Abstract: Measurement while drilling (MWD) is the key for underground directional drilling in coalmine. In this paper, an uphole monitor for MWD is developed to process and display downhole measure data. Firstly, an explosion-proof computer is developed, which can be used in explosive gas atmosphere. The flameproof enclosure and intrinsic safe type of protection have been employed to meet the needs of explosion-proof and communication with measure unit. A Windows-based software is subsequently developed to show the measure result and generate the in-seam drilling trajectory. The uphole monitor has been integrated into directional drilling system and demonstrated by the application in China’s coalmines.

Abstract: ICCD is one of the opto-electronic image sensors, commonly used in neutron low-light-level imaging system and the coupling of CCD and Image-Intensifier is the key technology in ICCD. This paper discussed the structure of ICCD, and simulated the coupling of relay lens, cone fibers and grin lens based on ZEMAX. We analyzed and checked their parameters such as geometric image, MTF, coupling efficiency, etc. Experimental results show that: The coupling of relay lens has high image quality; the coupling of cone fibers has high coupling efficiency; the performance of grin lens falls in between.

Abstract: This paper analyses the application of Kalman Filter (KF) in Power Lithium-ion Battery SOC (State of Charge) estimation algorithm. After the analysis of two popular SOC estimate algorithm based on KF, an improved KF-SOC algorithm is proposed. The main advance of this improved algorithm is the introduction of parameter-rectification. The parameter-rectification which based on analysis of battery electrochemical principle and battery terminal voltage response curve is also achieved by KF. The main algorithm of improved KF-SOC is generated by the combination of KF and Ampere-hour integrated method. Later the simulations proved the new algorithm with high accuracy.

Abstract: The bipolar resistive switching characteristic of Ag/poly-NiO/Nb:SrTiO3/In device has been investigated in this letter. The current-voltage characteristics of the device shows reproducible and pronounced bipolar resistive switching after 2V forming process and the resistive switching ratio RHRS/RLRS can reach 104 at the read voltage -0.5V. Multilevel memories can be realized by changing the max reverse voltages and show well retention characteristic even after several sweeping cycles. The results have been discussed in terms of carrier injection process via defects at the interface of the poly-NiO and Nb:SrTiO3.

Abstract: It is necessary to count number of qualified modules in IC packaging industry. Now popular method is manually done, which is not only inaccurate but also damage for modules. A set of counting device for contact IC module is developed here, in which optical fiber sensor technology is used. The sensor signals are sent to PLC, the number of qualified modules is obtained by logical relation. The operation of the device and the display of results are implemented by the human machine interface. The device has the advantages of simple structure and convenient operation. The device also can ensure reliability and precision during high speed transportation of the IC module tape. At the same time, there are no negative effect on the appearance and performance of contact IC modules.

Abstract: This paper introduces a technical improvement scheme for aviation engine ignition system, due to the reason that existing aircraft engine ignition system uses one machine type and each engine ignition system can not be interchangeable in present situation .It also presents a general ignition circuit structure and fast specialty setting method, both of which have been simulated by Multism software. And the results of simulation show that the airline engine general ignition system can meet the requirements of ignition technology parameters for all engines by setting quickly. The technology has significant influence in improving general use of airline engine spare parts, simplifying the engine maintenance system and increasing the warplanes attendance.

Abstract: We present a new transmit strategy based on modified Alamouti codes for the simple two branch transmit diversity scheme. The OFDM payload cells from the output of the frequency interleaver is done on one transmit antenna, and the encoding is proceeded on another branch. The proposed encoding scheme can significantly simplify the processes of transforming SISO into MIMO in wireless communication systems. The scheme may easily be generalized to two transmit antennas and M receive antennas to provide a diversity order of 2M, its coding gain is similar to Alamouti code. Computer simulations are performed to investigate the performance of the proposed parallel STBC scheme in a multi-input (MI) system.

Abstract: More attention is paid to on-line monitoring of biofouling in industrial water process systems. Combined optical fiber self-referencing technology with artificial neural networks (ANN) technology, real time detection technique for forming thickness and ingredient is put forward, which provides technical support and reliable data for analyzing biofouling influencing factors, contaminant separation and warning. Unclad fiber sensing mechanism and self-referencing fiber optic sensor are presented. Compensation technology based on radial basis function (RBF) neural network and learning algorithm are studied in order to solve the problem of measurement precision and range. Biofouling forming and optical characteristics in industrial real water systems are researched. A new method is provided for the research on biofouling in real water system, which can be used in other fields such as mining, environment protection, medical treatment and transportation of oil, gas and water.

Abstract: Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem, a same controller in the form is designed to achieve the global synchronization and anti-synchronization of the chaotic modified Chua's circuits. The controller obtained in this paper is simpler than those obtained in the existing results, and it is a linear single input controller. Numerical simulations verify the correctness and the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results

Abstract: UCAV data link capability is introduced on the paper. The special battle demand of UCAV data link is analyzed. Several schemes are put forward based on TCP to UCAV battle communication problem. They are compared on the paper and show the results. At last, the results are analyzed.
