Abstract: According to the Environmental Kuznets Theory, environmental effects can be decomposed into scale effect, structure effect, and technology effect. However, the theoretical analysis and empirical research showed that apart from the economic factors, the social, cultural institutional and regional factors impact the environmental efficiency to varying degrees. There exists a positive correlation between the economies of scale, industrial structure, environmental regulation, foreign capital dependence, the market index, the environmental awareness and the improvement of the environmental efficiency, while there exist a negative correlation between the factors of population density, trade dependence, per unit of GDP energy consumption and environmental efficiency improvement.

Abstract: Based on panel data of 36 industries in 2001-2010, this paper has measured the environmental efficiency of China's industry constrained by energy and has compared it with the conventional industrial economic efficiency. The results show that the increase of energy consumption and environmental pollutant emissions offset 47% of the industrial economic efficiency brought about by technological advances. The results also showed a failure of overall state on China's industrial environmental efficiency with less than 10 percent of DEA effective industry limited by energy.

Abstract: In this paper, the deformation of Cobb-Douglas production function was used to separate the Variable term, which the proportion of each industry affect economic growth, and further introduction of three industrial structure variables. The relationship between three industrial structures for 2001-2012 in Shaanxi and economic growth was analysis by the least squares estimation, the influence ratios, which industrial output value of share of GDP changes on effects of changes in economic growth can be acquired. The results showed that the adjustment of three industrial structure in Shaanxi conducive to economic growth, which meet the development of the three industrial structure in developed countries and consistent with the law in line with economic growth, namely a stable development of primary industry, optimizing the development of secondary industry, vigorous development of the tertiary industry.

Abstract: In recent years, frequent environmental pollution accidents draw great attention to the responsibility of companies who should fully and timely report their environmental information. However, information disclosure will increase their cost and operational risks. As such, companies often choose to disclose guiding information, or even non-disclosure. From the perspective of XBRL, this article is trying to establish a standardized mechanism for disclosing the enterprise environmental information with high correlation. In this way, we could get the information formally and easily. Additionally it may save the cost for the enterprises.

Abstract: Man, Society and Environment have mutual relationship. Nature and society are interdependent and duty of man to protect them is inherent. It has become common expectation of the whole people to pursue benefit and promote sustainable development between enterprise and society. However, some enterprises stress the nature of enterprise for pursuing profits excessively, not considering the interaction between enterprise and society, denying corporate social responsibility for environmental protection. This article examines the concept of corporate social responsibility of environmental protection, the relations between corporate social responsibility and environmental protection. Finally, the countermeasures for enterprises to undertake responsibility of environmental protection are put forward.

Abstract: The rapid development of the resource-based economy causes many environment problems. Some environmental policies are thought to be more effective than other tools for solving those problems. The paper established Social Accounting Matrix from Inner Mongolia's statistic data and Input-Output table of 2007. The CGE model simulated the effects of environmental policies on energy saving, emission reduction and different industries. The result shows that increases of 10% and 20% in resource tax rates have negative effects on the local economy, but positive effects on energy intensity and pollution emission. Moderate increase in energy price and pollutant discharge fee has negative impacts on the local economy with different extents. Increase in energy price has significant negative effects on the local economy, but prominent positive effects on pollution emission and energy intensity. So the best policy option should be to increase either resource tax or pollutant discharge fee, or both.

Abstract: It is important to build a scientific and effective indicator system for the assessment and management of regional ecological construction. A theme-based and network coupled framework provides a useful approach to solve some problems in establishing indicator systems, such as lack of systematic study on indicators connotation and non-transparent processes of indicators selection. Based on the ecological construction practice in Fujian province, China, this paper (1) analyzed the main challenges of the ecological construction,implementation and development processes, summarized the currently main themes for ecological construction, and built a theme-based indicators framework; (2) established indicators selection criteria matrix and alternative indicators matrix by using network analysis method; (3) built a multi-objective selection model considering the economic cost, social effect and ecological integrity by genetic algorithm to quantitatively select operational indicators of ecological construction. Our study will contribute to deeply understanding the connotation and improving the science and validity of the ecological indicators system for ecological construction assessment and management applications.

Abstract: The study adopts the model of sustainable development: three overlapping spheres (environment, society and economy) to examine green management in high-tech industry and through the case study of Samsung. Samsung Electronics adopted guidelines for protecting the environment and preserving human life on earth. The organization launched Green Management, which embodies 5 concepts: greening of Management, greening of Product, greening of Processes, greening of Workplace, and greening of Communities. The division has implemented the greening of management, products, procedures, workplaces, and local communities, by practicing focused green management. As declared in the ESH Policy, the Samsung Semiconductor Division considers environment, safety, and health as the key factors of its corporate management. To clean up and protect the environment and preserve life on earth, Samsung Electronics conducts extensive activities that integrate the concepts of environment, safety, health, and disaster prevention as the key factors of green management.

Abstract: In the energy structure, economic structure and sustainable development relationship, the energy structure and economic structure on the sustainable development is one of the focuses of the study. This paper explores three decades data since 1986 about energy, economic structure and economic growth and analyzes the relationships among energy, economic structure and sustainable development. The results show that the energy structure of China's economic growth, economic structure and economic growth are low. We need to adjust the energy structure and the economic structure based on the physical truth of moderate levels so that we can achieve the high moderate level between energy and economic structure and make sure sustainable development.
