ITO) film was divided to form the cathode ITO electrode. The printed silver slurry was sintered to act as the cathode silver electrode, which was prepared on the cathode ITO electrode surface. The insulation layer was also fabricated on the cathode plate. The CNT paste was screen-printed on the surface of cathode ITO electrode and cathode silver electrode to form the field emitter. The detailed fabrication process of FED panel was given, and the sealed FED panel showed better field emission properties. Because of the enhanced bar electrode, the large field emission current was obtained.

Abstract: Many questions in natural science and engineering are transformed into nonlinear equations to be found. Newton iterative method is an important technique to one dimensional and multidimensional variables and iterative process exhibits sensitive dependence on initial guess point. A composite discrete chaos dynamical system was constructed by two special discrete chaos dynamical systems and initial points were produced by proposed chaos system. For the first time, a new method based on composite discrete chaos dynamical system to obtain locate initial points to find all solutions of the nonlinear questions was proposed. The numerical examples in linkage synthesis and approximate synthesis show that the new method is correct and effective.

Abstract: Mechanism synthesis questions are transformed into nonlinear solving equations. On the basis of GuoTao algorithm, we present an elite multi-parent crossover evolutionary optimization algorithm by introducing the elite-preservation strategy and enhancing the selection pressure of parents in the process of crossover. Using the proposed optimization method, we can find quickly all solutions of nonlinear equations of mechanism synthesis. The numerical examples in linkage synthesis show that the method is correct and effective.

Abstract: Many questions in natural science and engineering are transformed into nonlinear equations to be found. Newton iterative method is an important technique to one dimensional and multi-dimensional variables and iterative process exhibits sensitive dependence on initial guess point. For the first time, a new method based on utilizing hyperchaos Chen systems to obtain locate initial points to find all solutions of the nonlinear questions and taking improved Newton iterative method was proposed and it has higher solving efficiency compared with chaos Chen systems. The numerical examples in linkage synthesis and approximate synthesis show that the proposed method is correct and effective.

Abstract: The study, based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), investigates the determinants of e-learning acceptance. We create a cross-level variable of the incentive and social influence to explore with the other variable context effect and the interaction effects in the acceptance of e-learning. Data collected from 932 respondents in Taiwan were tested against the research model using the hierarchical linear model approach. This model improved Yu, Liao, Wen’s research to detailed intended the learning environment. The results showed that individual-level variables (performance expectations, effort expectancy, perceived behavioral control), and group-level variables (incentive, social influence) have a positive effect on behavioral intention. The incentive has an effect on behavioral intention through the moderating role of manager influence.

Abstract: A human color feature extraction method based on the improved Mean shift algorithm and kernel density estimation was proposed with respect to the human feature extraction in the video surveillance system with multi-cameras. It first gets suitable region partition of each person through the improved Mean shift algorithm. Afterwards, kernel density estimation is done to each region’s pixels to attain the color density function. Then, the color feature extraction of each person is realized. The proposed method could attain accurate color model because it automatically gets reasonable region division not by fixed region division fashion, but by human appearance color distribution. Experimental results show the method’s feasibility and robustness. It lays foundation of the human tracking with multi-cameras.

Abstract: The Internet is filled with opportunities for learning, communicating, and sharing information. It is a valuable resource for children and adults alike. Like any large community, however, the online world presents some underlying risks, especially for children. Parents need to be aware of some of the potential problems their children could encounter, and try to take adequate measures to protect their children from injury. In this paper, research will try to explore the relationship between parent’s information literary, the confidence in child’s ability of self-defense on the internet, and adequate measures to promote child using the internet more effectively. Association rules, a kind of data mining strategies, will be the main tool to manipulate the dataset. Apriori, a classic algorithm for learning association rules, is designed to operate on databases containing transactions.
