Abstract: Generally, force measurement of nanoscale material widely employs a quartz tuning fork which is resonant mechanical sensors on 32.768 kHz resonance frequency and is powerful tools. But, this paper designs the sensor by using tuning fork on 3 kHz and modifies the tuning fork by a tiny pin adhesive into the end of prong. In experiment, measurements of electrical signal from piezoelectric are study of load-mass effect and pin position. 2 touching techniques are considered: a shear-force type and a tapping mode type with highly position movement system. Silicone rubber, vinyl eraser and hydrogel are elastic material for testing. Results show that both weight and position of pin is significant influencer for resonance frequency and quality factor of sensor. Finally, the tuning fork response experimentation shown this method can be applied to material classification.

Abstract: Power converter with full closed loop water cooling system, works not only use water cooling characteristics of high efficiency, but also the electricity, and reducing the volume to prevent contamination. In this paper, we proposed a novel p-cycle safety protection approach that can provide rapid cycling radiating, and can restore the status of power device. For power cabinet composition, IGBT power modules and reactors is primarary radiating components, in which IGBT power modules that used for water cooling solution is modeled as the cooled automobile engine cooling system using cycling design principle. Besides, machine side and the network side of the power module is installed in separate cabinet to improve the tightness of the entire cabinet, in order to resist sandstorms.

Abstract: Compared with the conventional methods for deformation measurement, the GPS technique can not be affected by the weather and vision condition, so it can be used to monitor the slopes of highways in mountainous regions. Nevertheless, to reduce the observation error, countermeasures have to be adopted from the aspects of monitoring techniques and the data processing. Through field test and contrastive analysis, this study proves that the GPS technique can favorably meet the precision request of slope monitoring.

Abstract: This study proposes an approach to measure the changing geographical dispersion of world trade by using modified HirschmannHerfindahl index. We report the results for both imports and exports of world trade in three petroleum products. We argue that the world averages should be employed as a modification when assessing the geographical dispersion of an individual countrys petroleum trade. Finally, we apply the modification technique in the analysis of Chinese petroleum safety strategy.

Abstract: In order to determine stress concentration zones and defects on the surface of ferromagnetic components, the empirical model decomposition (EMD) method was proposed to eliminate noise interference of metal magnetic memory signal. Tensile-tensile fatigue test of 16MnR steel with prefabricated defects were carried out, and magnetic signals were measured using GMR sensor. The original metal magnetic memory signal was first decomposed into different intrinsic mode functions (IMF) and a residue, and reconstructed signal was obtained on the basis of the degree of the correlation coefficient. Results indicate that the reconstruction signal displays the maxima at 30mm, and there is a good correlation between the real maxima and the stress concentration zone. The EMD method is a effective signal processing method about magnetic memory signal containing some interference factors.

Abstract: The similartity of pattern recognition between inscriptions on oracle bones and cuneiform have been studied in the paper. Samples of inscriptions on oracle bones and cuneiform were taken into computer images.By analysis of inscriptions on oracle bones, and cuneiform ,a new arithmetic was chosed and a standard inflexion curve of word can be gotten. There are curves by the arithmetic in images. The standard inflexion curve of inscriptions on oracle bones and curves in cuneiform were compared.If both of curves look very similar,there is an arithmetic which can be used in pattern recognition of inscriptions on oracle bones and cuneiform .this work was supported by the fundamental research funds for the central universities (xdjk2010c053)

Abstract: This paper presents method and performance of the Helmholtz photoacoustic resonant cell and its remodified one which both were designed and tested respectively based on the measurement of the CO2 contribution of the photoacoustic signal in experiments. The average optical power at the laser operating point was 800mW for the10.653um laser (CO2 detection). On-line and real time measurement CO2/N2 mixtures (CO2 300ppm) were then performed. The Helmholtz photoacoustic resonant cell and its remodified one test of the carbodioxide conducted at their respective resonant frequency demonstrated signals about 43mV and 67mV, signal-to-noise (S/N) values about 47dB and 51dB respectively. According to test results, the remodified one also has a better quality factor. All this demonstrate the remodified Helmholtz cell can preferably improve excitation of acoustical signal.

Abstract: Bag is an important stuff in daily life, which is used to carry personal necessary articles. The elderly people usually cant distinguish the articles in the bag easily due to the decrease of vision with age. Moreover, because of the poor immunity, the elderly people are easy to be infected by bacteria. The purpose of this paper is to design an elderly-specific bag which can help elderly people distinguish the articles by touch and avoid infection due to the contamination of food and drug by mixed together with money and keys etc. Questionnaires were prepared and given to 80 aged people to determine the stuffs which they usually carry in the bags. After statistical analysis, graphic symbols were designed to characterize the stuffs that the elderly people carry most often in daily life. These symbols were tested by the aged people to determine which is the most suitable to characterize the correspond stuff. After that a bag with these symbols and modular was designed.

Abstract: Minimal control synthesis (MCS) algorithm with good compensation ability for fast disturbances is used to suppress the vibration of piezoelectric panel. The first two modes model of controlled piezoelectric panel are set up by experiment. LQR method is selected as the reference model. Simulation results show that this method have good stability, faster convergence performance and strong anti-interference ability under transient disturbances or persistent disturbances excitation.
