Abstract: Abstract. Based on analysis of the documents of construction ways of plants landscape in the ancient China, this paper has analyzed the historical facts of the methods which include selection, specification, transplanting of plant materials and management of plants landscape for plants landscape in Traditional Chinese gardens. And also has analyzed the influence of these methods on the formation time and artistic quality of the plants landscape in Traditional Chinese gardens. On this basis of this analysis, preliminary studied on methods for planting in the ancient Chinese gardens and reference meaning in planting in the contemporary Traditional Chinese gardening.

Abstract: Yuelu Academy is one of the four most prestigious academies in the history, its architecture part had been reconstructed in 1980’s, but the garden landscape lacked unified design. Nowadays, the garden landscape of academy is losing its poetic imagery gradually. Under the principle of respecting history and spreading garden tradition, the conception of improving landscape axis for the academy and restoring Eight Scenes of Yuelu Academy is proposed for the overall restoration of the academy landscape. It is meaningful for setting a good example for the Chinese classical academy’s garden and replenishing the traditional garden art.

Abstract: Abstract. This paper discusses the role of appropriate technical support in the landscape architecture design for mountainous scenic area from four aspects, namely enjoying, relaxing, viewing and service management, and provides theoretical guidance for the method of landscape architecture design in mountainous scenic areas. This paper makes an evidential analysis of Balidian catering buildings in Mount Shaohua scenic area by the typical demonstration; This paper analyzes the factors which influence the landscape architecture design and develop a method of the appropriate technical support for the landscape architecture design in mountainous scenic areas. The integration of appropriate technology is good for the landscape architecture design in mountainous scenic areas. This method has a certain reference value for the landscape architecture design in mountainous scenic areas.

Abstract: Traditional experts method adopted in scheme selection is excessively subjective and quantitative analysis can’t be used. Based upon the basic ideas and theories of the Delphi experts grading method (abbreviate the Delphi experts grading method to ”DEGM”), this paper successfully apply DEGM in the scheme selection of landscape for a 9 spans bridge at one scenic spot, thus to achieve a good visual impact. This method gives some references for researches on the scheme selection of landscape.

Abstract: Abstract:Green lands are natural rainwater management facilities. Natural landscapes manage rainfall through a combination of evapotranspiration, infiltration, and runoff. Artful rainwater management is emulating nature split-flow rainwater in the processes of collection, conveyance and retention. Through artful design, the rainwater management facility will become a kind of site amenity that has varied values, functions, attributes. This paper introduces the American rainwater management theories and practices, proposes that the Chinese landscape architecture planning idea and design methodology should be changed. That is to use green land as natural rainwater management facility, to put the rainwater management into the procedure of landscape architecture planning and design, to ensure enough permeable area, to take measures to collect, filter and purify impervious surface runoff, to display the rainwater management process, to show the various values of drainage system. Based on the rainwater management, new Chinese modern landscape architecture model is put forward.

Abstract: In city parks, some plants degrade seriously because of human activities and lack of sunlight.A large number of bare soils stand out against the green background and have a tremendous negative impact on cityscape,ecological environment, and residents’ health.In this study, distribution of bare soils and their areas in Mianyang wuyi square were investigated. According to the characteristics,the bare soils are divided into three categories.Some normal ways to restoring landscape and ecological effects of bare soils were also pointed out, such as organic covering, inorganic particle covering and small square construction.

Abstract: Water scenery, nowadays, is one of the most important elements for creation of natural ecological surroundings of modern residential quarters. Introducing water scenery into residential quarters has become the most fashionable style for designing residential surroundings. A brief analysis of present water scenery design in this paper makes some methods and proposals for dealing with some incompetent problems existing in between the requirements of residents and shortages of water scenery design at the present time.

Abstract: Now, the low carbon economy has been becoming a new economy hot issue in the world. Using the high carbon sports venues as the case, this paper defines the low carbon operation from the view of the business administration based on the operation management theory, and expresses the important meanings of the low carbon operation of the venues, meanwhile proposes the related countermeasures of low carbon operation of the high carbon sports venues depending on the value engineering theory, therefore explores the new thoughts to develop the low carbon economy in China.

Abstract: This article induced external condition and internal factors of the sports building system firstly. Then it discussed the necessity and possibility of integration sports building design with low-carbon idea. Furthermore it investigated different essential factors which constitutes the sports building system, proposed systematic design strategies such as function conformity adapting, highly effective structure shaping, rainwater utilization, solar energy utilization and so on. Finally this article brought forward integration design mentality unified the architectural education and practices.
