Abstract: A continuous miner is one of wall mechanized coal face; its design quality and performance have directly effect on coal productivity and economic benefits. A pick on a continuous miner, contacting with coal and rock, is a tool cutting directly coal and rock, its force condition during it cuts determines directly loads of the cutting mechanism, pick wear and tear, fabric vibration and cutting performance of the machine, is the basis for the design of a continuous miner. By considering a variety of factors, a mathematical model, including the coal and rock properties, structural parameters of a pick, pick sequence, cutting parameters of the continuous miner, is established in the paper, visualization software which can be directly reflected pick' forces on the continuous miner is design. On this basis, pick' forces of a continuous miner under different working conditions are simulated and studied, which create conditions for understanding pick' force during cutting process of a continuous miner, computer-aided design of the cutting mechanism, dynamic design and research of the machine.

Abstract: According to the spatial hot cutting characteristic and the user technological requirement, designed robot bevel have cut the workstation control system based on OTC the AX-MV6.This article introduced the system hardware constitution and the principle of work, the air course control system, the robot and the controller function, the spatial hot cutting control programming method and so on. This system definitely may under the robot control, complete to steel plate each kind two-dimensional (for example plane) and three dimensional (for example bevel) cuts the work, uses in metal plate random graph cutting and bevel cutting. Confirms this system performance after the production to be stable, the work piece cutting quality is good, the production efficiency is high.

Abstract: In accordance with slow running speed in present soft CNC system, which is difficult to be adapted to machining with mass of data at high speed, an open architecture of soft CNC system with high performance is presented, which is based on PC+I/O hardware interface and satisfies the requirement of real time performance in data transmission by use of the fifos of RTAI, of which modules are redundantly designed to make its functions reconstructable, extensible and open by use of the routing technology of soft switch. In this system, functions of fine interpolation and movement control, a small portion of CNC system’s functions, are performed by the designed simple I/O hardware interface. It is expected to greatly improve the real-time performance and satisfy the requirement of high running speed in CNC system.

Abstract: A 3D rotary burrs grinding simulation system is described. By analyzing the structure of rotary burrs 4-axis NC grinding machine tool, rotary burrs grinding motion model is established. The method of axis direction decomposition based on 3D modeling is provided, which includes decomposing rotational part into simple primitive cells by using Visual C++ and OpenGL as the developing tools, and implementing the boolean operation between the part model and a tool sweeping solid dependent on the tool shape and tool trajectory for each tool movement. To use grinding machining simulation analysis of the interference resulted in grinding, main factors range is determined. Security region is identified in order to avoid interference between grinding wheel and the tooth surface, which can be used for guiding production of rotary burrs and improving the quality of grinding.

Abstract: This paper introduces a method of auto focusing based on fuzzy-control. Using this method, we design the scheme of optimization for focus. Variance function is used as approximately evaluate function for a large-scale in this system, and Square-gradient function is used as precise evaluate function in certain scale. Fuzzy-control is adopted the control of optimization for focus. The experiment testified that auto-focusing in this system is so accurate that accord with the required precision, and the image of collecting is clear. The machine of auto-focusing is simple, and the control of whole system is easy to implement.

Abstract: In this paper, based on the analysis of the damping torque of rotary disc-type magnetorheological fluid (MRF) damper, a new kind of MRF disc-type damper is proposed. The working disc of the new kind of damper has a wedged shape that results in variable working clearances, and hence a nonhomogeneous magnetic field is produced. The magnetic resistance of the MRF filled in the variable clearance is analyzed and the impact of the produced nonhomogeneous magnetic field on the damping torque of the damper is studied. Experiments are conducted and the damper performance under steady shear rate is evaluated with an author-designed test stand. The experimental results show that under the same exciting current and other conditions the output damping torque produced by the MRF of the new kind of damper is much greater than that of the ordinary dampers with parallel disc surfaces and constant working clearance.

Abstract: As a sort of large-scaled structural components in modern aircraft, aluminum part has been widely used nowadays. Its residual stress measurement and prediction are necessary to reduce machining deformation and keep machining precision. By Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), residual stress prediction model is set up based on different cutting parameters. Due to data sample scarcity, input selection and regression are analyzed comparatively to reduce input data dimension. It shows that cutting speed and feed per tooth have major impacts on residual stress, but they do not have better prediction ability in ANFIS model. The combination of cutting speed and radial depth of cut can predict the residual stress better.

Abstract: Technologies of remote screen sharing, remote control and network character intercommunion were adopted in this paper to construct a cooperative design system. The methods of developing cooperative plot system by the virtual network technology and constructing cooperative intercommunion system with web design language ASP and Access database were discussed, and the isomorphic environment collaborative design was carried out under the environment of AutoCAD, Pro-E, CAXA and so on. Finally, the function and feasibility of the developed cooperative design system were tested through examples.

Abstract: This paper brings forward a flexible fixture system based on magneto-rheological fluid. It is a holding and positioning device that has flexible surface of change rigidity by using current and magneto-rheological fluid valve to control variety of rigidity. It can adapt all kinds of rigidity and shape holding objects, the stress is adapted to object surface of any shape. Flexible fixture based on magneto-rheological fluid has simple structure and faster execution action and lower cost relative to pure mechanical control system. The simulation results are shown that the fixture system has better positioning precision and clamping effect. The fixture device can be applied in many domains.
