Abstract: Fertilizer application was optimized for cultivating medicinal plant Dioscorea zingiberensis (C. H. Wrights) in this study. The rotational orthogonal combinatory design was employed in selecting field parameters. The yield of D. zingiberensis and net production were used as the targeting function. A regression model was established. Through comprehensive analysis, the optimized scheme was proposed

Abstract: objective: To screen differential proteins or protein groups with stem cell characteristics.methods: Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis was used to separate total proteins from intestinal side population cells and intestinal epithelial cells of neonatal mice. Proteins which were differentially expressed more than 1.5 times were selected for mass spectrometry analysis as well as database retrieval and identification. results: The two-dimensional electrophoresis patterns of intestinal side population cells and intestinal epithelial cells were successfully established to screen 39 differential protein spots. Thirty-two kinds of proteins were identified using the mass spectrometry analysis and database retrieval. conclusion: There were differences between the protein expression profiles of mouse intestinal epithelial cells and stem cells. The identified 32 kinds of proteins may become potential and valuable molecular markers for identification of intestinal stem cells.

Abstract: A moderately halophilic bacteria strain with cellulase (CMCase) activity, ZSCW-10, which can survive under wide range of NaCl concentration (1 %~15 %, w/v) and pH (4.5~9.0), was isolated from the sediment of intertidal zone located in the Xiangshan Island, Zhejiang Province. The strain was identified based on 16S rDNA sequence determination and phylogenetic analysis together with its morphological and physiological characterization. The results indicated that the 16S rDNA homologies were 97% between strain ZSCW-10 and some strains of Halomonas sp.. The phylogenetic tree was constructed with Molecular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis version 5 (MEGA5), showed the closest relationship between strain ZSCW-10 and Halomonas venusta. Based on its physiological and biochemical properties, homology and phylogenetic analysis, strain ZSCW-10 was identified as a subspecies of Halomonas sp.. The optimum culture conditions were: NaCl 6.0%, 32°C, pH 7.5.

Abstract: To provide scientific data of the chloroplast TrnL-F sequences for the authentication of Pulsatilla chinesis (Bge) Regel, we extracted the genome DNA from the leaves of Pulsatilla koreana Nakai. and Potetilla chinesis Ser. collected in Jilin Province, amplified the chloroplast TrnL-F region using universal primers and sequenced the purified PCR products directly. The obtained sequences were edited by Genetyx and reported here.

Abstract: To provide scientific data of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences for the authentication of Pulsatilla chinesis (Bge) Regel, we extracted the genome DNA from the leaves of Pulsatilla koreana Nakai. and Potetilla chinesis Ser. collected in Jilin Province, amplified the ITS region using ITS universal primers of angiosperm, and sequenced the purified PCR products directly. Polymorphism of ITS sequences was found within P. chinensis Ser. and the sequence data suggested that our samples of this species might be related to hybridization. The obtained sequences were edited by Genetyx and reported here.

Abstract: Fetal electrocardiogram (FECG) separation gets widely attention due to its clinical significance. In the paper, we proposed an improved robust independent component analysis for fetal ECG separation. Firstly, wavelet decomposition was applied to fetal ECG to get the relevant parameters. Then, the RobustICA was used to separate the mixed signals. Compared to robust independent component analysis, computing speed of the improved algorithm increased by an average of 15 percent while minimum mean square error fluctuations 0.0008, which indicated that this algorithm could be effectively used in clinical fetal ECG monitoring.

Abstract: In this paper, the complexity analysis method based on Jensen-Shannon Divergence was used to calculate the complexity of the Idle states, the close eyes states and the count numbers states electroencephalogram. The study found that the JSD value of close eyes states EEG was highest, followed by that of the Idle states EEG, and that of the count numbers states EEG was minimum. The result can be used to assisted clinical diagnosis.

Abstract: In this paper the issue of respiratory complications following acute spinal cord injury with reference to the area of high dependency care is considered. It will deal with the pathophysiology behind acute spinal cord injury and its effect on the respiratory system, while discussing the interventions used to prevent these complications. A multitude of therapeutic interventions in the care of respiratory complications has been identified. And positioning, chest physiotherapy and assisted coughing techniques will be considered in this paper.

Abstract: This study examined RNEF with scanning electron microscope (SEM), for surface flaws, internal voids and inclusions. Six commercial brands of 4% taper RNEF: PF (#25, 25mm, Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties, Tulsa, OK), GTX (#20, 25mm, Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties, Tulsa, OK), NRT (#25, 25mm, MANI Inc., Tochigi, Japan), FKG (#25, 25mm, FKG, Dentaire), K3 (#25, 25mm) and TF (Twisted File #25, 27mm) (Sybron Kerr, Orange, CA) were examined. Full length and 4mm segment of each RNEF brand was mounted in Al plate for surface morphology and conductive epoxy resin for cross-sectional imaging with SEM (JEOL JSM-820) respectively. EDX spectrum was collected from specimens with EDX spectrometer coupled to SEM. EDX software was used for quantitative analysis. This study demonstrated the existence of surface flaws as machining marks, notches, crevices, fissures and pits. Internal voids of micro-to sub-micrometer magnitude were observed. Ti-rich inclusions were found dispersed in the equiatomic to near-equiatomic NiTi substrate of RNEF. Surface flaws, internal voids and inclusions were common findings on RNEF studied. Their effects on the corrosion and fatigue resistance of RNEF deserve further investigation.

Abstract: In this paper, symbolic relative entropy was used to analyze normal electrocardiogram (ECG), the ECG taken from patient with congestive heart failure (CHF) and Atrial fibrillation (AF). Statistical testing showed that the symbolic relative entropy of normal ECG was distinctly higher than that of CHF while the symbolic relative entropy of CHF was distinctly higher than that of AF. It discoved that symbolic relative entropy can be used to analyze the different pathological ECG which could be used to assisted clinical diagnosis.
