Abstract: This study conducts investigations on the plants and plant landscaping in the two regions - Huangxing Commercial Pedestrian Street and Furong Road, which are representative and with relative concentration of population flow and traffic flow. The statistics results show that there are a total of 21 families and 25 species of ornamental plants applied in Huangxing Pedestrian Street, of which arbors and shrubs are widely used with 11 species of arbors, and 11 species of small arbors and shrubs; in terms of plant families, plants from Oleaceae, Pinaceae and Celastraceae families are more frequently used. There are a total of 12 families and 15 species of ornamental plants applied in the Furong Road, of which shrubs are more extensively used with 10 species; in terms of plant family and genera, plants from Oleaceae, Rosaceae and Theaceae families are more frequently used. On this basis, and combining with the different plant combinations and collocations, this paper conducts comparative analysis on the regional landscape arrangement modes and features, and points out the shortcomings of plant species richness and landscape levels in the plant landscapes of the two regions.

Abstract: World port has developed into the fourth generation, the regional joint participation in the global competition has become the trend of port development. Port need the new organization of space and harbor city in the entire region linkage through which to form an overall competitive advantage. And this is the basis of a preliminary study of the harbor city relationship, In this article summed up a more reasonable mode of development both in space and pointed that its revelation of the port of Bohai Rim region, the harbor City building and reference.

Abstract: Except for its basic function, the river inside a city should meet the growing spiritual need of dwellers. By analyzing the land character of Mangxi riverside in Jingyan county, predicting the utility demand for dwellers along the river and accordingly planning the riverside landscape, the paper recommends to lay out the riverside landscape according to segments and joints, so that the design adapts to the ecology, satisfies the dwellers’ requirement and offers clear structure.

Abstract: Water conservancy scenic spot (WCSS) are developing rapidly and forming industry in China, but serious government regulation (GR) phenomenon is existed. This paper used national WCSS as research object and added GR factor in SCP analysis of industrial organization theory, which forming “R-SCP” analysis method. Authors used R-SCP method analyzing WCSS industry in China, which were from GR, market structure (S), enterprise conduct (C) and market performance (P) four aspects. Some conclusions can be drawn. Firstly, GR has positive and negative effects on market structure (S), enterprise conduct (C) and market performance (P). Secondly, GR can realize orderly development of water conservancy scenic spot resources, and improve market concentration, and reduce the virulent price competition, and promote the malignant effective resource configuration. Thirdly, enterprise conduct (C) also can break through the GR, which leads to the decline of market performance (P).

Abstract: Abstract: this paper starts the research with comparison and analysis for correlative conceptions in the field of architecture landscape. For the most important and active sight element –- non-level sight element, the author reasoningly clarifies them according to the conceptions of architecture interface. This paper analyses and diagrammatizes the sight characteristic of vertical interface of architecture landscape and people’s activity characteristic in the architecture landscape space defined by vertical interface, and regards them as formal language between people and environment. Then the paper begins a discussion for the issues of vertical interface of architecture. This analysis based on the theory of building typology, and starts from investigating for instances.

Abstract: Through an actual test of the planting on the roof, observes the main climatic factors of roof surfaces about the the grass layer of green roof and the concrete roof.Study and analysis the variation of the temperature and the relative humidity of surface temperature and the air inside and outside during the daytime. Studies have shown that the application of green roof can change the temperature and humidity to decrease the temperature of the roof surface.Thereby reduces the indoor air temperature and drop the outdoor local relative humidity.

Abstract: Chinese garden was designed to allow its owner to feel the beauty of nature in a congested city. Therefore, one of its main design principles is to make the space feel bigger than its real size, in other words, the creation of complexity. Former studies of traditional Chinese garden were mostly qualitative analysis. This paper applied the space syntax approach to study its spatial design. Two gardens (Guo’s Villa in Hangzhou and Lion Grove Garden in Suzhou) with similar sizes were selected as comparative case studies. To analyze the effect of spatial complexity to human’s behavior and cognition, movement tracing and questionnaire were used to collect behavioral and cognitive data. To analyze the spatial complexity in two gardens quantitatively, VGA analysis in the Depthmap software was used. By putting the spatial attributes of the gardens and the visitors’ activities in them together, the authors find out that: firstly, by different ways of partition and composition, sites with similar size could result to dissimilar feelings; secondly, create a mismatched system of walkability and visibility is an effective way for the creation of complexity.

Abstract: "Negative space" became the thorny problem stranded in the city , by the comprehensive factors such as over-exploitation, industrial pollution, environmental destruction and chaotic management. Through eco-stitching, from three aspects of "stitching ecology - stitching History - stitching communication space", integrated treatment of complex environments. The paper takes Fanrong Street of Majia Channel in Harbin as an example, for the cold zones ecological reconstruction in winter, improving gradually and eventually become set "history display, ecological views, leisure and disaster prevention" in one of the many functions of city open space.

Abstract: China has a long history of art of landscape architecture, which is very broad and profound. The ancient landscape designers left us lots of classic landscape designs. How to develop and innovate when using these classic designs as references is the problem that our modern landscape designers should think about. This article takes an example of Xi’an Peach blossom lake scenic spot’s design, analyzes how to develop and innovate when use West Lake scenic spot as reference, and gives the author’s views of the combination of referencing and innovating in landscape design.
