Abstract: The objective of this paper is to apply the Taguchi method with fuzzy inference for optimization the design of an ultrathin centrifugal fan with multiple performance characteristics. The weight of fuzzy rule controlling the system can be adjusted in this study. Taguchi’s concepts of orthogonal array, signal to noise (S/N) ratio, ANOVA, and weight of fuzzy rule were used to study the multiple-objectives in the ultrathin centrifugal fan design. The results showed that: (1) the inlet dimensions have a significant influence on the volume flow rate, whereas outlet dimensions, inlet dimensions and blade angle have a significant effect on the static pressure; (2) appropriate adjustments the weight of fuzzy rule can be obtained a better design parameters for the objective.

Abstract: Wood saving and substitution is an effective means to relieve the imbalance between wood supply and demand in China. The packaging of electromechanical products consumes a considerable amount of wood, so the promotion of wood saving and substitution in the packaging of electromechanical products has significant meaning in saving quality timber and protecting forest resources and ecological environments. This paper presents the research on key technologies in the field of wood saving and substitution of packing of electromechanical products to resolve problems with substitute materials, manufacturing equipment, technological process and standardization in the field of wood saving and substitution in packaging of electromechanical products in China.

Abstract: For the Complexity of off-grid type wind power generation &supply system and disturb of the load, an inverter based on improved z-source and single-phase &single polarity circuit for off-grid type wind power generation was designed. Results of Compared simulation and experiment indicated that the inverter designed in this paper was effective and reliable when applied to off-grid type wind power generation.

Abstract: Based on agronomic analysis and harvest characteristics for bananas, the structural solution simulating action of a person manually picking bananas was proposed according to structural design and bionic principle, which was consisted of rotary mechanism, lifting mechanism, and shift mechanism, the body mechanical model of the picking bananas manipulator was established, the function, structure and dimension relationship of every mechanism were detailed analyzed. Assemble model of the picking bananas manipulator was developed employing Solidworks software, work space for the mechanism was analyzed. The validity mechanism solution having been verified could provide a theoretical basis for picking manipulator primary design.

Abstract: According to control problems of surrounding rock at isolated island coal face, taking isolated island coal 1251(3)face ventilation tunnel of PanSan mine as engineering background, this paper puts forward three reinforcement schemes based on the idea of turning later recovery to former reinforcement. Simulation has been done on the character of surrounding rock stress and deformation distribution and supporting structure force of three different schemes by FLAC3D. Finally optimal scheme is the third scheme. The application result show that anchor-net-cable support combined with anchor grouting support has got a good effect. The large deformation of surrounding rock is controlled efficiently and tunnel surrounding rock stable is guaranteed. The study provides a basis for goaf-side entry surrounding rock control under similar conditions.

Abstract: In this paper, the sizes of springs which were made of beryllium bronze QBe1.9 and the aging characteristics were analyzed, a set of design scheme of fixture was developed and the design process of the fixture was completed by CAD and Pro/E software. There were some fresh design features suh as a two-plate symmetry pressurized, the design of spherical head of the fastening bolts and different dimension and specification locating pins etc. The results showed that the design of the fixture structure was simple, reasonable and the designed fixture was easy to install and uninstall.

Abstract: A cost estimation method is required to estimate the life cycle cost of a product family at the early stage of product development in order to evaluate the product family design. There are difficulties with existing cost estimation techniques in estimating the life cycle cost for a product family at the early stage of product development. This paper proposes a framework that combines a knowledge based system and an activity based costing techniques in estimating the life cycle cost of a product family at the early stage of product development. The inputs of the framework are the product family structure and its sub function. The output of the framework is the life cycle cost of a product family that consists of all costs at each product family level and the costs of each product life cycle stage. The proposed framework provides a life cycle cost estimation tool for a product family at the early stage of product development using high level information as its input. The framework makes it possible to estimate the life cycle cost of various product family that use any types of product structure. It provides detailed information related to the activity and resource costs of both parts and products that can assist the designer in analyzing the cost of the product family design. In addition, it can reduce the required amount of information and time to construct the cost estimation system.

Abstract: The semi-automation stretcher-vehicle is used to rescue people in various situations. The vehicle is designed with certain new features, including power-drive, semi-automation, and the capability to climb stairs and go over obstacles. It is equipped with Servo Motors, triangular wheels with tracks, lifting device and so on. This structure realizes the semi-automation in the rescue process and solves the main problems of traditional stretchers, like their low moving speed, inefficiency, instability and so on. Besides, the stretcher could keep horizontal when it is climbing slopes, so it could keep the patient comfortable and prevent him from injury.

Abstract: Oil spill emergency response is a way of controlling and cleaning oil spill fast and effectively according to emergency plan; it would decrease the pollution of oil spill. Refer to the vessel oil spill emergency response system status of China, based on the research of vessel oil spill emergency response system, this paper analyzes the function and parameter of a variety of oil spill emergency equipments, then does 3d modeling to WQJ1000 oil containment boom, this is of special interest to the oil spill emergency response system simulation.

Abstract: Combined with China's demand for space station construction, a new type of lock system for end effector is developed. This grapple mechanism makes grappling, pulling and rigidization in one mechanism which is simple construction and high reliability. The composition and the working principle of this grapple mechanism are introduced. Then, the singularity of the mechanism is analyzed and its kinematics equations are established. The parameter variations are obtained by using PROE. The results show that the working process adapts to the variation of the motion and force between the end effector and target adapter perfectly.
