Abstract: Efficient remanufacturing of end-of-life (EOL) products is crucial for environment friendly production. Disassembly is part of the remanufacturing and it is meant to obtain components and materials from end-of-life products. An essential performance objective of a disassembly process is the benefits it brings, that is the revenue brought by the retrieved parts and material, diminished by the cost of their retrieval operations. A decision must be taken to balance the disassembly production system. In this paper, a multi-agent system (MAS) is presented to optimize the remanufacturing process of EOL products. The MAS offers a synthesized information platform for various tasks, e.g. product/manufacturing information processing, disassembly sequencing, solution performance assessing, and processes scheduling. On one hand, the MAS could retrieve much information related design/manufacturing resources, by multi-level data obtaining mechanism. On the other hand, this information will make the prospective integrated environment for profitable remanufacturing system planning more feasible.

Abstract: Sustainable development has become the key strategy in global economic development. Green package which plays a crucial role in developing low carbon economy, contributes a lot to sustainable development. Based on the principles of green package design—reduce , reuse, recycle and degradable, this paper is devoted to provide some suggestions on the practice of green package design from the following three perspectives: develop new technology to innovate product packaging terminal, adopt traditional Chinese packaging principles to promote Chinese green package design and adjust design idea to include package recycling design.

Abstract: The selection principle and the arrangement demand of the aircraft cable are proposed to solve the problem of being difficult to lay the cable. Because the cable network is subject to the electromagnetic interference of the electronic and electrical equipments in the aircraft inevitably, the measuring and testing technique of the line-to-line electromagnetic coupling is studied, and the method of the electromagnetic interference suppression is obtained.

Abstract: The craft industry is a part of culture and creative industries, and the Chinese knot is one of ancient handicraft products in China. Noted that the Chinese knot contains the quintessence of China's thousands of years of history and culture. If a new and creative idea can be input to the traditional design of Chinese knots, it may create a new appearance and life of these knots. This paper intends to add an element of new technology into traditional Chinese knots. The object is use of LED lighting to reshape the style and the value of Chinese knots. Both new design concepts and methods of Chinese knots with LED lighting have been proposed and implemented to stimulate the creativity of design and the development of products.

Abstract: The cigarette packaging material is an important material, a thin flexible, fibrous web consisting of cellulose fibers deposited upon each other, randomly oriented in the plane of the packaging materials. The coating layer properties have a connection to print quality via the ink absorption speed and volume capacity. Too slow speed at the coating materials surface means that the colorants have more time to mix together and bleeding problems are more visible. This paper studies the design of cigarette packaging materials as well as its printability.

Abstract: In TRIZ theory, Fuzzy Front End (FFE) is the stage of forming idea in New Product Development (NPD) process. A method combining UED and Kano model is proposed and applied to FFE of TRIZ theory. User study theory and methods in User-Experience Design (UED) are used to collecting user demand for new product, and Kano model is used to analyze the priority of user demands and translate user demands into function demands. The design of mobile application is illustrated as an example, this method is proved to be a perfect solution to form the design idea through analysis of user demand in FFE stage of new product development.

Abstract: To solve the problems which refer to share of design resources, and realize reasonable matching of design ability in the collaborative design process of complex product, a new Missile Design Service Platform based on Virtual Design Unit (MDSP-VDU) is proposed. Firstly, main function modules and characteristics of MDS-VDU are described. Secondly, key technologies including design resource virtualization, Virtual Design Unit construction, service description rules design services separation and combination,design process customization, VDUs scheduling are introduced. Thirdly, prototype system of MDS-VDU is built and displayed. Some theories about MDS-VDU have been applied in the implementation of missile design service platform and virtual resource management system in the Group-oriented enterprise CMfg Platform. Finally, application results show that MDSP-VDU is feasible.

Abstract: The industrialisation and modern civilisation were ever being the landmark signs for European social modernisation. Its birth strongly suggested a series cause of remarkable social and historical change, and the reasons of modern design arise as well. Under such a view, it was revealed that the industrial manufacturing and technology became the first reason of modern design and presented a basic support for design’s modernisation. Meanwhile, the progress of industrial engineering gave a further effect on the development of modern design, where the progress in public architecture and civil engineering created new standards of structure, materials as well as of new aesthetic styles for design. Moreover, modern design also showed the relationship with European social systems and culture, for the latter, as the institutional or cultural factors, dominated the functions of technology and engineering practice to modern design movements.

Abstract: This paper uses modern products design style to analysis new peculiarities hiding in the new modern products, and combing the examples in life to analysis the different design logos that products design have in the new form. And it clears the future trends of products design in which foundation, we propose the Art sublimation of modern product design, it including the Traditional Art Extension in modern product design, the using of “Subconscious” ideal in the product design and the product “redesign”. At last it discusses the relationship of” Low-carbon” and the modern products design.

Abstract: Depending on the demand of structure model in product configuration design, product types that can be configured are described and analyzed. Based on semantic networks as a kind of available knowledge representation form and Extend A/O tree, structural model of configurable product is put forward. The structural relation, assembly relation and configuring option relation are included, semantic relation among assembly parts is also expressed. Finaly, configurable node model is proposed.
