Abstract: Lanyu (Orchid Island) lies off the southeast coast of Taiwan. The island has possessed abundant ecological resources and unique precious aboriginal culture. The Tao tribe is the native resident in the island and the below-ground house is one of its traditional cultures. This research tries to establish an assessing framework for sustainable house design in Lanyu by applying the concepts of green architecture and the languages of its traditional architecture. This research first, through literature reviews and expert interviews, determines the criteria and sub-criteria to be used in the initial assessing framework. Then, through expert questionnaires, the Delphi method is used to finalize the assessing framework. Finally, the Analytic Hierarchical Process is used to identify the relative weights of criteria and sub-criteria and then obtain the priority weights of sub-criteria. The below-ground house sub-criterion has highest priority weight and should be used in the sustainable house design. Based on the obtained sub-criteria, an exemplary design case is presented.

Abstract: Combining with the differences of traditional houses between northern and southern parts of China, this paper argues that different choices of low-carbon housing design should be chosen to adjust to different climate conditions, in which geographic characteristics and economic status should be considered. Such designs can not only reflect geographical characteristics, but also reduce the construction costs of low-carbon housing effectively, and they are also in line with local economic development. And the paper also explores viable design strategies which can adjust themselves to low-carbon housing design in Nanjing.

Abstract: It was on the state of country in china, Analyzing the connotation of ecology residence, and discussing the developing inevitability of ecology residence. It was put forward that dominating the construction surface area of residence structure is the prerequisite of building ecology residence in our country. Developing science and technology of construction and adopting suitable constructing technology are the foundation of ecology residence. Perfect law and regulations is the guarantee of ecology residence. Reinforcing production of building materials, dwelling building and taking charge of the renovating are the key of construction of ecology residence. Improving economizing consciousness of the whole people is the efficacious means of construction of ecology residence, and so on. Really construction of ecology residence is a systems engineering. Abstract: Gene is the life code, recording and passing the genetic information. The ecological gene of Huizhou traditional dwellings is implicit and different from the external shape being dominant character. The article analyses the excellent ecological gene from three different aspects, settlement’s external ecological environment, interior layout, space and building fabric gene of enclosure structure. Huizhou traditional dwellings deserved modern building to study still. Finally, it expects that modern design can distill the gene and plant it into modern architecture and explore a road of innovation suitable modern design for Huizhou residential district.

Abstract: This article intended to analyze the factors that affect the development of low-carbon building, to establish a low-carbon building Influencing factors framework system with social, economic, technique, management index, combining Analytic Hierarchy Process and DEMATEL method, to provide reference for the authority to promote low-carbon building by processing the influential factor in the framework and providing 5 key factors that restrain the development of low-carbon building.

Abstract: The recycled water is the important way to solve the shortage of water resources. In China the recycled water use in the jiangnan region is still in start level, rare setting up reclaimed water system inside the village . According to designing water system in jiangnan area, using the high quality miscellaneous drainage for raw water, filtering the all sizes of particle in water, and adopting the biological membrane system decompose the organic therein, the water after disinfection can be as the non potable water. This water system is simple in technology, not occupying the land, four years of recyclable cost and the operation maintenance costs are low.
