Abstract: By using Bisphenol A bis (diphenyl) phosphate ester (BDP) and a kind of Intumescent Flame Retardant (IFR) as Halogen-free Flame Retarding (HFFR), flame retarded oil-extended hydrogenated styrene-butylenes-styrene (SEBS) were prepared. The samples were systemically characterized by TGA, LOI and FESEM; influence of BDP and IFR for oil-extended SEBS was compared. The results showed that BDP can improve thermal decomposition temperature of SEBS; while the IFR retardant can produce remarkable residual chars to improve SEBS’s decomposition temperature; meanwhile BDP and the IFR retardant can bring synergistic effects in the flame retardancy for the oil-extended SEBS.

Abstract: Alkaline etchants was a conventional process in monocrystalline silicon texturing. In the paper, A new etchant,Sodium Dodecyl Sulfonate (CH3(CH2)10CH2SO3Na) solution, was firstly applied to texture monocrystalline silicon used for solar cells. Uniform pyramids about 2µm in the wafer of monocrystalline silicon were formed with low concentration of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfonate (CH3(CH2)10CH2SO3Na)at 75°C for 20min. This etchant has a lot of advantage, such as low cost, no pollution and good reproducibility, so maybe is suitable for the 1arge-scale production.

Abstract: This research studies a brand new Magnesium Lithium Alloy, LAZ1151, with trace Sc additions. The mechanical properties and microstructures of the as-cast and alloys after three and six month aging were observed and analyzed. Microstructure and XRD confirms the existence of α phase precipitates (Mg rich) in both as-cast and aging specimens of the alloy. Grain growth was observed in the alloy after room temperature aging. The tensile strength of the as-cast LAZ1151 is 147 MPa; the value is decreased to 135 MPa after six month aging, showing typical room temperature softening. Strengthening via the use of cold rolling was tried; a maximum tensile strength of 180 MPa was achieved after 90% rolling reduction, which is mainly due to strain hardening.

Abstract: Pervaporation performances of three –layer zeolite-filled poly (vinyl alcohol) composite membranes have been investigated for ethanol dehydration. Compared the neat polymer counterparts, high separation factor and high fluxes are both achieved by these membranes, indicating that ethanol/water separation is enhanced with the zeolites. Zeolites used include 3A, 4A, 5A, NaX, NaY, silicalite-1 and Beta. Through evaluating separation factor, ethanol flux and total pervaporation flux, separation performances of composite membranes are elucidated in detail in terms of the zeolite pore size, its hydrophilic/hydrophobic nature as well as its crystal framework.

Abstract: Due to the excellent anticorrosion performance, zinc-aluminum coatings are widely used in a variety of structural applications, and most are exposed to atmosphere especially marine atmosphere. In this paper, weight loss experiment and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technology were used to comparatively study the corrosion behavior of zinc-aluminum coatings in stimulant marine atmosphere. Experimental results show that the anticorrosion performance of GL coating was better than that of GF coating and the length of drying period had obviously influence on the corrosion behavior of GF and GL coating.

Abstract: Moisture content of Quercus mongolica Fisch was detected by use of electrical resistance method under 30~80°C, and the real moisture content of it was obtained with weight method. Based on experimental data two empirical models were established among real moisture content, temperature and measured moisture content which were detected by moisture content apparatus with temperature compensated and without temperature compensated, respectively. Results indicated that measured moisture content of Quercus mongolica Fisch had a good agreement with the real moisture content after the measured moisture content was corrected by any of the above two empirical models under 30~80°C and 7~29% moisture content.

Abstract: Micro-dissection technology possesses revolutionary significance in the research field about Cancer Genomics, through which pure population of targeted cells can be procured from tissue sections for subsequent analysis. In this paper, a novel Micro-dissection technology using ultrasonic vibration was proposed and the piezo-powered micro-dissection tool with its control and drive system were also developed. The micro-dissection tool employs the multilayer piezoelectric actuator for generating the ultrasonic vibration with high frequency and low amplitude. To control the piezo-powered Micro-dissection tool, a driving power for piezoelectric actuator was designed using direct digital synthesizer and direct current amplifying principle, thus the micro-dissection tool could vibrate with the frequency scope from 0.5k to50K and the amplitude scope from 0 to 2μm. Finally, experiments about bio-microdissection on liver tissue slice were carried out with the tool and better micro-dissection result was obtained. The experiments show the feasibility of the micro-dissection method with ultrasonic vibration. The new micro-dissection method can be adopted in the bio-micro-manipulation field and it can also significantly promote the development of Cancer Genomics.

Abstract: PE is modified basically with inorganic matter (generally CaCO3) and some auxiliaries, but because of the interattraction of the particles, CaCO3 is easy to agglomerate, so we must add some dispersants(generally stearic acid ) ,but some study suggested that, with stearic acid , tensile strength, yield strain and ultimate elongation reduced. But we find that adding dicumyl peroxide and Maleic Anhydride can make up for the defects even increase these properties. As initiator and crosslinker ,dicumyl peroxide is usually used in synthesis of polymers. And is also Maleic Anhydride. However,in this experiment, we add a certain amount of them, dicumyl peroxide initiated Maleic Anhydride to ingraft, also,it initiated the molecular chains of PE to be cross-linked. So, the tensile properties of HDPE–calcium carbonate composites increased obviously, nevertheless ,we must add appropriate amount, if exceeded ,the mechanical properties would reduce.

Abstract: An electrode coating slag system CaO-CaF2-BaO-TiO2-SiO2 has been designed after analyzing several domestic and abroad basic slag system. In view of uniform design method and computer program, the experiments were arranged. Nine to eleven coating components were taken as independent variables and they were divided into five levels in all twenty-nine experiments. Four mechanical properties and diffusible hydrogen content of weld deposited metal were taken as target functions. The data were analyzed with mathematical and statistic software. The results give the influencing trend figures of coating components on mechanical properties and diffusible hydrogen content and interrelation multinomial mathematic models between independent variables and functions. With these trend figures and mathematic models, the adjusting direction of improving mechanical properties and decreasing diffusible hydrogen content of weld deposited metal can be inquired, and target functions optimization searching have been done.

Abstract: Aqueous solutions have found broad usages as lubricants, in conjunction with other possible utilizations, such as in metal working and other industries. Due to the inferior lubricity, functional additives are needed to improve their tribological performances among which aqueous surfactants are exclusively included. The film forming property of aqueous solution with polyethoxylated ether added (PEOE) is measured, taking consideration of the influences of the temperature and the concentration. The addition of PEOEs into aqueous solutions will largely increase the film forming capacity. But the concentration has only a minor influence on the lubrication property of the aqueous solutions with PEOEs. The cloud point will strongly alter the film forming characteristics.
