Abstract: Non-linear analysis of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) block masonry composite wall with reinforced concrete (RC) core columns has been conducted using finite element software ABAQUS. First, the numerical results from finite element analysis were verified with laboratory results of full-scale AAC masonry wall specimens. Effects of vertical stress on seismic performance were investigated. The analysis indicates that lateral load capacity of the wall is affected by the openings greatly and increased with the increase of vertical stress. The effect of vertical stress on the wall without openings is more obvious than that with openings.

Abstract: The finite model of the oil tank was built, and model analysis and seismic response analysis were studied,Vertical and horizontal dynamic response and the structural integral displacement ratio and X/Y directional stress and Y directional bending moment and were gained under Seismic Loads. The analysis can supply the more scientific basis for aseismatic design of the oil tank.

Abstract: Until now, there have been no reasonable methods for optimizing the design plan of old industrial building regeneration utilization project.Aiming to the self-characteristics of the old industrial regeneration utilization project, the application deficiency of the regular analytic hierarch process existing in the project is going to be researched, as is improved from the analysis process, consistency check and weight confirm in order to make the design plan of the old industrial building regeneration utilization project scientific and reasonable.

Abstract: Focused on the dynamical collapse of large-span spatial structure, this paper uses giant magnetostrictive material to design a kind of new GMM actuator, which could be used in active vibration control of large-span spatial structure. The genetic algorithm has been used to optimize the position of actuators in large-span spatial structure and the structure of fuzzy control system is introduced. A standard fuzzy logic controller is designed. Fuzzy control routine established by the matlab software is used to carry on the active control simulation analysis on the long-span spatial structures. The research shows that the GMM actuator has fine actuating effectiveness, and can improve the computational efficiency of optimization design at the same time. The genetic algorithm also achieves the overall optimization of the structure and the effect to the fuzzy control is obvious.

Abstract: To mitigate liquefaction hazard, real-time liquefaction monitoring technique is investigated. And the reverse liquefaction detection method from seismic records is the key point. The existing methods are limited and the reliability requires test. In 2011, an earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck in New Zealand's South Island. Serious liquefaction phenomena were reported, which provides an opportunity to verify the existing liquefaction detection methods. Twenty-seven acceleration records within 50km to the epicenter are selected to perform a blind detection for existing two methods, including Suzuki and Sun-Yuan method. The blind detection results indicate that Sun-Yuan method obtains correct results for three known liquefied sites, and both method are correct for a reported non-liquefied site. The number of identically detected results is 22 by two methods. The identified results will be verified by actual observation for the 23 sites excluding 4 confirmed sites.

Abstract: The fractional derivative Winkler viscoelastic foundation model is established by introducing the concept of fractional derivative. The control equations of free vibration of elastic Timoshenko beam on fractional derivative Winkler viscoelastic foundation are also built by considering the shear deformation and rotary inertia, and the control equations of elastic Timoshenko beam are decoupled by using the deformation function and considering the properties of fractional derivative, and the expressions of deflection and section corner of elastic Timoshenko beam on fractional derivative Winkler viscoelastic foundation are obtained. The influences of fractional derivative order and shear shape factor on the free vibration of elastic Timoshenko beam are discussed by numerical example.

Abstract: Debonding of concrete occurs when the interface principal stress reaches the ultimate tensile strength. We propose the use of carbon fiber plate attached to the beam bottom, which makes finite element analysis of the mechanical properties of debonding concrete beams more reasonable. In addition, formulas of this theory are given and applied in the finite element analysis. Finally, it is shown by a number of experimental results.

Abstract: The catastrophic floods in Jilin province on July 28th 2010 led to the serious multiple bridges and culverts flood hazards in the roads in eastern mountainous area, and brought about the inestimable economic losses. In order to effectively strengthen prevention and set up the reasonable measures of management bridges and culverts flood hazard, on the basis of the survey of bridges and culverts flood hazard along the road, we analysed the reason of it. After that we put forward the measures of the prevention and cure, which including the measures of the design, construction, management, maintenance etc. Based on the above survey of the bridges and culverts flood hazard, we found that its prevention and cure should find the main reason of causing bridges and culverts flood hazard, make the prevention coming first, pay various attention to bridges and culverts flood hazard, its occurrence can get effective control.

Abstract: To study the anti-seismic performance of Lock-up device, the two computational models which are respectively uninstalled Lock-up device and installed Lock-up device on the arch bridge are established. Nonlinear time-history analyses are carried out by the Midas/Civil software in this paper. The interaction between pile and soil is considered in the analyses. The results show that the maximum shear forces of the tops and the maximum bending moments of the bottoms of all piers are quite uniform after the LUD are installed and that the displacements of the top of the fixed pier has been decreased.

Abstract: Eight factors such as slope, incision density, incision depth, average annual rainfall, average annual >50mm rainfall days, soil types, river density, and vegetation cover ratio were used to quantify the Landslide Predict Index for highway in China. Using digital elevation data, rainfall data, thematic map of soil and river, remote sensing data of Spot/vegetation NVDI, these factors were calculated base on spatial analysis, hydrologic analysis, geostatistical analysis supported by ArcInfo9 software. The factors weights were confirmed by applying of expert estimation. The calculation results indicate that a highly spatial heterogeneity exists in the landslide Predict index for highway in China. Considering the maximum and minimum value of the index, the Landslide Predict Index for highway is divided into five levels. The landslide hazard zoning for highway is carried out base on the Landslide Predict Index mainly, then the landslide hazard zoning map for highway in China is formed.
