Abstract: The windlass-anchor system is the equipment to use the anchor. The windlass-anchor system is composed by the gear system. The windlass should design to have the structural stability because the windlass is tolerated the weight of the anchor and the ship. In order to determine the structural stability, the stress analysis is performed and the optimum backlash is selected. In order to consider the vibration and the noise, the modal analysis is performed and the result is compared with the exciting frequency. If the result of stress is less than allowable stress, the optimum backlash what is the quiet and is good at the mobility is selected, and the natural frequency does not equal to the exciting frequency, the gear system has the validity of the design.

Abstract: The objective of this study is to propose the effective method of reducing the maximum contact pressure at the contact edge of press-fitted shaft by optimizing the location and the size of stress relief groove in hub face. Finite element analysis was performed in order to determine the contact pressure and stress state on a press-fitted assembly and optimization were applied to select optimal size and location of stress relief groove. In order to reduce the cost of optimization design, approximation optimization method is used and the optimum results obtained by Sequential Quadratic Programming and genetic algorithm are compared. Optimized results show that the maximum contact pressure at the contact edge of press-fitted shaft with optimal stress relief groove decreased about 30%. And the both optimization algorithms can effectively reduced the maximum contact pressure at the contact edge of press-fitted shaft.

Abstract: Pick is a hand-held machine of the air power machinery, using compressed air as power, hit a rundown coal and ore body or other objects. In the working process of the pneumatic pick, pick cylinder under different loading easily lead to early obsolescence. In order to improve the impact resistance performance to pick picks, prolong the service life of pneumatic pick, based on the digital design method for pneumatic pick pick cylinder is modeled, and based on the simulated stress analysis, for the process improvement, improve its mechanical performance, reduce the waste of raw materials.

Abstract: In order to shorten development cycle, expand the movement space, increase the flexibility of manipulator and reduce weight, parameterized model of manipulator has been established based on the elaborate analyses of the manipulator's structure characteristics and working mechanism. Statics simulation of stiffness has done under the load by using ANSYS, which can prove that the structure that meet the practical needs is rational. Total deformation can meet the requirements when calculation had been finished according to the results of simulation. At last we provide some theory references for further optimization of structure.

Abstract: With the application of ergonomics in product design increasingly widely, humanization design of products has become a new revolution in the field of design. Based on the study of ergonomics, taking the forklift as an example, combined with the human body size data, operating characteristics and other factors, this paper analyzes the forklift cockpit human factors, such as the overall space layout, the human-machine interface design and the manipulation device arrangement, and proposes the concept of people-oriented forklift cockpit design. The research has taken an important step in this area of the modified forklift cockpit.

Abstract: To solve the problem that fixture planning of the batch valve-body part of car, the NC machining process of the batch valve-body parts based on the normal vector is analyzed in this paper. The different fixture planning of the valve-body part based on the capabilities of three-axis and four-axis and five-axis NC machining center (MC) is discussed. According to the questions that the feature of different machined position holes and faces of valve-body part on three-axis NC machining center, the multi-piece fixture planning and multi-position rotational fixture planning are designed. The results indicate that the proposed fixture planning can improve the machining productivity, which based on cabapility of three-axis NC machining center (MC).

Abstract: Through summarizing and analyzing the design and application characteristics of large inclination main belt conveyor, it is shown that the large inclination conveyor can not only overcome the problem of large inclination main inclined shaft, but also has the advantages of large delivery capacity, high automation level, high safety and reliability, simple operation and maintenance, economizing manpower and thingpower. It achieved good results in the application of large inclination inclined shaft in Dujiacun mine and generated great economic benefit.

Abstract: In order to solve the problems in the process of removing barriers, a new type multi-function hydraulic clamp for removing barriers was developed. It is equipped with hydraulic power system. Rack and pinion engagement transfers power and performs movement, which can easily achieve functions of clamping, cutting and expansion. It has characteristics of small size and light weight. Because of this, it is a practical tool in the situation of no power supply or small space after earthquake disaster.
