Abstract: In the research on urban climate, “heat island effect” is the key point, which directly affects the buildings of city, the traffic, and people's daily life.[1]One important performance of the "heat island effect" is that the bottom atmosphere environment temperature is high, especially the air temperature near the underlay surface, namely air temperature 1.5m high. In the thermal environment which influences people's living and working, air temperature 1.5m high is the most important and direct. [2] It rises mainly by the absorption of the long wave radiation reflected by the underlay surface. So the type of underlay has a very important influence to the air temperature 1.5m high. The underlay surface temperature and the air temperature 1.5m high have a certain grade correlation. This paper is written for the research on the correlation.

Abstract: Stone, as one kind of traditional construction materials, is widely used in the construction industry. Global stone trade is mainly based on its practical function, therefore its added value is relatively low and the price competition is also very fierce. In fact, due to the inherent characteristics of stone, its added value can be greatly increased by extending its functionality through creative design. Brand marketing based on creative design can also expand its sales territory and sales volume. This paper discusses the methodology of creative design for stone products and some relative interdisciplinary theories, elaborates the enormous market potential of stone products by some examples of creative design.

Abstract: The building industry has consumed a large portion of resources, and is responsible for most pollution. So many efforts have been taken to push the industry green, including green building. However, such practice is costly, which makes it unpractical for low income buyers. Hence, other measures should be taken when construct affordable buildings, so that the environmental impacts can be mitigate while the cost is still kept within the budgets. In this article, the authors carried out a particular study on a construction project targeted at low income people to assess its environmental impacts from the life cycle perspective, with the objective to identify the largest environmental impacts and take measures to control them. Cost and benefits for related measures were also analyzed. Results shows that green policy can also be applied to affordable housing. Both targets of environmental performance and cost budget can be met.

Abstract: The rotating dual-microphone system is designed to measure the spatial acoustical parameters of sound field in the room. It is mainly composed of a repeatable inspiriting sound source associated with two microphone fixed on slowly rotating platform. In this paper, a comprehensive investigation of performance of the test system by means of computer simulation and the experiment in anechoic chamber is presented, as well as the main affecting factors are also discussed. The spatial resolution of the system varies not only with the radius of the rotating microphone, but also with the direction of arriving sound wave. The study indicates that the system is provided with enough spatial resolution and can be applied to the room acoustic measurement conveniently. When the radius of the rotating microphone is more than 0.2m the measured beam width is less than 10 degrees. By using this system the directional impulse response of room can be analyzed in detail, and various objective spatial parameters of sound field can be obtained. Some practical applications in the auditorium are also described in this paper.

Abstract: This paper attempts to explore design methods of residential areas that reflect regional construction from the planning, architectural design, and landscape and through extraction and analysis of influential elements of regional areas. The study aims at providing certain theoretical guidance for construction of regional areas and giving inspiration to creation of regional residential areas based on better inheritance of historical context and natural environment in the region to achieve people’s desires of a more comfortable, safer, and more sustainable living environment.

Abstract: Good landscape design has an important role for improving the public space thermal environment quality of the city and increasing the person's thermal comfort. This article chooses the typical park of xi’an city---QuJiangChi site park as the research object , we used the in-situ test and questionnaire survey , investigated and analyzed the thermal comfortableness and influencing factors. In order to get comfortable thermal environment of urban public space, we put forward some key points of ecological design from different aspects .

Abstract: In recent years, many Chinese city sculptures have been removed or demolished in a relatively short life under the pressure of public opinion disputes or planning changes, which resulted in waste of resources. It is necessary to implement the sustainable development concept that has been widely used in building project field. Due to the particularity, complexity and extensive connection with construction, the contents, forms, materials and techniques of large city sculptures should be designed from the perspectives of society, artificial and natural system theory to ensure a long life of physics and art, which will play an important role in urban culture construction.

Abstract: This paper examines the construction of livable environment in TieXi's old Industrial Relocation Area from three aspects, namely, the connotation of livable environment, the strategy and objective of constructing livable environment in TieXi district, and the according specific measures. Then the specific measures will be drawn via qualitative analysis and on-site inspection methods.

Abstract: China is one of the world’s largest ecological sensitive areas(ESAs), with the greatest varieties of vulnerable ecological types and the most notable manifestation of ecological vulnerability. In the presented work, features of regional housing environment are analyzed in the northwestern settlements of dry oasis edge through the line of macro bancground. Farmers’ housing spaces are constrained by windy, sandy, hot, dry and eroded environments. Therefore, famers bring about uncertain attitude towards harsh conditions and develop correspondent distributing patterns, structural features, materials and technology in local community. The reason about the lacking adaptability of housing environment is that people doubt the environmental adaptability of these local houses using Generates Technology( low-cost, low power, low-tech) as a result of further deterioration of ecological environment. The work is to explore human’s constructing behavior in the ESAs located in northwest arid oasis edge, expecting to find the way to further research.

Abstract: Data matching technology is a key technology for spatial data integration and fusion. This paper represents a solution to the complex polygon area, defines the area overlapped rate in the aspect of geometric measure, presents the data matching idea based on area overlapped rate .Then, this paper discusses and realizes the data matching relation of area elements including one to one , many to one and many to many. At last, region targets are set as the study object, large scale data are taken for example. We draw the conclusion: this algorithm is efficient.
