Abstract: According to the conditions of traffic flow and geometric characteristics of road intersections, a novel method is proposed to determine the sight distance triangle with the consideration of crossing intervals and traffic volume on the secondary road. Then the control mode is suggested for general plane intersections. In final, a simulation example in the city of Changchun is used to verify the effectiveness and performance of this traffic control mode model.

Abstract: Lolium perenne is an important species applied in the ecological restoration of slope through vegetation concrete. A controlling experiment was employed which included five level of concrete contents. The changes of germination rate, survival rate, plant height, leaf number and related parameters of root growth under different levels of concrete were determined to uncover the relationship between concrete content and seed germination, seedling establishment. The results shown that the concrete content have significant effects on seed germination and seedling establishment. Seed germination, seedling leaf number, plant height, aboveground biomass, belowground biomass and root length, root crossing number increased with the increasing of concrete content at the range from 0 to 8 %, but decreased sharply when concrete content was over 8%. However, seedling survival decreased all the time with the increasing of concrete content. These results suggested that concrete content had promoting effects on seed germination and seedling growth at the range form 0 to 8%, but had a negative effect on seedling survival. 8 % seem the suitable concrete content for seed germination and seedling growth in the vegetation concrete matrixes. In the specific ecological restoration projects, concrete content should be determined combining with the strength requirements of slope. Concrete content usually should be lower than 8 %. The seeding seeds should be increased when the concrete content had to be over 8 %.

Abstract: Taking Yangtze River delta(YRD) as the typical region, on basis of daily rainfall data from 1961 to 2006, this paper made contrastive analysis of annual and flood season precipitation between cities and suburbs in the study area with the method of statistical analysis,linear regression and R/S method. The results showed that 1) on the scale of region, for the area with relatively rapid development of urbanization, increasing trend of rainfall in urban areas was more than that of suburban areas, while for the areas with relatively slow development of urbanization, the gap was not obvious; 2) on the scale of city, for the city with relatively rapid development of urbanization, the increase amplitude of rainfall and urban-suburban gap were both obvious, for which with relatively slow development of urbanization, both were not obvious. This study can provide a reference for the analysis of urbanization.

Abstract: Taking Huzhou city as an example, the landscape spatial pattern and water quality were selected respectively as the space urbanization module and water environment level module, to construct the coupling coordination degree assessment index system. Entropy method was used to calculate the index weight and the comprehensive evaluation value of urbanization and water environment, and coupling coordination degree model to analyze the coordination degree between them. The results indicate that the coupling coordination degree between urbanization and water environment in the study period presented a fluctuation trend of deteriorating fist and improving afterwards, overall in barely coordination state, and the coordination function was weak. The coupling coordination types show a volatility trend in the way of urbanization lag-water environment retarded-urbanization lag. Analysis of the coordination between urbanization and water environment could provide theoretical bases and policy implications for achieving both goals of the urbanization level progress and water environment protection.

Abstract: The urban eco-network is the network structure in the urban eco-system that the flowing of substance, population and information have been formed in the spatial distribution. Using Analytic Network Process, MapInfo and GIS, taking Chang de city of Dong-ting Lake Region as an example, the paper analyses the integrity of urban eco-network. The results show that: (1) The characters of connection in the eco-system of forest, farmland and town are very poor between spots, the indexes of alpha, beta and gamma are very low, and the index of alpha appears negative; By comparison, the character of connection of the wetland is a little better, but its index is also low; With regards to the region, its character of connection is much better. (2) The characters of entrance in the eco-function districts is much better, transformational network is relative convenient, especially in the eco-agriculture district. (3) As to the characters of smooth in the eco-system of forest, wetland and farmland, 5 eco-function districts are the best, and 3 eco-function districts are the worst in the 17 eco-function districts.

Abstract: Urban area is the main area from where our planet’s carbon discharges. It is generally accepted that the reduction of carbon will result in lower rate of economic growth. On the condition of not containing economic development, from the perspective of urban Planning, this paper tries to explore the planning approaches to the reduction of urban carbon emissions in terms of plans for the development of industries, city scale, urban spatial context, urban transportation, urban green space, architectural patterns, energy planning and urban water supply.

Abstract: Weihe river system, which is the structural frame of physical geography in Xi’an metropolitan area, has close relation to the development and construction of cities and towns. The contemporary city construction aggravated the degeneration of the river system’s natural environment, which has greatly constrained the sustainable development of local area. The thesis presents the conception of constructing Weihe river system eco-corridors, and discusses the corridors’ construction methods in macro-scale, middle-scale and micro-scale respectively. Furthermore, it puts forward the basic strategies for promoting ecological development of cities and towns as follow: optimizing regional landscape pattern to form the overall pattern of coordination between urban and rural; guiding the development of cities combined with ecological planning of river system, and improving the layout of cities relying on the river eco-corridors, so as to promote the ecological harmony between cities and rivers.

Abstract: To ensure passengers can have a comfortable thermal environment in the subway waiting room is one of the main targets in subway environment control. By using the CFD software, this paper takes an island platform with double-layer of Shenyang as the object to simulate the thermal environment of platform screen door and ventilation in the open system, then detailed analysis on the variation of the temperature field, airflow velocity field in the typical position. The results indicated that average temperature of no-PSD system platform is 2.5 ~3 °C higher than that of PSD system, standing room is 1.5 °C higher than that of PSD system , but these also meet the requirement of the standards of the environmental control and passengers’ thermal comfort. Meanwhile, through the comparative analysis to the energy consumption of the two systems, we find ventilating condition has superior to PSD system in energy saving, and it is more suitable for the local climate in the northeast.

Abstract: Under the circumstances of the changing of global climate, low-carbon city has been pursued all over the world. Associated with the overall situation of Nanchang, this paper makes a fully understanding of the features of Nanchang, such as low-carbon idea, low-carbon economic, low-carbon landscape, and so on. Based on constructing new system of low-carbon traffic, new image of low-carbon building, demonstration area of low-carbon development and low-carbon community cooperatively, we propose planning of low-carbon features of Nanchang.
