Abstract: Through adding in the epoxy resin coatings with low surface energy fluorine surfactants and hydrophobic SiO2 nanoparticles, prepare hydrophobic coating with imitation lotus leaf surface structure in the carbon steel surface.Discuss the influence of Hydrophobic nano-SiO2 content to the adhesion of the coating and the substrate and the static contact angle, and use scanning electron microscopy analysis of the surface structure of the coating. The results showed that the coating has a rough structure like the surface of the lotus leaf, and when the hydrophobic nano SiO2 content is 10%, the contact angle of water droplets on the coating surface is 141°C, which has good hydrophobic properties.

Abstract: Acrylic acid and its derivatives are raw materials for polymeric, paint additives, adhesive, textile and leather treating products. The increasing demand of acrylic acid is great attention for its recovery from dilute aqueous solutions. With this aim, the amine based extraction of acrylic acid from its aqueous solutions in polar diluents was investigated. In the extraction, the tri-n-octylamine in polar diluents was found to provide higher extraction efficiency than that in nonpolar diluents. It was presumed that the acid-amine complex formation is difficult and the low solubility of acid-amine complex is low in nonpolar diluents. Higher extraction efficiency for acrylic acid was obtained with the polarity of active diluents due to higher solubility for acid-amine complex with polarity of diluents.

Abstract: Graphene was prepared by using hydrazine hydrate to reduce the exfoliated graphite oxide nanosheets in the aqueous colloidal suspension. The prepared graphene were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM), respectively. The results showed that part of oxygen containing groups of the exfoliated graphite oxide nanosheets disappeared and the conjugated p bond recovered after reduction. The thickness and size of the graphene nanosheets decreased.

Abstract: In this article, the curing kinetics of natural rubber (NR) dried by microwave at frequency of 2450MHz was studied using vulcameter, as well as molecular weight. Seen from the results, the molecular weight distribution of NR dried by microwave was wide, the reaction rate of NR dried by microwave at any temperatures increased with conversion degree (α) increment and passed through a maximum at the value of α between 0.1 and 0.3, the peak height of α was increased with a shift in peak position towards a higher α value, which provided evidences that the curing behavior illustrated autocatalytic characteristics and depended on curing temperature.

Abstract: Polyacrylonitrile fiber ( PAN ) was used as the starting material, after precrosslinked respectively by hydrazine hydrate, ethylenediamine and diethylenetriamine, the products reacted with sodium sulfide with N,N-dimethyl formamide ( DMF ) as solvent under slight alkaline conditions. The reaction temperature was controlled at 70 °C and the reaction time was 6h to prepare three kinds of sulfamide modified polyacrylonitrile fiber (SAPAN), the sulfur content of which could come up to 6.8mmol/g ( dry fiber). The structure of modified polyacrylonitrile fiber was characterized by the means of IR, EA, TG and gravimetric analysis, etc., meanwhile, the preparation conditions as well as adsorption property of the fiber for precious metal ions were researched.

Abstract: Made from natural raw material two poly acid prepared a reactive anionic emulsifying agent, emulsifying agent used alone the by semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerization emulsion method. The reactive emulsifier carried out by self-made emulsifying capacity test and solution surface tension test. The particle size analysis, 1H - NMR and the surface tension of emulsion were investigated. Test results show that, the self-made reactive emulsifier emulsion is better than common anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate ( SDS twelve ), the critical micelle concentration of 28.6mmol / L.1 H - NMR and surface tension test showed that the emulsifier to participate in free radical polymerization, emulsion polymer by the reactive emulsifier 24h water absorption rate of only 2.81%, Zeta potential of up to a 70 ~ 60mV.

Abstract: A simple electrodeposition approach has been developed to fabricate Pt and Cu nanostructures via inorganic salt and surfactant to control the shape, size, and distribution of the nanomaterials. The Pt thin film fabricated by cyclic electrodeposition approach reveals low Pt loading amount and high electrocatalytic ability for the reduction reaction of tri-iodide ions indicating a great potential for the application of dye-sensitized solar cell as an efficient counter electrode.

Abstract: Myrcene-based vinyl ester resin (VER) monomer was prepared via simple Diels-Alder reaction and ring-opening esterification. The molecular structure and UV curing behaviors of prepared VER monomer were characterized using FTIR analysis method. Moreover, the mechanical properties, thermal stability and hardness of its UV cured product were also investigated. FTIR analysis results demonstrated that the target myrcene-based VER monomer has been successfully synthesized. UV curing behaviors analysis showed that prepared myrcene-based VER monomer could reach ultimate cured level within 50 s. Physical properties study showed that the UV cured product has certain tensile, flexural, impact resistance properties and high hardness. TGA indicated the UV cured product had excellent thermal stability, as it showed high thermal initial decomposition temperature at 359.6 °C .

Abstract: This paper investigates the effect of different pull-out rates on interface bonding strength. The experimental results show that rate effect is also another significant effect factor which contributes to optical interface bonding strength. In the uniaxial tensile process, the interface bonding strength is attributed to the interplay between the shear force and the friction force. The critical strain rate for leading role between shear force and friction force is 10-1.5, when less than that friction force dominates in the interface bonding mechanism, otherwise shear force dominates.

Abstract: TiO2 adsorption on GaN(0001) line defect surface has been explored by employing density functional theory. The total energy, density of states, surface energy (adsorption energy), formation energy and electron density of the various models have been obtained. Our calculations indicate that the model containing [11 line defect and one O atom at the vacancy of line defect for Ga-terminated surfaces prefers to adsorb TiO2, and the smallest adsorption energy is-11.258 eV. This study also shows that the TiO2 adsorption on line defect of [11 direction is also associated with the initial adsorption position of TiO2.
