Abstract: The paper made a regression analysis with the panel data of 29 provinces and cities in China from 1996 to 2010 based on Cobb-Douglas production function introducing the tax variable. The results show that the growth of per unit resource tax may extend the economic growth1.0325, 1.0243, and 1.0661 times in eastern, middle and western areas respectively. Meanwhile, when the ratio of the resource tax among the general fiscal income increase by 1%, the output elasticity of capital may increase by10.21%, 15.59% and 14% in tune, the output elasticity of labor may decrease by 22.02%, 17.47% and 13.95%. This suggests that from the perspective of perfecting the resource tax to study environmental tax levy can better rationalize resource price mechanism, and environmental tax is a very important economic method to carry out the stratagem of regional sustainable development, but there is unbalanced effect on different areas.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore and under purpose of green management, including both from the perspective of business management and the practitioners, the perspective of business management is the triple-bottom-line which consists of the environmental benefits, positive economics effect, and healthy societal images. The triple bottom line captures an expanded spectrum of values and criteria for measuring organizational (and societal) success: economic, ecological and social. Based on the perspective of the practitioners, this study will address two questions: First, what is the Environmental Positioning: Branding for green management Secondly, what are some of the concerns (Environmental impact, the Economics, the Society) Furthermore, this study discusses the case study of corporate company that has implemented green management practices. The analysis and understanding and the purpose of green management have been explored through the case study of Sony. As such, a detailed analysis of green management in high-tech industry has been covered.

Abstract: This paper calculated the development level of economy and environment in Chongqing with the relevant statistical data of Chongqing from 1997 to 2011, and analyzed the coordination degree of economy and environment. According to the result of the study, the development level of the economy in Chongqing had been improving continually, and the composite index was up from 0.761 in 1997 to 0.945 in 2011. The development level of environment appeared the trend of up-down-up, and the composite index was up from 0.682 in 1997 to 0.971 in 2011. In all, the coordination degree of economy and environment has been improving unceasingly.

Abstract: This paper conducts a research with practical evidence by collecting 3 indicators of pollutants in 31 major cities in China for the period from 2003 to 2011, and analyzes the relationship between environmental quality and economic increase in China. In the paper, it proves the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) theory. By comparing the turning points to those from other studies, it is found that the turning points of Chinas EKC are obviously lower than the other countries. In addition, the paper also makes comparisons among different cities in China, and studies the factors that trigger the turning points that characterize the environmental economic development in major cities in China. In the end, it is concluded that geographical factors, pollutant indicators, economic scales, industrial structure, technological treatments and government investments are major factors that cause the turning points to occur. Keywords: Economic Increase; Pollution Emission; Environmental Kuznets Curve; Environmental Turning Point.

Abstract: Enviropreneurship is an entrepreneurial orientation that addresses environmental problems and accommodates societal needs while simultaneously meeting the economic objective of organizations. As such, enviropreneurship can serve as a critical moderating factor that influences the relationship between green supply chain management practices (GSCMP) and sustainability performance in the Malaysian manufacturing sector. A research framework of the identified GSCMP, enviropreneurship and sustainability performance is developed with a view towards suggesting how such research might systematically be carried out. Accordingly, such thought depends upon more detailed empirical research by using advanced structural equation modeling approaches. The research findings will be particularly important for manufacturers in nurturing an entrepreneurial orientation within their organization in order to achieve sustainability performance.

Abstract: The most essential way to realize the goals in emission reduction is to speed up industrial restructuring and promote the transformation of economic growth pattern. This article collected four-digit indexes concerning industrial restructuring in 30 provinces (cities, regions) in China from 1999 to 2007 to show the extent of industrial restructuring in that area. And then it matched these figures to those of environmental pollution on provincial level. This way, it would be able to see how manufacturing industrys inner restructuring affects the emission. The results showed that Chinas industrial restructuring had led to a significant decrease in the emission per unit of GDP.

Abstract: with occurrence of a series of problems, such as overdevelopment of ecotourism resources, environmental pollution and landscape ecological destruction, it is very urgent to research evaluation on the ecotourism environmental carrying capacity (hereinafter as EECC). It is of great significance for such research and application to the sustainable development of tourist industry and ecotope protection for tourism district. This paper summarizes origin and evolution of the domestic and international concept of ecotourism bearing capacity, systematically summarizes and analyzes concept, classification, evaluation indexes and research method about the ecotourism bearing capacity. Finally, it concludes the space remains to be improved during the current research on ecotourism bearing capacity, and prospects on future research direction.

Abstract: The strategies for sustainable development have been included in the medium and long term plan of 2010 for national economic and social development. Protecting the environment is the most important prerequisite and safeguards for the sustainable development strategy. In the study, we described the history of the environmental problems in the world, the proposal and implications of sustainable development, and outlined the dialectical relationship of development with the environment. The environmental protection measures for sustainable development were proposed here, according to the environmental situation severely affecting its biophysical environment.
